Join Serco as a Heavy Diesel Fleet Mechanic II in Colorado Springs, CO!

This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.

Serco supports a large municipal and utility fleet (4,000+ units) performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repair of a diverse equipment set (light, medium and heavy duty diesel/gas cars/trucks; off-road construction equipment, snow plows, ATVs, Motorcycles, Generators, VAC trucks, and ancillary equipment). In this role, you will:

• Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on large diesel powered fleet vehicles and various construction equipment

• Ability to work on a diverse equipment set, which includes mowers, cranes, backhoes, trailers, vactor units, directional drills, trenchers, bulldozers, excavators, wood chippers, asphalt laying equipment, diggers and pole setting equipment, aerial manlifts, cranes, medium and heavy trucks and mounted/non-mounted attachments.

• Operate and perform diagnosis on equipment, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, route and replaces hydraulic lines, check system for leaks and proper operation.

• Perform diagnosis and repair of complex electrical systems.

• Perform welding repairs when required

• Perform routine vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance inspections, DOT inspections and replace fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, etc.

• Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.

• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

• Work under general supervision and is a self-starter.

• The list of duties does not include ALL duties that may be assigned to this position.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• At least 4 - 6 years of related experience

• Advanced electrical system troubleshooting and repair ability

• Advanced hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair ability

• High school diploma or its equivalent

• Basic Windows System and Microsoft Office Knowledge

• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers

• Must possess necessary skills to operate and interpret diagnostic equipment

• Candidates must provide common technician hand tools

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Diesel vocational/technical school certifications

• ASE Certifications preferred or capable of gaining certifications within 12 months of hire

• 2 to 4 years' experience on Vactor systems and directional drills

• Combination of Cummins, CAT, International, Allison, Vermeer, Sweeper, Ford, GM, etc. training/certification and/or 4 to 6 years of experience

• Welding Certification and/or 3 to 5 years of experience

The Military Analyst will assist in the development of a transition plan for PMS 407 to assume management of MCS procurement from Ships GEM and will support Government Lead in the execution of the plan

In this role, you will:

• Conduct analytical studies of DDG 1000 ship repair and modernization operations and uses a rational basis for decision making or resource allocation.

• Under supervision of the government customer, tracks metrics on the quality of programs and documents.

• Operate in multinational, interagency, joint, and service unique environments.

• Maintain extensive Microsoft Excel files for each DDG 1000 shipyard availability.

• Apply operational background, as well as academic understanding of analytic theory and principles to assist in solving current and/or future mission needs or to correct problem areas.

• Assist in preparing or coordinating the preparation of Microsoft Office based products as required.

• Participate in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, readiness exercises, training, education, and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An Active DoD Govt Issued Secret Clearance is required.

JOIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. Many of those who separate from the military have transition plans while others find becoming a civilian a daunting task. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer outreach.

In this role, you will:

• Teaching and/or instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.

• Guide the transitioning Military Servicemembers in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.

• Organize and able to manage an office.

• Providing transitioning Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and, who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A High School Diploma.

• Must have 3 years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your SECRET level DoD clearance.

As the Lead Naval Logistics Analyst, you will perform complex logistics activities in support of the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) within established procedures including data management, shipping & receiving, inventory control and supply maintenance out of the Stennis Space Center, MS location.

In this role, you will:

• Receive inbound materials and updates Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) databases containing tracking information to include pricing and part numbers.

• Populate required DoD documentation for shipping & receiving activities.

• Coordinate with Serco procurements and acquisition analyst team for inbound shipment planning.

• Facilitate final delivery to end user customers at NAVO facilities.

• Prepare related reports and documentation per NAVO customer request.

• Responsible for managing an offsite warehouse and tracking movement of inventory.

• Verify shipping records on incoming and outgoing shipments with bills, invoices, or other records.

• Verify materials received are as ordered in relation to quantity and part number.

• Prepare all necessary shipment documentation, such as: Bill of Ladings, Pallet Labels, and Packing Lists.

• Collect data metrics for order dates, lead time, and delivery.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 Years of relevant experience in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience and at least 5-7 years related experience preferably in a warehouse/logistics environment. (In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 7 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by-market survey data.)

• A Secret level security clearance is required at the beginning of employment.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion is required.

• Knowledge of the practices, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements involved in Navy logistics.

• Provide support to accomplish the generation/review of logistics documentation including the following: Life Cycle Sustainment Plans; Core Logistics Analysis; Depot Source of Repair assignment; Logistics Assessments; Product Support Business Case Analyses; Item Unique Identification Plan; Programmatic Environmental, Safety & Occupational Health Evaluation; Performance Work Statements, and work specs

• Perform analyses of GPS related efforts and make recommendations related to performance enhancement, deficiency correction and/or adjustments to program logistics and sustainment plans that can improve material reliability, availability, maintainability, and/or reduce cost relative to GPS products

• Support the coordination of all Integrated Logistics Support elements to ensure all such requirements are identified and tailored to the specific individual program needs

• Perform analyses such as Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System or Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages issues and recommend corrective measures

• Assist in producing and/or reviewing documents for program office use toward supporting the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts

• Support the program office through both acquisition and sustainment phases of the life cycle

• Prepare briefings as necessary in support of Government informational and decision meetings

Additional duties to include:

• Supporting identification and documentation of logistics related activities to plan, develop and implement program strategies; preparation for milestone events; and documentation of activities in program briefs and reports

• Supports the overall project lead and provides support to Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings

• Interfacing with other Air Force, Navy and Army offices for coordination of program related activities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Active Secret Clearance (or eligibility to obtain Secret Clearance within a prescribed timeframe)

The Systems Engineering/Model-Based System Engineer (MBSE) provides support including engineering data analysis in the development, review and evaluation of data updates to Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products and design documentation required to effectively develop systems and updates to policy that directs specifications and standards for MBSE products. The MBSE will leverage existing products and models to produce DoDAF viewpoints required to support Program of Record milestone reviews. In this role, you will:

• Provide support that can identify, compare, analyze and recommend data standards for a variety of future and existing digital products for the purpose of establishing contract requirements and enable the electronic passing of data from one data warehouse or application to another. It is desired to have an understanding of the application of data science, including data mining and analytics that when applied provide for data driven decisions.

• Inform future digital engineering policies that provide commonality of technical requirements like ontology, lexicon, data & modeling environments, analytic applications, and schema.

• Develop and provide configuration management for all project architecture, model resident design specifications, and interface documents

• Provide support in all system engineering activities and processes, including:

• Monitoring and assessing sufficiency of vendor proposed hardware and software components, systems and configurations.

• Review preliminary designs (hardware and software).

• Review Engineering Change Proposals, requests for deviation/waiver of requirements, component substitutions and requests for enhancements.

• Monitor all Hardware and Software Trouble/Problem Reporting, including causal effect analysis and proposed resolution.

• Perform interoperability and integration related engineering activities.

• Provide technical assistance to Local and Program Configuration Control Boards (CCB).

• Provide System Logistic Support analysis.

• Develop initial operational and system architectural views as it applies to SSL solutions level and selected ship/platform fleet integration.

• Provide system engineering and technical support in the scope and development of interface, specification and related technical statutory/regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

To Be Successful in this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor`s degree and 10 to 12 years relative work experience.

• Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

• General working knowledge of Systems / Model based Engineering.

• Experience supporting senior leaders.

• Excellent communication (i.e., oral, writing, presentation).

Additional Desired experience and skills:

• Experience developing operational and system architectural views as it applies to SSL solutions.

• Intermediate / Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite of tools (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

In this role, you will extract operational, logistics, and maintenance data from ship systems to assist in the prediction and resolution of operational and maintenance Fleet Readiness issues. You will perform analysis of projects and programs related to military operations and strategy.

You will be a good fit for this position if you have performed staff work, have shipboard experience, and are familiar with the Navy's maintenance hierarchy.

The Military Analyst will provide daily support to the customer in support of the LHD / LHA class of ships, with these representative duties:

• Collaborate with Readiness Manager and other stakeholders regarding ship class readiness capabilities and systemic failures and propose potential solutions.

• Use shipboard knowledge and experience gained from military / civilian / contractor work to solve current and mitigate future problem areas.

• Review data from a variety of sources, including CASREPs (Casualty Reports), system availability, and parts usage to analyze and identify the root causes of complex systemic problems, and formulate solutions that balance cost reduction with cost avoidance.

• Build rapport and coordinately close with diverse operational, engineering, and logistics activities to bring about effective solutions.

• Provide guidance and recommendations to the customer.

• Coordinate and participate in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, readiness IPT, and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements.

• Monitor standards for the quality of programs and documents. Assist in the resolution of project and program priorities. Assure quality standards are throughout all contract activities.

• Demonstrate excellent writing and presentation skills to develop briefings and other documents.

• Maintain close coordination with client personnel and perform work at client site in classified environment, as required.

• Comply with security procedures and requirements.

Qualifications

The Military Analyst Must Have :

• An Active DoD Issued Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience (Navy experience or experience directly supporting the shipboard Navy.)

• Excellent writing and presentation skills.

• Experience performing Navy staff work.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint).

• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.

• In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for comparable work experience.

Desirable Qualifications

• Be expected to support management of 3-5 projects simultaneously with each project lasting 3-18 months.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A DoD Secret Clearance

• Eligible for Common Access Card (CAC) supported by background investigation

• A Bachelor's Degree in related field

Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. • Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft

• Issuing landing/takeoff instructions

• Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity.

• Issuing air traffic clearances.

• Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.

• Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities.

• Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.

• Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment

• Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties

• Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personne

• Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations

• Other duties as assigned

The rate of pay for this position is $34.31 per hour.

Qualifications

• Have a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate (FAA Form 8500-9).

Position Description

As the Business Analysis Intern, you will support the Intellectual Property Services (IPS) program, which performs highly technical patent analysis services to a variety of customers, primarily the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The IPS program is comprised of Scientists and Engineers who analyze new and existing patent documents and provide services related to the description of content within those documents. Primary service areas are Patent Classification, Patent Re-Classification, and Patent Search.

Your internship experience will focus on business operations concepts within the environment, with particular emphasis in new business growth accommodation, IT infrastructure transition, analysis and potential project plan creation of facility transition, and other related operational aspects. The position will require quickly understanding operational nuances presented within multiple lines of business. Identification of associated challenges will follow with suggested improvement areas to address these challenges as the final project output.

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your SECRET level DoD clearance.

Our management staff includes Ephraim McGhee, Sr. Program Manager/Site Lead with over 13 years of DoD contracting/oil and gas industry experience. As the Logistics Analyst, you will perform complex logistics activities in support of the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) within established procedures including data management, shipping & receiving, inventory control and supply maintenance out of the Stennis Space Center, MS location.

In this role, you will:

• Receive inbound materials and updates Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) databases containing tracking information to include pricing and part numbers.

• Populate required DoD documentation for shipping & receiving activities.

• Coordinate with Serco procurements and acquisition analyst team for inbound shipment planning.

• Facilitate final delivery to end user customers at NAVO facilities.

• Prepare related reports and documentation per NAVO customer request.

• Responsible for managing an offsite warehouse and tracking movement of inventory.

• Verify shipping records on incoming and outgoing shipments with bills, invoices, or other records.

• Verify materials received are as ordered in relation to quantity and part number.

• Prepare all necessary shipment documentation, such as: Bill of Ladings, Pallet Labels, and Packing Lists.

• Collect data metrics for order dates, lead time, and delivery.

• Work cooperatively with cross functional teams on daily activities.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• High School Diploma / GED in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience and at least 5-7 years related experience preferably in a warehouse/logistics environment. (In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 7 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected bymarket survey data.)

• A Secret level security clearance is required at the beginning of employment.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion is required.

• Knowledge of the practices, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements involved in Navy logistics.

• Required to possess experience in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Military Standard Requisitioning and Issues Procedures (MILSTRIP).

The following experience is highly favorable:

• HAZMAT materials certification

• Knowledge of the Navy Information Technology Purchase Request (ITPR) process

• Familiarity with Naval Supply Procedures

• Familiarity with Unique Material Master (UMM) system

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
