The Opportunity
The Opportunity
As a dedicated Digital/Technical Product Manager II, you will support the discovery, delivery, and performance of digital and technology products and their experiences for USAA and its members. Specifically in this role, you will have the opportunity to help refine and maintain USAAs enterprise Interactive voice response (IVR) system, focused on P&C call flows. You will collaborate with internal P&C stakeholders and partners to tackle complex and challenging problems to optimize the customers' (internal/external) experience with the IVR. Together with the team, you will optimize and improve existing IVR experiences, interacting with other digital channels and platforms to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC or Tampa, FL. What you'll do:
Leverages Digital or Technology research, business and market intelligence, and data-driven insights to support team members to identify opportunities, propose solutions, create and maintain roadmaps, and improve performance.
Prepares supporting data and materials for generating compelling presentations, and other forms of communication, to inform and influence key stakeholders.
Collaborates with stakeholders to formulate effective strategies for achieving key Digital or Technology product goals.
Finds areas of opportunity and solves for customer pain points to inform and support team members.
Leverages data-driven problem-solving techniques and analytical rigor to understand and report on product and experience performance against KPIs/KRIs.
Researches and identifies industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness of Digital or Technology products.
Maintains and applies developing knowledge of the Business, Technology, UX, and relevant experiences and processes, and an academic understanding of Product Management.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
2 years Digital/Technology Product Management experience, to include Digital/Technology experience in Strategy/Planning, Innovation, User Experience, Process Engineering, Analytics, Research/Testing (1 year of Customer Contact Channel experience within Insurance or Financial services industry will take place of 1 year of the minimum experience required)
Experience developing presentations to communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
Knowledge of Agile Methodology.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $65,090 - $124,330 .

Creates, executes, and manages full scale DE&I strategies and programs, through consultation and impactful plans of action, to meet Enterprise and CoSA/LOB DE&I strategic and operational plans, DE&I changing business needs, and ensure quality and best practice focused programs and solutions to support the achievement of goals and desired outcomes. Prepares DE&I reports including data analysis and identification of opportunities and solutions.
Partners with the DE&I leadership team in the development of the DE&I strategic vision; serves as the subject matter expert (SME) and lead for the most complex DE&I business transformation related projects and initiatives.
Provides enterprise DE&I consultation, advice, and solutions and serves as primary liaison to Executive Council and all levels of CoSA and LOB leadership, CoSA and LoB DE&I working groups regarding Employee Resource Groups, community events and investments, DE&I policy developments, responses, and communications.
Researches and analyzes DE&I standard methodologies including development of implementation strategies, business plans, action plans, or programs. Partners across various HR organizations and maximizes DE&I data (reports and insights, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) data, Affirmative Action programs, training, and other fact-based information) to support focused activities that align with enterprise DE&I strategy.
Collaborates with senior leaders and peer partners in the design of course content for DE&I presentations, communication, training, and learning modules.
Coordinates DE&I-related surveys and serves as a liaison to supplier diversity to ensure alignment with enterprise diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Uses established metrics to measure effectiveness of DE&I programs. Responsible for staying abreast of issues and industry best practices to elevate outcomes.
Applies expert knowledge of DE&I, the business, and strategic priorities and acts as a proxy for leadership when necessary.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) experience in one or more human resource disciplines or general DE&I business consulting/analysis experience
4 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or projects requiring strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
Subject-matter-expert understanding of the DE&I function/discipline
Subject-matter-expert level of business insight in the areas of the DE&I business operations, industry practices, and emerging trends
Demonstrated ability to assess and make decisions of a complex nature that aligns to Enterprise and/or CoSA DE&I objectives
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels
Subject-matter-expert knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to recognize key market trends and mitigate potential risks through proactive recommendations and thought leadership

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Product Management Director, you will be accountable for the strategic vision and P&L management of USAA Bank's credit builder and non-rewards Credit Cards. You will support short and long term strategy to advance the current products and develop new products for the segment of member's that these products are designed for. Identifies existing and emerging business disruption risks and ensures adequate risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans are designed and in place to protect our employees, our resources and critical third party. Coordinates training, exercises and tests and provides guidance to ensure adherence to USAA's business continuity policy, standard and procedures.
The selected candidate for this position will work as a teammate on USAA's Enterprise Resiliency Group's Exercise Team. They will contribute to ensuring USAA's business, technology, and U.S. and International based campus leaders are prepared to respond to, manage through, and swiftly recover for all manner of disruptions, with a focus on cyber related incidents.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Applies proficient knowledge of the financial services industry and business continuity and resiliency requirements, policies, laws, and regulations to daily work.
Coordinates, gathers and analyzes data trends and responds accordingly to business specific business continuity and resiliency trends, requirements and requests.
Performs research, analysis and reporting to identify, resolve, and explain cross-CoSA business continuity and resiliency issues, gaps and incidents. Gathers information to support business analysis, resolve incidents, gaps and issues, and identify points of escalation.
Plans and executes cross-CoSA business continuity, resiliency and recovery exercises covering life safety, business interruptions, critical suppliers and disaster recovery scenarios.
Conducts required business continuity and resiliency assessments of business processes and applications to ensure compliance with published policies and standards.
Proactively provides the business with business continuity and resiliency recommendations, support and decisions to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and compliant implementation of business requirements.
Provides business continuity and resiliency input on business action plans, projects, operational requests, including appropriately escalating to mitigate business disruptions.
Reviews business documents and forms to ensure compliance with the enterprise business continuation policy and regulatory and legal requirements.
Partners with the business, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Services, and Legal to provide appropriate risk mitigation recommendations.
Assists more experienced peers with the preparation of communications and after-action reports for senior management.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years of business and/or technology operations, business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency response, incident management, crisis response, or directly related operational risk experience in these functions.
Knowledge of business continuity and resiliency industry practices and tools; IT infrastructure, data, processing and application recovery attributes.
Proven knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance, industry regulations, regulatory data sources, and risk management practices.
Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities requiring a high attention to detail.
Proven communication skills with the ability to collaborate and execute among cross-functional teams.
Active, or the ability to obtain a valid Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certification within first year of employment.
What sets you apart:
Experience designing, planning, and facilitating cyber incident scenario-based exercises-tabletops to full-scale-with in a large financial service organization or a similarly sized technology-based organization.
Experience planning and coordinating cyber-based exercises with financial service industry organization and the U.S. government.
Experience designing, planning, and facilitating End-to-End business and technology function exercises.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $78,670.00 - $150,330.00 .
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
