If you want to work on cutting edge Air Force programs, Serco-WBB has a great opportunity for you! As a Senior Cost Estimator, you will be supporting the Special Projects Division (AFLCMC/WAG) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Full-time or Part-time schedules available for qualified applicants!
The Fighters and Advanced Aircraft, Special Programs Division develops, tests, and rapidly fields classified Air Force aeronautical capabilities. AFLCMC/WAG conducts studies to identify new capabilities; transitions laboratory technologies to operational platforms; executes demonstrations; and develops, tests, and rapidly fields new capabilities for the warfighter. You will be part of the Air Force's benchmark acquisition team, providing critical cost data to program teams and senior leadership for strategic decisions.
In this role, you will:
Provide Cost Analysis and Cost Estimating Support for acquisition programs
Analysis and support will include lifecycle cost estimates, business case analyses (BCA), cost benefit analyses (CBA), economic analyses (EA), cost estimates for Program Objective Memoranda (POM) submissions, and -what-if taskers-
Assist cost estimating team members in developing program definitions needed for cost estimates, including program acquisition strategies, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), ground rules, assumptions, and constraints
Use cost estimating methodologies, including: parametric cost models, Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), cost estimating factors, and analogies with complexity factors.
Document and brief cost estimates
Research cost databases/models to support lifecycle cost estimate development
Analyze contractors' cost proposals and conduct reasonableness checks
Assist in developing acquisition program information, conduct analyses, accomplish staff coordination, and participate in other various Integrated Product Team actions
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have a:
Active SECRET security clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility and Background Investigation within the last six years or on Continuous Evaluation, and the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance after employment
Master's Degree with 10 years of relevant DoD work experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of relevant DoD work experience
Additional desired experience and skills:
TOP SECRET security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and background investigation current within the past 6 years or on Continuous Evaluation
Financial management and cost estimating experience in a DoD program office
Three years of Special Access Program or SCI experience within the last five years

Serco supports the United States Air Force and is looking for a Systems Engineer II, Stock Control System (SCS) to be responsible for monitoring, testing, designing/suggesting software changes in support of the Stock Control System (SCS). The SCS SME's also respond to user calls, investigate data errors, and suggest solutions to those errors.
You will be part of a multi-functional team in the Life Cycle Management Center, which is comprised of managers, other SMEs, business analysts, cybersecurity professionals, system users and their representatives, and others. In this Systems Engineer II, Stock Control System (SCS), role, you will:
Work to test software changes in the Qualitative Test and Evaluation (QT&E) environment.
Completing and documenting software tests in the Qualitative Test and Evaluation (QT&E) environment.
Attending various meetings and conferences as required to accomplish the above tasks and as directed by the Program Managers.
Monitor the Stock Control System (SCS) and respond to data errors or system failures when they occur.
Interact with the Stock Control System (SCS) support contractor and assist them with problem resolution.
Attend software and test review meetings and sign off on the presented results when they are approved.
Ability to perform and document the technical evaluation of proposed system changes. This task requires the review of system software and the estimated hours it would take to perform proposed modifications. The purpose of this effort is to verify the technical estimate submitted by the support contractor before that work is approved.
Qualifications
To be successful in this Systems Engineer II, Stock Control System (SCS) role, you will have:
Ability to obtain an NACI / T1 favorable determination
Familiar with Air Force Instructions (AFI), Technical Order Policies, and Department of Defense (DoD) directives
Proven ability to function in a team environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willing to be trained in the use of Mainframe based systems and some Mid-Tier systems
Additional desired experience and skills:
Bachelor's Degree or three to five years of equivalent experience in an Air Force or DoD project support environment

Qualifications

15+ years related acquisition experience
Participation in development, coordination, and execution of major program milestones (prefer ACAT I/II/III acceptable)

Position Description
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Special Programs Office (AFLCMC/WAG) develops, tests, and rapidly fields classified Air Force aeronautical capabilities. Be expected to support management of 3-5 projects simultaneously with each project lasting 3-18 months
Provide consulting and project management support as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) principles for Navy Medicine Project Leaders
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A DoD Secret Clearance
Eligibility for a Common Access Card (CAC) supported by background investigation
A Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or a Masters Degree in Project Management may be substituted for a PMP
Working knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps operational environments

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Program's mission is to design, procure, integrate, install and sustain the systems/equipment hardware, associated firmware, and software required to provide the ability to protect mission-critical assets and personnel from natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other human-caused disasters. The NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is executed by the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Management Office (PMO), NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) and NAVFAC regional Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs).
The primary goal of the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Systems in accordance with their operational requirements.
As a Systems Engineer you will provide support to NAVFAC in RMF authorization efforts. This position is full-time remote in Naples.
Your responsbilities include the following:
Performing Risk Management Framework (RMF) support for Authorization Steps 1 through 4 and Step 6 throughout the systems cyber security lifecycle.
Establishment of RMF Security Plan in eMASS.
Ensure proper Architecture, Boundary, and Dataflow diagrams are completed for systems being authorized.
Inventory and documentation of hardware/software/firmware within assessment boundary.
Develop Continuous Monitoring Strategy.
Security Control Tailoring including establishment of inheritance models with key security service providers
Completion of eMASS Implementation Plan based on Continuous Monitoring Strategy.
Assist assigned Validator in drafting the RMF Security Assessment Plan.
Support all key stakeholders during RMF Step 2 Concurrence process.
Ensure 100% execution of the approved Security Assessment Plan
Ensure ACAS automated vulnerability scans are completed on all assets with-in assessment boundary and establish hardened baseline configuration with consistent, repeatable successful results.
Ensure system(s) are DISA STIG compliant - through SCAP scripts and manual checks.
Ensure analysis and results of NIST SP 800-52 rev. 4 Assessment Procedures are updated within eMASS and support documentation uploaded as evidence of compliance.
Serve as an IT Security subject matter expert supporting the Validator during on-site Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) of IT solutions.
Maintain the RMF POA&M to accurately portray the risk posture of assigned solutions.
Detail all relevant mitigation and remediation activities to vulnerabilities noted on the RMF POA&M through the Change Management Process.
Monitor HW/SW lifecycles and provide recommendation for upgrade/sustainment to leadership.
Ensure all RMF documentation is updated based on change and vulnerability management efforts.
Perform continuous security reviews of RMF Security Controls (per approved continuous monitoring strategy)
Support Information Assurance/Cybersecurity (IA/CS) support activities including testing, mitigation, annual IA/CS compliance, sustainment, vulnerability and risk management, system engineering support.
Work and support other ISSE's on team who also work remotely.

Qualifications
Required skills for you to be successful:
A bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience 8 to 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of Federal and/or State & Local government, contracting experience required.
Lead or management experience a plus.
Experience working in an in-house recruitment or agency environment, sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of active vacancies across multiple functional areas, geographies and levels.
Must be flexible to support and manage hiring across a variety of positions and contracts
Experienced in all elements of recruiting process including: candidate attraction, sourcing, candidate qualifying, networking, assessing, as well as recruiting, pre-employment and regulatory compliance issues.
Proven creative ability in developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, including online engagement, social media strategies, networking and more.
Exceptional stakeholder management and customer service skills.

International Analyst for IO&P

As the International Analyst for IO&P, you will be on a dynamic team supporting the Office for International Outreach and Policy (IO&P) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).
IO&P is responsible for providing support to any bilateral engagement that has a science and technology (S&T) related function; however, major portfolios include the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) Science and Technology Office (STO) and The Technical Cooperation Program (TTCP) as well as bilateral engagements with Australia, Canada, India, Japan, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, and the United Kingdom.
In this role, you will:
Plan and execute meetings or events between senior U.S. officials and their international counterparts. Support includes coordinating logistics (e.g., requesting access to military installations, coordinating clearances and foreign visit requests, parking for visiting personnel, etc.) for meeting delegate(s); preparing agendas; drafting read ahead information (e.g., background briefings, issue papers, decisions papers, etc.); and draft comprehensive meeting minutes or reports.
Write and maintain country papers. Country paper content includes S&T priority areas and/or specialized capabilities within a specified country; governmental and defense organizational structures within a specified country; delineating the relationship between that country's Defense S&T community and the U.S.; the international armaments cooperative relationship between the specified country and the U.S.; and maintain a record of contact between OUSD(R&E) senior leadership and the specified country.
Act as action officers in assigned geographic area of responsibility. Support includes liaising with the appropriate counterparts in the Services, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Policy (OUSD(P)), Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)); coordinating with country-specific action officers to ensure actions are completed between major engagement meetings; and coordinating with the appropriate technical personnel within OUSD(R&E) to complete outstanding actions between major engagement meetings.
Maintain situational awareness of S&T cooperative activities in assigned geographic area of responsibility and liaising with technical subject matter experts within OUSD(R&E) as well as counterparts in the Services, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Policy (OUSD(P)), Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)), and Intelligence (OUSD(I)).
Liaise with the International Cooperation Office (ICO) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) to develop Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Project Arrangement/Project Agreement (PA), Equipment and Material Transfer Arrangements (E&MTA), Working Group Terms of Reference (TOR), and/or Designated Disclosure Authority Letters (DDL), and OUSD(R&E) assessment of proposed international armaments engagement agreements.
Provide support in clearing OUSD(R&E) presentations with the OUSD(A&S) Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO), assisting OUSD(R&E) or Service representatives in exchanging information under OUSD(R&E) led forums, and/or responding to questions from OUSD(R&E) personnel or Service representatives in any international cooperation question, as needed.
Conduct data extraction from the DoD International Agreements Database on either a specific country or technical topic.
Establish and maintain IO&P external outreach tools to include the OUSD(R&E) international website, briefing cards, and overview presentations.
Work with OUSD(R&E) travel planners to set-up international travel and coordinate appropriate country/security clearances for major OUSD(R&E) international engagements, as needed/applicable.
Serve as the point of contact for Washington-based Defense Multifocal meetings. As the point of contact, synchronize activities between OUSD(R&E) initiatives and representatives from all the participating organizations/nations; and coordinate intelligence threat briefings at appropriate international events with the Chief Technical and Science Intelligence (CSTI) representatives, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD(I)).
Specific to TTCP support, act as the U.S. Executive Officer as well as provide direct support to the U.S. Principal, the U.S. Deputy, the U.S. National Representatives, and the applicable Group Executive Chair(s). Support includes providing advice and recommendations for the management and execution of TTCP; developing proposals and implement plans to improve management procedures and process efficiencies within TTCP; conduct analysis of TTCP strategic initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement; planning, preparation, and execution of U.S. participation in TTCP meetings, and events (e.g., the Principals annual meeting and teleconferences, Washington Staff meetings, EC College teleconferences, Group-level meetings, etc.); drafting the EC College Newsletter; and planning the TTCP U.S. Award Ceremony.
Specific to NATO STO support, provide support to the U.S. Science and Technology Board (STB) members, the U.S. Voting Panel members, and the U.S. National Coordinator. Support includes coordinating quarterly update meetings, prepare senior U.S. leadership before STB meetings, assess, and evaluate documents and/presentations (e.g., technical reports, etc.) before submitting to the U.S. NATO National Coordinator for approval, and coordinate with the appropriate organizations for U.S. appointments to NATO STO technical panels.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a government office or official. The government is willing to consider a candidate that has less years of experience with a higher degree level.
Must have a baseline line understanding of the different authorities available for international cooperation to identify the appropriate mechanism to support R&E efforts.
Must have experience planning and executing meetings or events.
Experience acting as liaison at a high-level for multiple offices is required.
Must have experience working with international travel agents to coordinate country/security clearances.

Teaching and/or instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A High School Diploma.
3+ years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.

Must be knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.

Position Description

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An Associate degree, any discipline from an accredited college or university, or at least 3 years of equivalent experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.

Prior experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.
Previous experience as a classroom instructor.
Must be knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.
Must demonstrate the ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants: individual career counseling experience.
Must be proficient in MS Windows and Office.
The ability to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.
Must be able to travel as requested.
May require extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, and be willing to perform administrative functions for the office.
Must have excellent time management skills, able to work independently, and able to respond to inquiries.

The Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) Program was established to expand access to confidential counseling and reduce the barriers and stigma often associated with seeking counseling support. The stresses of Military life are complex, requiring a wide range of problem solving skills in areas such as: single parenting; child care; spousal employment; fluctuating Family income; frequent relocations; isolation from other extended Family members; child education; and children coping with the absence of a parent. The DoD and Serco recognizes these difficulties and is committed to providing the necessary in person counseling support to all Active and Reserve Service members and their Families.
In this role, you will:
Non-medical Counseling Services:
Deliver -just in time- services via -walk around/coaching- approach (psychoeducation).
Identify personnel and family needs to provide a "get-well" plan.
Make referrals and warm transfers to military and community resources according to the needs of personnel and families.
Manage duty to warn and restricted reporting situations in accordance with DoD protocol.
Participate in individual and group supervision.
Share information regarding trends and issues encountered at service location.
Participate in in-services/training, quality improvement committees or other activities as assigned.
Outreach and Awareness:
Partner and augment activities family and personnel programs and services.
Build coalitions and connect with federal, state, and local resources and non-profit organizations.
Consult with military commands and installation service providers.
Advise on curriculum development in response to new presentation requests from military leadership.
Develop and implement approved training and education programs and materials.
MFLC Assignments Available: Rotational/Adult, Rotational/Child Youth Behavioral (CYB), On-Demand, Surge.
Travel: Travel is required to accomplish mission goals to include evenings and weekends with the ability to use all modes of transportation. This position requires access to US Government facilities and systems. US Citizenship, a valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations and nearby facilities is required.
Work Conditions: Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed in order to properly serve and assist clients. Job assignments may require working at client site and/or alternative sites where working conditions may vary.
Qualifications
To be successful in this roll, you will have:

Electrical Tradesman - San Diego, CA

Receive technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician, and your work will be reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to fabricate and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
Perform work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field under general supervision.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor.
Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Have a High School Diploma and 2-4 years of Shipboard experience installing electronic equipment, ducts, cableways, cables, lagging.
Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification.
Be able to use power tools, assembling both large scale and intricate mechanical assemblies.
Demonstrate the ability to working with blueprints, assembly drawings and sketches in completing a wide variety of assembly and subassembly tasks.
Experience in the fabrication and precision assembly of various mechanical assemblies.
Applicant must be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Applicant must be willing to work second shift and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on large diesel powered fleet vehicles and various construction equipment

Perform routine vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance inspections, DOT inspections and replace fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, etc.
Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Work under general supervision and is a self-starter.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
At least 4 - 6 years of related experience
Advanced electrical system troubleshooting and repair ability
Advanced hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair ability
High school diploma or its equivalent
Basic Windows System and Microsoft Office Knowledge
Must be able to effectively communicate with customers
Must possess necessary skills to operate and interpret diagnostic equipment
Candidates must provide common technician hand tools
Additional desired experience and skills:
Diesel vocational/technical school certifications
ASE Certifications preferred or capable of gaining certifications within 12 months of hire
2 to 4 years' experience on Vactor systems and directional drills
Combination of Cummins, CAT, International, Allison, Vermeer, Sweeper, Ford, GM, etc. training/certification and/or 4 to 6 years of experience
Welding Certification and/or 3 to 5 years of experience
