The Opportunity
As a dedicated Cyber Exercise Planner and Facilitator - Mid Level you will participate in the identification, analysis, development, implementation, management and oversight of business, technology, third party recovery plans and crisis management strategies. Identifies existing and emerging business disruption risks and ensures adequate risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans are designed and in place to protect our employees, our resources and critical third party. Coordinates training, exercises and tests and provides guidance to ensure adherence to USAA's business continuity policy, standard and procedures.
The selected candidate for this position will work as a teammate on USAA's Enterprise Resiliency Group's Exercise Team. They will contribute to ensuring USAA's business, technology, and U.S. and International based campus leaders are prepared to respond to, manage through, and swiftly recover for all manner of disruptions, with a focus on cyber related incidents.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. What you'll do:
Applies proficient knowledge of the financial services industry and business continuity and resiliency requirements, policies, laws, and regulations to daily work.
Coordinates, gathers and analyzes data trends and responds accordingly to business specific business continuity and resiliency trends, requirements and requests.
Performs research, analysis and reporting to identify, resolve, and explain cross-CoSA business continuity and resiliency issues, gaps and incidents. Gathers information to support business analysis, resolve incidents, gaps and issues, and identify points of escalation.
Plans and executes cross-CoSA business continuity, resiliency and recovery exercises covering life safety, business interruptions, critical suppliers and disaster recovery scenarios.
Conducts required business continuity and resiliency assessments of business processes and applications to ensure compliance with published policies and standards.
Proactively provides the business with business continuity and resiliency recommendations, support and decisions to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and compliant implementation of business requirements.
Provides business continuity and resiliency input on business action plans, projects, operational requests, including appropriately escalating to mitigate business disruptions.
Reviews business documents and forms to ensure compliance with the enterprise business continuation policy and regulatory and legal requirements.
Partners with the business, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Services, and Legal to provide appropriate risk mitigation recommendations.
Assists more experienced peers with the preparation of communications and after-action reports for senior management.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years of business and/or technology operations, business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency response, incident management, crisis response, or directly related operational risk experience in these functions.
Knowledge of business continuity and resiliency industry practices and tools; IT infrastructure, data, processing and application recovery attributes.
Proven knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance, industry regulations, regulatory data sources, and risk management practices.
Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities requiring a high attention to detail.
Proven communication skills with the ability to collaborate and execute among cross-functional teams.
Active, or the ability to obtain a valid Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certification within first year of employment.
What sets you apart:
Experience designing, planning, and facilitating cyber incident scenario-based exercises-tabletops to full-scale-with in a large financial service organization or a similarly sized technology-based organization.
Experience planning and coordinating cyber-based exercises with financial service industry organization and the U.S. government.
Experience designing, planning, and facilitating End-to-End business and technology function exercises.

Responsible for managing and guiding teams to support operational workload planning and forecasting activities. What you have:

6 years of experience in strategic supplier or workforce management related to contact center environments.
2 years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience.
Current knowledge of call center best practices, centers of excellence, and scheduling software.
Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.

The Opportunity
The Auto Reinspector role's primary function is to review the estimating product produced by our Staff Appraisers, DRP Shops, and Vendors for compliance with policies, state laws and regulations, and OEM and industry standards and specifications. In doing so, the Reinspector will travel to repair facilities, salvage yards, and member's residences to inspect auto physical damage and review estimates and valuations against vehicle damages. The Reinspector will also conduct file reviews to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness when claims files have been closed. The Reinspection team provides proactive subject matter expert coaching, mentoring, and on-boarding for USAA claims employees and 3rd party suppliers. As such, extensive auto physical damage experience is important for success in this role.
Field based Auto Reinspectors ensure a quality auto repair appraisal and valuation product by focusing on targeted areas to continuously calibrate the reinspection process, validates reported findings and provides an objective subject matter expert (SME) knowledge to the Physical Damage Claims and broader Claims community. Completes work assignments and resolves problems independently.
We are seeking a dedicated Auto Reinspector based in Central Florida.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.
What you'll do:
Measures physical damage estimate accuracy through conducting detailed, timely re-inspections/audits of automobiles and automobile estimates, and reports on payment accuracy and compliance by method of inspection
Reports reinspection/audit findings (Staff, STARS, Independents and Third-Party vendors) for corporate score cards.
Participates in ad-hoc audits and/or market audits in partnership with Claims Stakeholders
Conducts Post Quality repair inspections and reports findings of automobiles repaired through the STARS program.
Provides objective, proactive, and useful feedback of Physical Damage (PD) policy, procedures and regulations to the Claims Stakeholders and Third-Party vendors.
Builds awareness and drives understanding of Physical Damage (PD) procedures by delivering a work product that is consistent and aligned with policy, procedures, and regulations to Claims Stakeholders.
Serves as a PD SME through post audit calibration meetings, ride-a-longs with other PD employees inspecting vehicles, training materials, PD Director teleconferences and PD Champion teleconferences.
Applies proficient knowledge of P&C insurance industry products, services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process and USAA claim appraisal process and procedures.
Provides subject matter expertise of end-to-end Total Loss assessment to include conditioning and options of all vehicles using CCC and USAA guidelines.
Supports workload surges and/or deploys to reinspect/audit Catastrophe estimate accuracy.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

The Opportunity
The Auto Reinspector role's primary function is to review the estimating product produced by our Staff Appraisers, DRP Shops, and Vendors for compliance with policies, state laws and regulations, and OEM and industry standards and specifications. The Opportunity
As an Associate Auto Adjuster your work will focus on adjusting non-injury auto claims. You'll work under supervision to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust low complexity auto insurance claims presented by or against our members. This will include the end-to-end claims process and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. The Opportunity
The Auto Reinspector role's primary function is to review the estimating product produced by our Staff Appraisers, DRP Shops, and Vendors for compliance with policies, state laws and regulations, and OEM and industry standards and specifications. In doing so, the Reinspector will travel to repair facilities, salvage yards, and member's residences to inspect auto physical damage and review estimates and valuations against vehicle damages. The Reinspector will also conduct file reviews to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness when claims files have been closed. The Reinspection team provides proactive subject matter expert coaching, mentoring, and on-boarding for USAA claims employees and 3rd party suppliers. As such, extensive auto physical damage experience is important for success in this role.
Field based Auto Reinspectors ensure a quality auto repair appraisal and valuation product by focusing on targeted areas to continuously calibrate the reinspection process, validates reported findings and provides an objective subject matter expert (SME) knowledge to the Physical Damage Claims and broader Claims community. Completes work assignments and resolves problems independently.

What you'll do:
Identifies and handles existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are optimally identified, measured, supervised, and controlled.
Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
Measures physical damage estimate accuracy through conducting detailed, timely re-inspections/audits of automobiles and automobile estimates, and reports on payment accuracy and compliance by method of inspection
Reports reinspection/audit findings (Staff, STARS, Independents and Third-Party vendors) for corporate score cards.
Participates in ad-hoc audits and/or market audits in partnership with Claims Stakeholders
Conducts Post Quality repair inspections and reports findings of automobiles repaired through the STARS program.
Provides objective, proactive, and useful feedback of Physical Damage (PD) policy, procedures and regulations to the Claims Stakeholders and Third-Party vendors.
Builds awareness and drives understanding of Physical Damage (PD) procedures by delivering a work product that is consistent and aligned with policy, procedures, and regulations to Claims Stakeholders.
Serves as a PD SME through post audit calibration meetings, ride-a-longs with other PD employees inspecting vehicles, training materials, PD Director teleconferences and PD Champion teleconferences.
Applies proficient knowledge of P&C insurance industry products, services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process and USAA claim appraisal process and procedures.
Provides subject matter expertise of end-to-end Total Loss assessment to include conditioning and options of all vehicles using CCC and USAA guidelines.

The Opportunity

Within defined guidelines and framework, you will provide specialized Auto claims service in the recovery of payments made to USAA members by legally pursuing through arbitration a third party that caused an insurance loss to the insured. The Subrogation Specialist may also defend through arbitration claims by other insurance carriers against USAA.
What you'll do:
Conducts claims investigations for moderate to high complexity cases in arbitration by analyzing the facts surrounding a loss to reach a recovery conclusion, including recorded statements, securing public records and analyzing report findings.
Applies advanced knowledge of P&C insurance industry products, services and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, common law, contract law, state statutes, evidence and damages, and arbitration program rules.
Generates contentions that accurately illustrate the facts of loss to effectuate maximum indemnity recovery or defense based on detailed analysis of claim and applicable program rules in Automobile, Medical Pay, or Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims. Recognizes and documents subrogation, SIU, and salvage opportunities, and refer accordingly.
Reimburses policyholder's deductible after recovery is made.
Serves as an arbitrator who reviews contentions and evidence submitted by multiple carriers and renders decisions that appropriately cite program rules, statutory language, and other considerations to articulate the rationale for the decision reached.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are optimally identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:

At least 2 years of claims adjusting experience.
Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and designated number of attempts.

We have several openings for dedicated Talent Acquisition (TA) Managers to provide operational excellence direction across all areas of recruitment including processes, technology, training, compliance, and continuous improvement activities. As a TA Manager, you will help USAA deliver strategic and operational hiring objectives as you manage a team of hard-working recruiters. You will lead recruitment efforts for staffing programs, projects, and operational plans to meet goals align with staffing and resource management.
This role is a hybrid work type and can be based in one of the following office locations: San Antonio, Phoenix, Charlotte, Colorado Springs, or Tampa.
The Opportunity
What you'll do:
Develop and lead a team of individual contributors to established performance expectations, to include providing feedback, coaching, and career counseling.
Lead the core operational processes for TA delivery team and ensure hiring success by supporting business processes, tools, and systems to support the recruiting team, hiring leaders, and candidates.
Apply established success measures and assess the effectiveness of recruiting solutions to guide shared understanding and continuous improvement around talent pipelines, funnel, and key performance indicators.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to assess business issues and develop executable plans to address program needs and/or drive the development of new recruiting programs and activities.
Endorse continuous process improvement, lean methodologies, and the identification and implementation of standard practices to improve the recruiting processes and overall candidate experience.
Champion compliance efforts with federal and state employment regulations and laws by adhering to EEO guidelines in all recruiting activity, such as interviewing, applicant tracking and mandated job postings.
Serve as talent acquisition consultant to the enterprise, providing guidance, oversight, and communication on recruitment strategies.
Support the design, development, and execution of specific recruitment programs and initiatives, using various channels to enable the hiring plan.
Ensure recruiting programs are aligned with diversity attraction strategies and associated budgets.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree
6 years of relevant experience in staffing/recruiting, consulting, analysis, or business operations management
2 years as a direct team leader, providing coaching and oversight
Demonstrated strategic planning, and subject-matter-expert knowledge of employment laws and federal/local regulations
Ability to lead cross functional projects/teams at the functional business level to implement talent acquisition related initiatives
Experience using analysis, organizational trends, competitive intelligence, and benchmarked industry practices to understand talent shifts
What sets you apart:
Previous experience using Workday Recruiting module
Demonstrable experience building and executing candidate sourcing strategies
Experience with various sourcing tools to engage passive candidates
Ability to deliver compelling data insights to help drive understanding and engagement

USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $95,250 - $182,030.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
