Hours will be 7:15AM-4:00PM November through March and 7:15AM to 5:00 PM April through October. This position will work Friday- Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursday off.Rate of Pay is $21.00 per Hour. El Dorado Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic to join the team at our shop in Placerville, CA!

The schedule will be Monday-Friday 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Overtime as needed.

Pay will start at $30/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Diagnose and perform repairs on Diesel Fleet.

• Ability to diagnose and repair all components; electrical, hydraulic, engines, transmissions, brakes.

• Follow safety procedures as set out by Waste Connections Inc.

• Use lock-out tag out procedure if need be.

• Fill out work order daily to keep track of hours and work performed.

• Upon completion of assignments must provide signatures on all inspection reports.

• Make parts list and order parts as needed using a P.O. system.

• Ability to Fabricate and weld, using gas or arc as needed.

• Report all problems to supervisor, Keep track daily by using a notebook for each machine Perform pm services as needed.

• Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintain a clean working environment

  QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS :

• Able to work utilizing safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, uniform, and hearing protection (PPE).

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• 2-3 years related experience working on Diesel Repair.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence accurately.

• Ability to speak effectively to employees of organization.

• Ability to read and write in English.

• ASE Certification a plus

• Must have own set of basic tools as is standard for mechanics.

• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.

• Willing and able to work weekends as needed

Job Description

Portable toilet Truck Driver will be responsible for driving a truck on specified routes to mechanically collect waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position will also be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers. Shift starts at 5:30 am and the day ends around 4:30pm or sooner. This position does get a lot of OT in the summer with occasional weekend events.

Rate of Pay is $20.10/HR, and eligible for the following rate increases over the next year. $20.64 after 90 Days, and $21.73 at One Year. Pending a positive performance review.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to work with multiple teams on integrations, new technologies development and advanced troubleshooting of any issues that arise. Technologies will include windows server, Linux, time clocks, camera system, telephony, and a wide scope of software applications. While the focus will be integrations, responsibilities will extend into working on new building implementations, camera system buildouts including cabling and upgrading current hardware at sites.

Requirements:

2-5 Years of Technical Customer Service Experience

2-5 Years of Server/Network experience (AD, DNS, NPS, SQL, Cisco IOS, DHCP, ACL, Firewalls, profiles, IIS, Cloud Applications, and VoIP)

Cabling Experience - Cat 3,5e & 6

Ability to travel for extended periods including weekends (domestic and international)

Required travel will be 60% to 80%.

The Position:

We are looking for a safety conscience Driver to join the team at our Hauling location in Payette, ID. Previous waste experience would be a huge plus!

Responsibilities include:

• Performs complete pre-trip inspection including, but not limited to, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls.

• Drives heavy diesel truck to and from customer locations and disposal area(s).

• Moves waste bin to position accessible by truck and closes all enclosure gates, as necessary.

• Reads route sheets to determine day's schedule and services each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by dispatcher or supervisor.

• Completes required route/productivity sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and other forms.

• Performs all driver check-in procedures upon returning to the facility at the end of the day.

• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement

• As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT regulation 49 CFR 383.51

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
