Our goal is to provide the highest level of customer support and to work to protect workers and retirees hard earned pension benefits.
In the Operations Clerk role, you will:
Acts as a liaison between our government customer and its participants. Effectively resolves customer issues, requests and inquiries.
Provide base level customer service.
Managed inbound calls in a timely manner, following call center scripts when handling different topics, identifying customer needs, providing basic information, researching participant accounts, addressing basic questions or issues, providing an accurate and efficient response.
Keep accurate records of all conversations, and meeting contractual qualitative and quantitative targets.
Perform tasks associated with call handling to include basic plan and participant file research and updates.
Preparation and scanning of documents into PBGC systems.
Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures as it relates to benefits administration.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Works under immediate supervision and reports to a supervisor.
Office location is in Doral, Florida. Due to the current pandemic situation, candidates may be assigned to remote telework; However, on site work will be required for this position once safety restrictions are lifted.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Pubic Trust security clearance.
Two years of related experience.
Must be able to exercise analysis and experience in selecting documented procedures to follow in searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of source documents.
Microsoft Office knowledge and experience.
The hourly rate for this position is 17.32/hr, plus $4.22/hr for Health and Welfare (H&W).
Office location is in Doral, Florida. Due to the current pandemic situation, candidates may be assigned to remote telework; however, this is not a full-time telework position. On site work will be required for this position once safety restrictions are lifted.

Schedule and plan meetings/appointments as required, including conference calls

Organize, collect, analyze, and present statistical information related to the tracking of applicants, goal attainment, and marketing analysis for both officer and enlisted programs
Prepare reports for Program Managers and higher level personnel, describing problems that are recurring or causing significant delays or costs, the corrective actions taken, and the need for additional time or resources needed to meet recruiting objectives
Obtain workload data and track progress in meeting objectives and use of resources via web-based Navy applications and other commercially available web-based programs
Qualifications

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

As a General Clerk II Seasonal , you will select from clearly defined processes to make simple changes and interpretations to consumer records by following easy-to-follow guides, manuals and procedures at our (city, state) location. Bring your clerical and customer service skills to the team that helps the American people obtain affordable health care.
Serco supports the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services as a prime for their Department of Health and Human Service contract which supports the Affordable Care Act. The CMS business unit is focused on providing world-class, technology-enabled support services to government organizations, helping them administer health care programs to the public. The unit delivers document processing, inbound and outbound call center support, business process design and software, application verification, and benefits determination and processing. The team delivers flexible and responsive solutions to evolving and emerging needs, a deep understanding of eligibility determination, exemptions and inconsistency processes, and knowledge of existing application processing.
As a part of this 250+ member team, you will place outbound calls to consumers across the country and provide them support they need to resolve their verifications issues within the Health Insurance Marketplace. You will work closely with your Supervisor and peers to deliver exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will:
Post information to agency records and modify forms or records.
Will communicate with consumers using your English and Spanish speaking skills.
Provide telephone support using the English and Spanish languages.
Record and input information to internal database records.
Conduct outbound telephone calls.
Perform data entry and retrieval and perform arithmetical computations.
Receive coaching/feedback and implement/take action to make changes as appropriate.
Participate in internal training through company Learning Management System and passing certification tests.
Adhere to service compliance requirements by completing training modules and passing annual re-certifications.
Maintain required production and quality standards as outlined by contract.
Recognize & assess issues associated to the task following work instructions as outlined by the line of business and escalates when necessary.

This is a temporary telecommuting position but may be required to work onsite depending on business need. In this role, you will:
Provide analytical and technical support relating to DoD CIO Cyber Manpower strategy and policy and cyber workforce initiatives.
Research, analyze, and identify DoD and federal IT skill gaps and root causes as well as recommend strategies to reduce gaps in cyber workforce positions.
Provide draft analysis and recommendation report to meet the functional community management lifecycle reporting requirements established by the Department of Defense.
Conduct research and analysis to identify cyber workforce trends; analyze data to assess the overall health of the DoD cyber workforce; develop strategic workforce documents; write cyber workforce reports for submission to the Secretary of Defense, the US Congress, or other federal entities; and provide documentation to support advocacy for legislation, regulations, policies, and tools necessary to sustain the cyber workforce.
Responsible for a broad spectrum of civilian workforce planning and analysis requirements, as well as overseeing overarching force management policies (e.g., recruitment, retention, compensation, professional development) career development, education, and training) for over 50,000 DoD civilians in 18 occupational series. Supportive efforts include research and analysis to identify workforce trends; development of strategic workforce documents; and advocating for legislation, policies, and tools which support workforce sustainment.
Analyze cyber personnel trends to support strategic human capital reporting requirements.
Understand the differences between manpower and personnel systems, and the type of human capital information that resides within them.
Ability to conduct data analytics using DoD canned reports and/or structuring data queries to obtain desired content. Other sources may include the Bureau of Labor Statistics, OPM's Fedscope.
Provide support, on an ad-hoc basis, for a variety of Congressional response requirements associated with cyber workforce management. These include analysis of draft legislation; creation and defense of legislative proposals; correspondence preparation; material support for meetings with Congressional member/staff visits; and responding to requests for information.
Monitor congressional positions and actions on matters affecting all aspects of cyber workforce management and recommends Defense positions.
Advise the DoD CIO regarding the need for new or modification to existing legislation, and congressional reporting requirements; develops timely responses to congressional responses including legislation, questions in specific areas of interest, questions and inserts for the record, hearing statements, and backup material preparation.
Prepare responses to media requests, write newsletter articles, and provide website content to share insight on DoD cyber workforce trends and the status of ongoing workforce initiatives.
Analyze workforce data and prepare cyber workforce reports to meet requirements imposed by the Secretary of Defense, the U.S. Congress, the GAO, OMB and OPM.
Provide written content for a variety of informational purposes to showcase cyber workforce initiatives.
Draft authoritative responses for GAO questions, succinctly conveying DoD's position and accomplishments and providing -artifacts- to back up comments/justifications.
Provide data to support OMB and OPM data requests.
Write briefings and large-scale reports (15-30 pages) to convey status of DoD cyber workforce.
Prepare oral reports on cyber workforce matters to the senior executives, managers, or other Defense/Federal Stakeholders.
Serve as trusted advisor to client on workforce matters.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The ability to maintain/transfer a Secret clearance and can upgrade to a Top-Secret clearance
A bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in manpower or workforce planning.
Experience in DoD canned reports and/or structuring data.

CVT Assessors support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Security Control Assessors (SCA) within the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) team by performing comprehensive and thorough Risk Management Framework cybersecurity control and vulnerability assessments. The assessment process utilizes approved DoD tools and processes for conducting these independent assessments. Results from control and vulnerability assessments are a key input to the MDA's Risk Assessment process which takes vulnerabilities associated with non-compliant RMF controls and evaluates their risk to the mission and the agency to arrive at a residual risk.
This is a technical cybersecurity position and solving complex technical cybersecurity issues will be required.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate and conduct analysis of various Cybersecurity architecture & security requirements, including ISE, PKI, GPOs, Certificates, VMware ESX, vCenter, various UNIX and Windows-based
Operating Systems. All while taking guidance from DoD IT and Cyber policies, instructions, directives, and technical guidance
Performing ACAS/Nessus discovery and vulnerability scans of target environments
Evaluating DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) settings against the target environment
Interfacing with Information System Security Officers and Managers, including reviewing documentation, such as Systems Security Plans (SSPs), risk assessment reports, authorization packages, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)

In this role, you will:
Lead a team providing naval vessel life-cycle sustainment, including planning yard functions, maintenance, procurement services, and training.
Provide analysis of shipyard progress data and metrics, and other relevant sources of information to advise clients on current and developing issues. Use tools such as Integrated Master Schedule, Cost Performance Reports, and Ship Production Analysis data. Assess data and metrics to identify and remove production chokepoints, resource allocation restrictions, or other issues impacting successful completion of vessels' intermediate and depot-level maintenance.
Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have
A Bachelor's Degree plus 10 to 12 years of relevant experience. Military or DoD experience can be substituted for a degree if sixteen (16) or more years of specific work experience can be demonstrated in an analogous or higher-level position.
A current DoD security clearance or be able to obtain an interim clearance prior to hire.
United States (U.S.) citizenship.
Experience working with domestic and international shipyards
A demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of at least two of the following:

In this role you will:
Serve as the Mechanical and Corrosion engineer in the Planning Yard for the Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) and the Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) programs.
Develop and revise installation and alteration drawings for the LCAC Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) and other ongoing availabilities, Craft Change Documents (CCDs), and Liaison Action Requests (LARs).
Update and maintain Corrosion Control Inspection reports and associated database.
Provide weekly and ad hoc updates on the Corrosion Control government program lead.
Perform on-site Corrosion Control Inspections of the Landing Craft.
Assist the Configuration Management Team in performing on-site craft inspections to verify craft configuration and currency with documentation.
Assist the customer with coordinating meetings, discussions, and action items for the Corrosion Inspection Working Group (CIWG).
Edit new and revised technical manuals.
Create, revise, and review Technical Manual Deficiency/Evaluation Reports (TMDERs).
Maintain a 3-D CAD model database for LCAC-100 (SSC).
Maintain workload and respond to tasking within the schedule and technical requirements identified in the Integrated Data Environment (IDE).

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree plus 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience. Degree must be in Engineering. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 6 years of relevant work experience. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

These efforts help ensure the ships meet all the requirement to ensure the safety of the sailors and to allow them to perform their missions successfully.
You will be part of a six-member team supporting the Aegis Test Team (ATT) that works closely with the ATT and other Serco groups focusing on implementation of engineering changes to the ship's configuration and its impact on testing and delivery.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for analyzing various Engineering Change Proposals (ECP's) and associated change paper impacting the Aegis Test Team to determine the shipyard production impacts
Understand and use the PMSES Database as tool to research and review the various ATT ECP's and for any superseding documentation.
Develop a comprehensive ship check summary in the PMSES Database using the Engineering Change Paper that's been developed to incorporate the ECP impacts to assist in the ship check verification of the ECP's
Utilize the various compartment electrical arrangement, outfitting, piping, foundation and structural drawings to identify the location of the equipment impacted by the ECP and incorporating the information into the PMSES ship check summary
Ship checkithe ECP's using the summary and change paper -if needed- to insure the work has been completed on the ship and updating the PMSES 400D Database IAW the written ECP Ship Check Procedures to reflect the results of the ship checks
Develop a working relation with the HII, SUPSHIP and 400D Program Office's, HII Craftsmen and Ships Management and the various ATT System's Subject Matter Experts
Notify the HII and SUPSHIP Program Offices of the ECP ship check status
Develop an ECP Tracking Report to status the ECP's and updating the report to reflect the latest ECP ship check status.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years. 10 years of applicable experience supporting similar work will be considered in lieu of a degree.
An active Secret clearance is required
Expert knowledge of ECP processes from initiation of the change, requirements review, implementation/-cut in- considerations, and ship check verification concerns.

Position Description
JOIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support Veterans (including National Guard and Reservists) and Veteran spouses through the Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) program that conducts job assistance workshops and suggests local employment resources.
In this role, you will:
Teaching and/or instructing Military Veterans and Veteran spouses employment skills to transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.
Guide the Military Veterans and Veteran spouses in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.
Organize and able to manage an office.
Providing Veterans (including Reserve and National Guard) and Veteran spouses a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and, who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An Associate's degree, any discipline from an accredited college or university or at least 3 years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.
Prior experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.
Previous experience as a classroom instructor.
Knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.
Demonstrated ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants: individual career counseling experience.
Proficient in MS Windows and Office.
Able to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.
Ability to travel.
May require extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, and be willing to perform administrative functions for the office.

As a part of this 250+ member team, you will place outbound calls to consumers across the country and provide them support they need to resolve their verifications issues within the Health Insurance Marketplace. In this role, you will:
Post information to agency records and modify forms or records.
Will communicate with consumers using your English and Spanish speaking skills.

Position Description

In this role, you will:

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An Associate's degree, any discipline from an accredited college or university or at least 3 years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.
Prior experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.
Previous experience as a classroom instructor.
Knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.
Demonstrated ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants: individual career counseling experience.
Proficient in MS Windows and Office.
Able to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.
Ability to travel.

Determine the impact of training requirements that are not fully funded, communicates these impacts, along with recommended solutions, to the leadership of SEA 21 and PEO Ships to allow timely adjustments of unfunded requirements, avoiding impact on the fleet.
Make recommendations for Warfare requirements and advise the Mission Area Chair on defending the requirements to the Surface Expeditionary Warfare Training Committee (SEWTC) and the resource sponsor.
Provides recommended adjustments to out-year strategic planning based on new construction and modernization fielding profile changes.
This position specializes in the planning, acquisition, and stand up of Navy training systems.
Qualifications
Education and Experience

Serco has naval engineering contracts supporting the Navy and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Our subject matter experts explore and architect solutions to satisfy existing tactical needs as well as explore the future of what's possible. In the execution of these projects, Serco is charged with evolving concepts into physical demonstration prototypes or tactical military assets. Such projects typically demand frequent development, prototyping and test cycles, under closely managed configuration control, and may include software and/or hardware in-the-loop simulations and testing. To ensure success, Serco focuses heavily on minimizing program risk by implementing the most modern integrated software and hardware development tools and processes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape software development pipelines across multiple government and industry organizations. The software engineering lead will be responsible for engineering and acquisition strategies and plans; technology maturation strategies; mission analyses; systems engineering and integration reviews; technical risk mitigation; joint requirements development; and informing acquisition milestones and modernization investment decisions.
You will be part of a team responsible for highly consequential engagements with stakeholders impacting national security and the defense capabilities of the United States. You will work closely with customers and other Serco teams to deliver quality solutions recognized by DoD and industry as outstanding contributions in engineering program and risk management across the Defense enterprise.
In this role you will:
Provide technical oversight, assessment, and analysis of software-intensive naval engineering system research, development, test, and evaluation
Oversee the drafting of program Software Development Plans (SDPs), and execution of program work in accordance with said plans
Provide software engineering subject matter expertise and mentoring in the set-up of secure software development environments, to include simulation environments and prototyping labs
Provide evaluation of and facilitate integration of software components from industry partners, Government Labs, and Warfare Centers
Conduct statutory/regulatory independent technical assessments of programs (e.g., Program Support Assessment (PSA), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and software focused reviews) to assess the status of software efforts as well as risks and issues
Perform independent software parametric analysis of development progress based on parameters received from program offices to quantitatively predict completion dates
Perform ad hoc analysis and generating high quality technical reports and presentations for senior DoD leadership to support public speaking engagements, symposium, conferences, and Congressional/OSD/Service reports
Critically review program milestone documentation and contractor deliverables to assess software equities across all phases of the system acquisition life cycle from advanced development planning, estimating, deployment decisions, and sustainment

Experience developing complex integrated software and hardware products, with encapsulation and portability tools such as the use of virtual machines or containers
Experience using predictive SW metrics and quantitative analysis techniques to gauge software quality, schedule and readiness in support of data driven decision making
Knowledge of Software Requirements Management (stability, traceability, dependencies, etc.)
Additional Desired Skill and Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorates Degree or higher in Computer Science.

Marine Electrician II - San Diego, CA
As the, Marine Electrician II, you will work on a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations. You will join, fabricate, and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies by applying appropriate safety techniques and the work is performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations. This position will be based in San Diego, CA.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that successful and safe work is performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and our Military installations which is vital to our Mission to protect and serve our Military.
As the, Marine Electrician II, you will perform the following typical tasks:
Receive initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed; performs recurring work independently; work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions including troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions.
Conduct various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement; selects, sets up, and operates standard test equipment and records test data.
Perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed such as: Constructs components, subunits, or simple models or adapts standard equipment.
Gather and maintains specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performs computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plots data and draws simple curves and graphs.
Perform simple or routine tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests; operates and adjusts simple test equipment; records test data.
Rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor in a safe work environment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and3 - 5 years of AIT Installation experience.
Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification
Must be able to have the ability to work in areas with drafts, noise, and temperature variation.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift up to 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position. Attention to safety critical.
Applicant must be familiar with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.
Applicant must be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Applicant must be willing to work second shift and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
