We are seeking top performers, from Preventive Maintenance to Senior Level talent, for ongoing maintenance and repair of generator and power distribution equipment in many areas throughout the United States.
The PowerSecure Service team specializes in the service and installation of distributed power systems and microgrids including gas and diesel generators, transfer switches, distribution switchgear, paralleling switchgear, solar systems, and energy storage systems. Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of commercial/industrial experience performing preventive maintenance on 500+kW generators and engines
Mechanically and electrically inclined
Willing to take Generator Assessment
Operational and functional understanding of ATS/switchgear, including troubleshooting skills.
~25% Overnight travel (varies by location)
Willing to work on call and OT as required.
Able to pass a DOT physical, background check and drug screen.
Proficient using computers, including Microsoft Office and other software.
OEM Training, certification and/or EGSA certification a plus.
Generator Field Service Technician Physical DemandsTasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work. Physical Activity: 85% physical activity required on customer site working with equipment, 15% form completion, email, other administrative tasks and completing technical support activities by way of telephone and computer communication.

Description
We are looking for a Team Lead in our Switchgear area! We're looking for someone who can communicate well with all PowerSecure employees, be proactive with identifying solutions before problems arise, be a champion for safety first and go above and beyond to achieve quality on the products we manufacture.
The Team Leader/Cell lead will be responsible for the personnel and product in their work center(s). They will handle personnel training, quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives in their area. Product and personnel status will be measured and reported on to the production supervisor. The Team Lead/Cell Lead are responsible to monitor and manage the completion of shop orders and operations as determined by the part number routing, ensuring operations are complete on time and at or under the allotted man hours. They actively review that their cells are in safe working order identifying areas of improvement. They also review quality data to ensure that manufacturing quality is improving and that the MoM and work instructions are updated to reflect corrective actions.
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent preferred
1 year of manufacturing experience.
Can read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Experience working /participating in a team-based environment
Experience using ERP in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in computers and software i.e. Microsoft 360, ERP system, etc.
Understands how to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Is capable of leading training within the cell
Understands chain of command and where to go to get questions answered

Reviews Part Number routings before beginning work reporting issues to Production Supervisor

Reports parts shortages to material handlers
Responsible for keeping manufacturing traveler and Bus BoM/Kanban usage updated and filling in appropriate location upon job

Reviews worked/hours allocated to jobs
Responsible for safety within cell and improvement initiatives
Responsible for quality of product leaving the cell
Checks IFS for hours logging errors and has them corrected.
Executes ECOs on jobs within cell

JOB SUMMARY
The End User Analyst provides proactive technical expertise to facilitate the effective use of Technology products and services by its Business Partners. This position is located at Mississippi Power Plant Watson and Plant Daniel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field is strongly preferred.
In-depth technical knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access including VBA).
Ability to program in VB, C or .Net is a plus.
Ability to manage projects using proven concepts to apply technology to business problems.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to learn internal customers' business and local technical environment.
Basic understanding of information technologies, their interaction in systems and their application to business problems.
Working knowledge of electric utility industry is a plus.

JOB SUMMARY : Incumbents for this position are those who possess high technical expertise, advanced knowledge in a particular application, technology field, high demand specialty or highly complex business area. This position is a senior-level principal position within the PMO with overall responsibility for the management of one highly complex or enterprise-wide program consisting of multiple projects. Responsible for managing all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of the program. Provides daily work direction and mentors a team of project managers and/or other project management staff for a program with 2-6 projects. JOB SUMMARY
The shoreline Land Management Specialist position's primary purpose is to protect and enhance Georgia Power's land and water assets as it relates to regulatory, environmental, aesthetic, and recreational requirements.
Ensure compliance with Georgia Power shoreline management guidelines, FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) hydro operating licenses, and other applicable state and federal laws permits or regulations pertaining to rivers, streams, lakes, wetlands, and surrounding uplands.
Manage shoreline property development and lake lot leasing on Company lands for the North Georgia Lake Resources Office, including the hydroelectric generating project reservoirs for the North Georgia Project.
Maximize revenue from the company's land and water assets, while enhancing asset value and minimizing public concern.

Four year degree in Recreation, Forestry, Real Estate, Geography, or Natural Sciences preferred.

Key contact for lake residents, homeowner associations, and governmental agencies
Manage shoreline development through established permitting program ensuring compliance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) license requirements and our Georgia Power's Shoreline Management Guidelines to allow lessees, adjacent landowners, and commercial developers to access and use Company lands and waters
Meet shoreline residents, governmental agencies, and other key stakeholders on site for construction plan review, issue management, and guideline enforcement to ensure compliance with company guidelines and FERC requirements.Prevention of unauthorized construction and encroachments through shoreline inspections; ensure consistent enforcement and removal of unauthorized structures

Support the Recreation program in Nga by performing Safety Inspections monthly and Safety Audits Annually.
Manage whitewater release weekends working with generation, state parks, and boating volunteer coordinator.
Ensure compliance with Georgia Power Park Operation Procedures, FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) hydro operating licenses, all FERC planning, studies, licensing, and compliance process to include acquiring or maintaining other necessary permits for new construction and operation of the facilities.

The supervisor of the Mechanical/Civil Discipline within Vogtle 3&4 Site Design will lead a group of individuals responsible for initiating, supporting and directing design activities associated with Vogtle 1&2 and Vogtle 3&4 interface projects as well as developing Vogtle 3&4 system and program expertise. As the Vogtle 3&4 project transitions to operations, the group will promote equipment reliability, standardization, long term asset preservation and incorporation of best practices into design products and evaluations. The supervisor reports to the Site Design Manager.
Group Responsibilities:
Developing and reviewing construction project activities for potential impacts to Vogtle 1&2 operation, as well as design and licensing bases.
Reviewing and supporting Vogtle 3&4 design and construction activities.
Developing, reviewing and providing implementation support for design changes involving Civil/Mechanical discipline. Also supporting and providing oversight of design studies and design changes contracted to outside engineering firms (A/Es).
Ensures technical adequacy of products.
Interfacing with Stress, Seismic, Fire Protection, and Environmental Qualification groups in Engineering Programs as well as Projects personnel and other design disciplines for assigned design changes.
Working with the Projects and contracted engineering firms and the site's Plant Health Committee to prioritize and schedule design changes.
Developing specifications and interfacing with vendors for major equipment required to support design modifications, or supporting this work contracted to outside firms.
Updating design calculations and other documents to reflect changes for assigned designs.
Providing project management support when required on major plant modifications.
Facilitating design review meetings for assigned design changes.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provide daily direction and coordination of design, system, and program activities within area of responsibility.
Ensure technical adequacy and procedural compliance of products.
Ensure personnel are technically competent and qualified to perform assigned tasks.
Review of design modifications performed by outside organizations.
Provide oversight of design studies and design changes contracted to outside engineering firms (A/Es).
Education
Background/Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of commercial nuclear power plant design or operation experience is preferred.
Knowledge of commercial nuclear power plant regulations, codes, and standards related to digital systems, software control, and cyber security is strongly desired.
Design experience preferred
Two years supervisory experience preferred which may include both full time and/or temporary assignments to support special projects or outages

As a Chemistry Technician at Plant Farley, near Dothan, Alabama, your expertise and training will play a critical role in minimizing impurity ingress to ensure component and system protection, maintaining fuel integrity, and controlling the radiation field of the operating units.
Summary of Position Duties
Job responsibilities include water sampling and analysis, chemical additions to plant systems, chemical analyses, radio-chemistry, laboratory Quality Assurance and Quality Control analyses, field monitoring, preparing reports. Also assumes responsibility for chemical control of gas and water systems and maintaining the sewage treatment plant.
Education
Four year degree from an accredited college or university in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics or other Physical Science major or equivalent as determined by management; with BS degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, preferred. In lieu of the degree one of the following criteria are considered equivalent:
Qualification as U.S. Navy Engineering Laboratory Technician (ELT).

Manager Credit and Collections
Description
The Credit and Collections Manager leads a team of approximately 23 employees including four supervisors responsible for collection activities supporting the C&C strategy. The C&C manager has four distinct teams supporting the overall collection efforts. This manager works across all teams to achieve a common goal of moving and keeping customers out of debt. To accomplish this, the C&C manager must collaborate with partners across multiple areas of Southern Company Gas.
In addition to demonstrating role model leadership for the team, the C&C manager partners with peer leaders to strategically advance our business initiatives to achieve operational excellence with core business objectives and goals. Having a good pulse of day-to-day operations will be key to delivering on our business results.
It is critical that this position manages credit processes and ensures compliance with all Federal and State regulations and in depth understanding of the Illinois Commerce Commission Part 280 rules. This position will also be responsible for meeting performance strategy, policies and procedures set for Credit and Collections under Southern Company Gas. Directly responsible for the effectiveness of the Credit Department and developing recommendations around business process and system improvements that increase customer satisfaction and decrease customer debt.

Valid Driver's License with clean driving record

Job Summary
This position is responsible for setting standards and providing daily work direction for the Vogtle 3&4 Project Employee Concerns Program (ECP) staff with primary focus being on concerns related to construction activities. Scope of Work
The Vogtle 3&4 Project Employee Concerns Program (ECP) serves as an alternate process to independently review issues reported by workers. Major Job Responsibilities

Partner with the Consortium/Alliance Nuclear Employee Concerns Program to ensure that the Consortium/Alliance is fulfilling the obligations laid out by the contract and NEI 97-05.
Provides leadership, daily work direction, development, monitoring and maintenance of the concerns programs for Southern Nuclear Operating Company.
Manage and give daily work direction to the site coordinators and investigate corporate concerns and ensure reports are thorough; KPI metrics are met and general leadership of the concerns program.
Providing periodic updates of coordinator status, trends and metrics to the Compliance & Concerns Director and executive management and interface with legal counsel, Licensing and/or HR on significant concerns program matters.

This position will support our Security Operations Center (SOC) by engineering new threat detections, so our SOC analyst can monitor and respond to cyber security activity across Southern Company's IT and OT networks.
As a Network Detection Engineer you will be responsible for developing and continuous improvement of detection capabilities across OT and IT networks. You'll act as a SME on our detections related to network traffic, firewall, and IDS. Job Experience and Education

Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Georgia Power Environmental Laboratory provides analytical services for facilities owned or operated by Southern Company and its subsidiaries. This position will perform chemistry analyses related to REMP, NPDES, remediation, closed cooling water, and groundwater monitoring for customers including Generation, Southern Nuclear, and Southern Company Services (SCS). This position may also provide analytical support in radiochemistry, fuel, and/or dosimetry. These analyses are provided to help the company meet or exceed environmental compliance with state and federal regulations. The GPEL has accredited programs through the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) and the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in science field (Chemistry degree preferred).
Experience / Knowledge & Skills
Environmental laboratory experience with a variety of general chemistry instrumentation including ion selective electrode, IC, mercury analyzer, XRF, Calorimeter and/or GC.
Experience in a National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) environment preferred
Preferred experience with ICP and/or ICP-MS analysis and maintenance. In depth knowledge of metals analysis in a variety of matrices a plus.
In-depth knowledge of Fules analysis and Coal and Fuel Oil is a plus.
Handling, preparing, and analyzing environmental samples according to EPA, ASTM, or other protocols.
Experience with quality control requirements for analytical methods

Description
Job Summary:
The position provides confidential, neutral, and independent investigations of alleged misconduct of the company's employees and agents, whether the alleged conduct might be considered illegal or unethical, and possible violations of company policies, laws, or regulations. Education
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Environmental/Earth Sciences, Data Science, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field a plus

Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Contribute to the management of Southern Co,'s relationship with Energy Impact Partners, including:
Matching Portfolio Company solutions with operating company and end customer problems
Monitoring portfolio company progress and reporting on that progress to Southern Co. leadership and Southern Co. business partners
Collating EIP updates, industry updates, and market intelligence to contribute to case studies, white-papers and research briefs
Creating internal and external communications (copywriting, powerpoint graphics)
Perform due diligence, including technical, financial and feasibility evaluation
Contribute to the management of Southern Company's relationship with mHub and maximize engagement with related projects.
Business Case Development for Portfolio Company pilots and programs, including:
Technical diligence and presentation
Collate of data and input from multiple stakeholder groups
Participate and lead cross-company working teams
Monitor the evolving landscape for new energy technologies, focusing on but not limited to natural gas transition, distributed energy resources (DERs), digital technologies, decarbonization and sustainability.

Position Description - Staff Accounting Assistant

The primary role of the Staff Accounting Assistant is to ensure the accurate and timely posting of customer payments and deposit of funds for Georgia Power's mailed-in payments, and for multi-account customers served by Alabama, Georgia, and Southern Company's Summary Billing process. The successful candidate will work with a team of staff accounting assistants to sort, scan and process check and electronic payments, provide support to customer and operating company personnel on payment related research and issue resolution. The role will provide an array of support functions ranging from equipment operation to data entry to research and customer interaction.

Job R esponsibilities:
Processing incoming payment transactions to accurately post to customers' accounts
Ensure balancing of deposits with daily posting files
Perform research to ensure timely resolution of payment issues
Monitor and complete exception items
Work with customers and operating company personnel to recommend/provide the best payment channel solution to meet the customer's needs
Experience and Education:
High School diploma or GED required (additional educational experience is a plus)
Experience in a payment acceptance/processing environment (experience with OPEX equipment and Mavro, BankTec, Wausau, or other payment processing software is a plus)
10-key and Data Entry experience
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
