Contact with both internal and external customers where improper handling will have a marked effect on operating results. Ability to work with other Service Support Team Members.

Will provide 24 hour a day, 7 day a week support to field offices to include logging calls to Branches and paging on call technicians during non-business hours.

Shift Schedule: Schedules include a variety of day, evening and weekend hours.

Willing to be flexible to provide necessary coverage for peak periods, vacations, holidays, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer calls from incoming customers and dispense call information to the appropriate Branch or Service Contractor

• Utilize current system to properly log and page service calls

• Distribute faxes and electronic calls as needed

• Follow current procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the department while continually looking at process improvements and simplifications

• Identify service offices and/or personnel where intervention may be needed to improve processes

• Understand 3rd Party Companies being utilized by our key accounts in order to oversee proper procedures are being followed regarding service calls

• Coordinate field notification, tracking and payment of SPIFF programs

• Track Office Information Screen/SMS Scheduler updates, print, and follow-up as necessary

• Train and assist in the development of new hires

• Handle other projects as required

• Accredited High School diploma or GED

• 2 years in customer support and service experience required

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products to include Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, remain calm in stressful situations and adjust plans to meet changing needs

• Flexible scheduling, work any combination of 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts including weekend shifts and holidays

• Ability to see underlying concepts and patterns in complex situations in order to develop solutions that effectively address underlying problems/root causes

• Recognize changing customer needs and determine process/procedure updates and/or requirements

• Work with IT regarding customer needs when appropriate

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Ability to develop positive working relationships with others at all levels and demonstrate respect to people at all levels

• Ability to handle internal and external customers politely and efficiently follows procedures to solve problems, understand company products and services, and maintain pleasant and professional image

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Associate's degree

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products to include Access and Power Point

• Bilingual

• Field experience a plus

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales within the TX and OK territory. This includes cultivating new customers, selling service product agreements, and expanding business with existing customers. This position requires a self-motivated individual that can work independently to drive the sales within the geographic area assignment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve or surpass a targeted sales plan. District targets include growth with specific 80 customers and anchor products as well as growth in target segments (Retail, Healthcare, Full Menu Restaurant & Education).

• Works jointly with indirect sales people (Inside Sales and Service Managers).

• Responsible for developing district sales strategy with Regional Sales Manager.

• Responsible for selling Service Product Agreements

• Responsible for selling Hobart Water Treatment Products

• Responsible for relationship management with Food Service Equipment Dealers, National Account Managers, and Sales Managers.

• Participate in branch meetings and sales training in the district.

• Identify and maintain a list of potential customers as outlined in district strategic plans.

• Call on targeted district accounts and identify service product needs. Close service agreements and contracts.

• Generate sales service quotes and lead district marketing communications

• Work with local Service Managers to communicate SLA's and customer requirements.

• Submit timely reports on sales activity, competitive activity and market conditions.

• Participate in local seminars and customer / association / segment trade shows.

• Maintain knowledge of all service products applicable to segment needs and sell the full line of service products.

• Conduct all activities in keeping with company policies and procedures.

• Keep Service Branch, Service Contractors, and FRED' agents apprised of customer requirements and follow up to insure action maintaining a teamwork attitude through cooperation with other sales personnel.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business management, Marketing or finance.

Desired Education/Experience

• 8-10 years' experience selling in a service related business.

• Experience selling warranty or service agreements.

• Experience dealing directly with customers.

• Experience in the foodservice industry.

• Knowledge of commercial food equipment.

• Knowledge of restaurant, hotel and institutional kitchen operations.

• Computer proficiency.

• Demonstrated project management skills.

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

• Value added selling to key end users in focused primary markets utilizing current Magnaflux Sales Program.

• Increase knowledge of Magnetic Particle Applications and Liquid Penetrant Applications for consultative selling with Key/Major Accounts.

• Participate in innovation projects, special marketing or sales projects as required.

• Develop or enhance sales capabilities through continuing education seminars or programs.

• Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years' sales experience preferably in Industrial/Manufacturing industry.

• Chemical or consumables sales experience and/or NDT experience is beneficial.

• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and have CRM experience. Salesforce experience is preferred.

• Must possess a value-added selling approach and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to execute a sales strategy through interaction with marketing department and Sales Management.

• Must be able to travel freely within assigned territory including overnight travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
