This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.

If you are accepted for this position, you willprepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. You will write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation. You will create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications

  • Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents

  • Gather technical information, prepares written text

  • Maintain a current internal documentation library

  • Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.

  • Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications

  • Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials

  • Work on all phases of documentation

  • Understand basic concepts and write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity

  • Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences

  • Coordinate layout and design of documents

  • Research highly technical subject matter, organizes information from multiples sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers

  • Under general direction, write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity

  • Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources

  • Produce defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems

  • Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information

  • Produce technical documentation for Cryptologic programs or projects developing analytic tradecraft methodologies

  • Apply technical manual standard NSA DS-89 to work product.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • U.S. citizenship

  • Six (6) years experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

  • Support IC Cloud activities to include external engagements, working groups, periodic technical reviews, and actions; and internal Govt system engineering actions, working groups, and activities

  • Coordinate with Capabilities and Architecture team and technical leaders across the organization initiatives to include architecture modernization, security enhancements, and incorporation of new requirements.

  • Facilitate engineering efforts to add system instrumentation across IC GovCloud to support enhanced metrics, mission impact insight, and Fee-for Service initiatives.

  • Coordinate with IC Gov Cloud Program Managers, Outreach teams, and other stakeholders, internal and external, to support programmatic activities and reviews, strategic planning activities, customer engagement, and related activities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.

  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, you may substitute 4 years relevant experience.

  • 10-12 years demonstrated experience with developing, conducting AOAs and documenting large systems' software architecture.

If you are accepted for this position, you will analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications; analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities; guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. You will also provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology; incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations; develop technical documentation, develop system Architecture and system design documentation; guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Additionally, you will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts and have responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents

  • Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components

  • Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination

  • Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations

  • Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components

  • Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions

  • Define the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan

  • Develop system design solution that satisfies the system requirements and fulfills the functional analysis

  • Review and provide input to program and contract work breakdown structure (WBS), work packages and the integrated master plan (IMP)

  • Participate in the development of system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents

  • Participate in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle

  • Derive from the system requirements an understanding of stakeholder needs, functions that may be logically inferred and implied as essential to system effectiveness

  • Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements that describe in detail the functions that a system component must fulfill, and ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable

  • Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers

  • Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Non repudiation, and Availability); Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms (e.g., Identification, Authentication, Access Control, Accountability); and Security Mechanism Technology (Passwords, cryptography, discretionary access control, mandatory access control, hashing, key management, etc.)

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support Veterans (including National Guard and Reservists) and Veteran spouses through the Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) program that conducts job assistance workshops and suggests local employment resources.

In this role, you will:

  • Teaching and/or instructing Military Veterans and Veteran spouses employment skills to transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.

  • Guide the Military Veterans and Veteran spouses in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.

  • Organize and able to manage an office.

  • Providing Veterans (including Reserve and National Guard) and Veteran spouses a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and, who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An Associate's degree, any discipline from an accredited college or university or at least 3 years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.

  • Prior experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.

  • Previous experience as a classroom instructor.

  • Knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants: individual career counseling experience.

  • Proficient in MS Windows and Office.

  • Able to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.

  • Ability to travel.

  • May require extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, and be willing to perform administrative functions for the office.

Air Traffic Managers must be familiar with standard Air Traffic Control (ATC) concepts, practices, and procedures. A manager must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Managers lead and direct the work of others to accomplish the daily operation of the facility. Duties include:

  • Reporting to the Area Manager.

  • Supervising

  • Scheduling

  • Overseeing and directing training for controllers.

  • Ensuring that all reporting requirements are met.

  • Ensuring all facility directives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed.

  • Acting as a liaison with airport management and FAA at local levels.

Air Traffic Managers must also function as Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) by controlling air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. ATCS's are responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace. ATCS duties include:

  • Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.

  • Issuing landing/takeoff instructions.

  • Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity.

  • Issuing air traffic clearances.

  • Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.

  • Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities.

  • Transferring control of aircraft to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.

  • Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment.

  • Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.

  • Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel.

  • Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations.

  • Other duties as assigned

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform risk assessment activities for evaluating System Security Plans (SSP), Interim Authorization To Test (IATTs), Authorization to Operate (ATO), and Authorization to Connect (ATC)

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

All of the responsibilities listed below are considered essential functions of this position. PHOP workers provide behavioral health screenings, referral service support and outreach to Reservists, and their family members as well as consultation to Home Training Center (HTC) and Naval Operational Support Center (NOSC) leaders. This position is a hybrid serving both USNR and USMFR.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs.

  • Link at Reservists and their Family Members to -good fit services- based on identified needs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters.

  • Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources.

  • Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders.

  • Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings.

  • Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner.

  • Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NOSCs throughout the region.

  • This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check) and a ble to obtain a Security clearance.

The Planning Yard team supports the Landing Craft Division in the maintenance of the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), the configuration and engineering management of the new Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 1700, and the new Ship to Shore Connector (SSC). In this role, you will support the Configuration Data Manager in maintaining the Configuration Data Management Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) in ensuring historical accuracy of the craft configuration.

You will be part of a stellar 5-person CDMD team that works closely with the customer in delivering quality products and services to the fleet.

In this role you will:

  • Assist with establishment of CDMD-OA data records for SSC and LCU 1700 class of craft.

  • Review of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for the SSC program; data validation, analysis, and conversion for submittal to CDMD-OA.

  • Ensure configuration/equipment and logistics records in the CDMD-OA are accurate and current including technical manuals, drawing, Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs), and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs).

  • Analyze equipment and Hierarchical Structure Codes (HSCs) to ensure proper designation.

  • Update the CDMD-OA with WEBLog equipment serial number updates.

  • Participate in Integrated Logistics Support Management Team Meetings (ILSMT's) and other Government-led meetings as the SSC CDM Support Representative.

  • Provide administrator support to maintain the Landing Craft Virtual Tour (V-Tour) graphical interface; Perform CDMD-OA data uploads, component photo uploads, data validation, end-user access support.

  • Maintain the Integrated Data Environment (IDE) to provide a paperless and efficient environment for the interchange of information and data for the program.

  • Provide support, administration, and configuration management within IDE.

  • Travel to shipyards in support of Craft Configuration Audits.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A Bachelor`s degree and 0-2 years of experience. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 4 years of applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance upon employment.

  • Prior database experience such as MS Access or CDMD-Open Architecture is strongly desired.

  • Recent use and proficiency of MS Excel and other MS programs such as Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Military Logistics or Supply experience is strongly desired.

Serco supports the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) by operating the free MAP patrol and incident management service program providing safe, quick clearance of incidents that affect traffic, including vehicle accidents and disabled vehicles. The primary purpose of the MAP program is to ensure state highways are free of obstructions and safe for the traveling public.

You will be part of a team that works closely with LADOTD, local law enforcement and other first responders daily.

In this role you will:

  • Monitor state highways for vehicle crashes, disabled/abandoned vehicles, debris, and lane-closing events, traffic signal malfunctions, damage to state equipment on state roadways, and general incident/congestion scenarios.

  • Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists (including changing tires, giving battery jumps, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, etc.).

  • Work closely with police and other first responders at highway incidents.

  • Provide incident response, on-scene traffic control and limited first aid .

  • Provide Traffic Incident Management (TIM) services.

  • Use a two-way radio and/or smart phone to communicate and coordinate with the Traffic Management Center (TMC) staff and local Police agencies.

  • Observe required safety procedures to avoid injury and accidents, at all times.

  • Complete a combination of classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent

  • 0-2 years' experience in incident management or related field

  • Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license

  • Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays

  • Able to work in an outdoor environment, lift/carry 50lbs, and walk unassisted for 300 yards

  • Able to speak English language (Bilingual is plus)

  • Minimum age requirement of 21

  • Must be able to pass classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.

PHOP workers provide behavioral health screenings, referral service support and outreach to Reservists, and their family members as well as consultation to Home Training Center (HTC) and Naval Operational Support Center (NOSC) leaders. This position is a hybrid serving both USNR and USMFR.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs.

  • Link at Reservists and their Family Members to -good fit services- based on identified needs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters.

  • Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources.

  • Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders.

  • Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings.

  • Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner.

  • Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NOSCs throughout the region.

  • This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check) and a ble to obtain a Security clearance.

Serco supports the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services that administers the Medicare program and works in partnership with state governments to continue supporting eligibility determinations for consumers purchasing health insurance through the Federal Health Insurance Exchanges.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for daily operations and maintenance of the Serco information system. This information system consists of a complex, fully virtualized deployment of various server and desktop workloads. This information system also consists of multi-site connectivity via Active Directory Federated Services, a full Public Key Infrastructure deployment, and a full Active Directory Certificate Services deployment. This role works closely with the Virtualization and System Administration teams to fully manage the maintenance, outage response, and operational support of the environment. This role is expected to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Active Directory Certificate Services and Public Key Infrastructure. This position reports to the Computing Systems and Services Supervisor.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and testing in support of operational requirements and approved initiatives as they relate to the information system.

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance; investigate and resolve incidents and/or change tickets for the environment.

  • Remain current and learn new emerging technologies in information technology and implement innovative solutions.

  • Actively participate in Virtual Infrastructure technical support cross-training.

  • Participate and lead outage response for conditions related to service delivery and its components.

  • Provide technical support for Tier 2-3.

  • Serve as the SME for Active Directory Certificate Services, Public Key Infrastructure, and Multi-Factor Authentication on the team. Provide education and training to other engineers for this subject matter.

  • Provide occasional after-hours coverage and escalation support.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree and 5-7 years of related experience or 9 years of related experience in lieu of degree.

  • Experience with designing, implementing and maintaining public key infrastructure solutions to include Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services and corresponding certificate authorities.

  • Expert-level understanding of configuration and troubleshooting of Certificate Revocation Lists.

  • Advanced skill administering Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment including domain services, sites and services, users and computers, and group policy administration.

  • Advanced skill administering Windows Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, and 2016.

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Working knowledge of open SSL functionality for manipulating certificates and keys.

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Certificate

Assignments to include theevaluation and reporting onanticipated future requirements, developing plans for various projects or program activities to meet competing requirements, and provide inputs on feasibility of proposed approaches to programmatic problems.

In this role, you will:

  • Define client needs and develop plan/proposal/strategies for delivery of various project(s).

  • Provide policy and guidance recommendation to commercial and government senior level staff, based on thorough analysis utilizing accepted theory, principles, and methods for strategic planning.

  • Provide on-going support to the customer on organizational programs and projects in the area of SCS.

Qualifications

All of the responsibilities listed below are considered essential functions of this position. PHOP workers provide behavioral health screenings, referral service support and outreach to Reservists, and their family members as well as consultation to Home Training Center (HTC) and Naval Operational Support Center (NOSC) leaders. This position is a hybrid serving both USNR and USMFR.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs.

  • Link at Reservists and their Family Members to -good fit services- based on identified needs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters.

  • Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources.

  • Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders.

  • Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings.

  • Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner.

  • Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NOSCs throughout the region.

  • This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check) and a ble to obtain a Security clearance.

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health or clinical degree and 2 years of professional experience.

  • Must be independently licensed at the highest level in any U.S. State with one of the following:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor

This Test Engineer Position will be on a dynamic team responsible for testing surface programs at our customer site in Norfolk, VA and at our local office in Portsmouth, VA. Serco supports the US Navy in the acquisition of new technology used to defend our nation. Our team supports modernization ships both in Planning and Execution functions. The Primary function of this position is to manage and assist in the development and execution of the test and work control programs in support of the Modernization Program. This includes programs supporting the US Navy's Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC)

You will be part of a 3-5 -member team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality test analysis and reports. The team has been supporting waterfront maintenance and testing for over 10 years and has been recognized by both the Navy for their outstanding contributions.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with the Project Team and Test organization to ensure that all government required actions needed to support system restoration and testing are completed and accurately reflected in LMA's Integrated Production Schedule (IPS).

  • Attend the Integrated Production Schedule (IPS) review meetings.

  • Provide Electrical (HM&E) and interface with Combat Systems Test Programs on assigned availability.

  • Effectively and efficiently plans, monitors and evaluate the Test Program.

  • Act as the Project Managers Subject Matter Expert and Liaisons with the Lead Maintenance Activity test and scheduling organization to ensure that all related production and testing related work and activities are properly sequenced in the Integrated Production Schedule (IPS).

  • Direct mapping of technical sequences, test procedures to appropriate key events to ensure technically correct, timely and efficient execution of the availability.

  • Work with the assigned Integrated Test Engineer to manage the Total Ship Test Task Group (TSTTG). In this capacity will conduct test planning meetings, prepare and issue the list of scheduled and or anticipated authorized tests.

  • Monitor shipboard testing progress and takes action to assure that testing is conducted in accordance with approved safety and technical requirements. In addition, maintains a personal knowledge of the day-to-day progress of testing.

  • Works with the Project Teams and Lead Maintenance Activity (LMA) to ensure that required Temporary services and prerequisites needed to support the test program are in place and ready to support critical key events and milestones.

  • In conjunction with the Integrated Test Engineer (ITE) and Project Support Engineer (PSE) ensure time adjudication of test procedure questions, test procedure development (where warranted) to avoid work/test delays.

  • Work with the assigned Integrated Test Engineer (ITE) to ensure that a formal certification of system readiness required to support Key Events is maintained by meticulous definition and maintenance of ship(s) status. Certification of readiness may also include reviewing of test day in conjunction with the assigned ITE and PSE to ensure conformance to all work specifications.

  • Effectively coordinate with the assigned ITE for matters involving interface testing and systems under their cognizance and with Ships Force and various contractors with respect to test readiness and support of shipboard testing.

  • Respond to major changes in schedules by assisting in the restructuring of the test program or schedule to meet new objects or critical path requirements.

  • Provide recommendations to the Project Teams, Ships Force and Lead Maintenance Activity needed for the preparation of the Integrated Test Schedule, Comprehensive Test Plan and Sea Trials Agenda.

  • Work with Project Managers, Project Superintendents, senior Ships Force Personnel, various Project Team Personnel, AIT OSICS and LMA Integration and Schedule SMEs on a daily basis. Many of these meetings will be off site where in many cases the CTE is the Project Teams point of contact for all matters pertaining to Integrated Testing.

Qualifications

To be successful in this roll, you will have:

  • Bachelor`s degree and 7 years of experience or HIgh School Diploma and 15 years of shipboard maintenance experience.

  • Understanding of surface navy platforms and operations.

  • Knowledge of the methods and techniques of mechanical and electrical engineering sufficient to consider overall aspects related to testing and evaluation of ships

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the function and capabilities of the shipyard to be able to assess or anticipate response to all elements or unusual demands.

  • Considerable background and competence in extensive component/system testing and test program management as would be acquired through experience in the technical direction of HM&E test programs or testing of surface ships.

  • Secret Security Clearance.

  • Proficiency in technical writing.

  • Proficiency with MS-Office software to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Power Point.

Serco is seeking a Program Manager Representative (PMR) to coordinate and implement all technical efforts to support the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA modernization. Including identification of alteration work packages, repair work, work specifications, design requirements, alteration material requirements and identification of all required ILS. The PMR coordinates all work efforts with Regional Maintenance Centers, government AIT sponsors, Ships Force, ISEA tech codes, shipyard contractors and Planning Yard On-Site reps to ensure technical accuracy of all SHIPALT data.

You will be a part of a nice size team that works closely with our Customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. Bernerd Zwahlen has led this team for more than 5 years; he possesses 20 years of experience supporting shipyard modernization; and is a Navy veteran. This team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

The PMR is responsible for execution of the Modernization work package and adherence to the Entitled Process production milestones. Works with responsible NSA to understand and identify all work that has been accomplished and planned production dates for completion. Manages and reports to SEA 21 the status of work and financial expenditures.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and report (a) MSR and AIT adherence to production and test milestone schedules, (b) financial monitoring and reporting of CNO avail, (c) deconflict MSR and/or AIT issues with responsible NSA and sponsoring government agency and, (d) overall condition of ship during the avail.

  • Collects, develops and analyzes complex specialized information on modernization production. Serves as a technical advisor to coordinate (via conferences, meetings, correspondence, etc.), the work of a number of organizations engaged in various equipment-related functions such as supply support, maintenance and repair. Provides technical data necessary to establish deadlines and phase programs in and out, and to resolve wide-ranging sensitive or potentially difficult issues.

  • Assist in the coordination of visits to ships and Navy organizations, contractor plants, etc., to evaluate NAVSEA or TYCOM SHIPALTs, Program or Fleet SCDs, and equipment-level alteration installations. Ship visits provide a better understanding of upgrade operations and requirements and help solve broad operation, maintenance and repair problems affecting complete equipment systems to support various In-Service Engineers technical responsibility.

  • Reviews and approves NAVSEA related Condition Found Reports for cost, production and testing schedule impacts. Interface with Planning Yard On-Site Representatives to review/approve design changes or growth work. Negotiates costs with responsible NSA and assigned MSR. Identifies changes, tracks and reports all growth and new work sequences to SEA 21 and responsible NSA.

  • Coordinates all testing efforts with responsible NSA and applicable Navy sponsoring Commands. Schedule is determined by the Entitled Process Milestones and milestone dates set forth by the NSA and ship. Requires delays or testing milestone changes are quickly and effectively communicated to ALCON.

  • Participate in Lessons Learned conference and other post-installation meetings; i.e. SEA 21 Hot Washes and Modernization Execution Reviews. Post-install meetings include reviewing red-lined design drawings and capturing any design changes made via the LAR/RLAR process during installations. Information is shared for all future Cruiser and Destroyer Mod avails

  • Demonstrates superior writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual, and analytical reports for clients.

  • Maintains and complies with security procedures in the performance of duties.

  • May provide direction, training, and assistance to other Program Manger Representative support, as an expert in a particular field of endeavor.

  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the lead Program Manager Representative.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An Active DoD Govt Issued Secret Clearance is required.

  • A Bachelor's degree plus 6 years directly relevant work experience is required.

  • In lieu of 6 years of directly related work experience, a Master's degree plus 5 years directly relevant work experience or doctorate plus 3 years of directly relevant work experience will be considered.

  • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, including process mapping, risk analysis and quality tools.

  • Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
