BASIC DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses and harness sub-assemblies using documentation and/or harness boards. This position will be responsible for various assemblies and tasks depending on the cell working in. These responsibilities may include assembly, testing, and maintaining targeted inventory levels for hand controls and foot controls, assembling and winding of leads, assembly of wire harnesses, cutting and cleaning large leads, crimping wire terminals, soldering, and use of hi-pot and other test equipment. In addition, the candidate will be required to cross-train and rotate throughout cells within the department as needed. Good organizational skills, self-discipline, a positive attitude, and a customer-first mentality are required to succeed in this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Sub-assembly work

  • Opening and closing of computer work orders

  • Responsible for the ordering of raw materials

  • Use of air and electric assembly tools, hand tools, and test equipment

  • Able to read and understand bills of material and assembly drawings

  • Operation of cord-cutting machinery and ability to wind cords and coils

  • Responsible for balancing vacations and workloads between team members

  • Ability to move into different work cells within the department based on production needs

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly repetitive environment

  • Prioritize workloads to meet daily and weekly production goals and targeted products

  • Assist in making improvements to the overall business using ITW operating principles

  • Overtime is required

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-year assembly or manufacturing experience

  • The ability to read and understand circuit and wiring diagrams

  • 1 year of MRD and material ordering procedures

  • Must be able to comprehend bills of material and prints

This position primary responsibility will be winding in the Litz area. This position will learn all parts of the Litz wire area including, but not limited to, cutting, taping, sleeving, crimping, and winding of Litz wire. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Primary responsibilities include product support of our industrial welding and induction power sources, wire feeders, and related accessories.

  • Work closely with the Sustaining Engineering team, Manufacturing/Operations, Product Management, Customer Service, and our end users to improve current products and assure customer satisfaction.

  • Effectively work with other electrical, software, mechanical, and welding engineers to support our products.

  • Involvement in electrical hardware product support activities including circuit analysis, component selection, prototyping, qualification testing, troubleshooting, reliability testing, third-party compliance testing and documentation.

  • Participate in project meetings and be responsible for assigned action items and project deliverables.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field required.

  • Proficiency with electrical hardware design activities including: system architecture, component selection, schematic layout and assembly, troubleshooting, compliance testing and documentation, and manufacturing support

  • Experience with circuit modeling/simulation tools.

  • Understanding of PCB layout and PCB manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

About the opportunity:

Summary

Ensure proper materials, color changes and support to Setup Technicians is done on regular basis in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintain a proper flow of material to area of responsibility so that operation does not cease for lack of supplies.

- Make material/color changes in a timely manner to include leaving the workstation clean and organized

- Ensure product is stored and utilized in FIFO mode.

- Perform problem-solving techniques in evaluating material vacuum/drying system problems.

- Move, wrap and label finished product when so directed. Document lot control where required.

- Removes any old labels from gaylords, boxes and totes.

- Maintain proper rotation of raw material/components. Support Set-up Technicians as needed

- Responsible for using pallet walkie to move material to the blending area and placing pallets in the correct order so they properly set up the vacuum area.

- Must clean filters hourly to make sure material is properly flowing at the correct percentage through the blender.

- Report inventory of raw goods to the materials team weekly by doing a physical inventory in the rack area.

- Responsible for the upkeep of the blending machines daily by cleaning out the hoppers to make sure they are ready for next blend.

Required Experience:

- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience

- 1+ years' experience in manufacturing environment required

- Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally with good organizational skills required. Must be detailed orientated.

- Must have basic computer skills Must have a basic knowledge of machine operation and plastic injection molding

- Motivated to grow and develop skills for advancement

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends and overtime

Job Summary:

The Technical Training Manager is a subject matter expert on design, develop and training of products and equipment as well as markets, applications, and customers. The Technical Training Manager reports to the Customer Sales Excellence Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates in, and conducts technical training programs

  • Determines training objectives

  • Writes professional training programs, including outlines, text, handouts, manuals, tests and design hands on exercises.

  • Lectures class on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery and equipment, following outlines, handouts and texts.

  • Administers written and practical exams and writes performance report to evaluate trainees' performance.

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales within the Washington D.C. and Philadelphia territory. This includes cultivating new customers, selling service product agreements, and expanding business with existing customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve or surpass a targeted sales plan. District targets include growth with specific 80 customers and anchor products as well as growth in target segments (Retail, Healthcare, Full Menu Restaurant & Education).

  • Works jointly with indirect sales people (Inside Sales and Service Managers).

  • Responsible for developing district sales strategy with Regional Sales Manager.

  • Responsible for selling Service Product Agreements

  • Responsible for selling Hobart Water Treatment Products

  • Responsible for relationship management with Food Service Equipment Dealers, National Account Managers, and Sales Managers.

  • Participate in branch meetings and sales training in the district.

  • Identify and maintain a list of potential customers as outlined in district strategic plans.

  • Call on targeted district accounts and identify service product needs. Close service agreements and contracts.

  • Generate sales service quotes and lead district marketing communications

  • Work with local Service Managers to communicate SLA's and customer requirements.

  • Submit timely reports on sales activity, competitive activity and market conditions.

  • Participate in local seminars and customer / association / segment trade shows.

  • Maintain knowledge of all service products applicable to segment needs and sell the full line of service products.

  • Conduct all activities in keeping with company policies and procedures.

  • Keep Service Branch, Service Contractors, and FRED' agents apprised of customer requirements and follow up to insure action maintaining a teamwork attitude through cooperation with other sales personnel.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Marketing or finance.

Desired Education/Experience

  • 8-10 years' experience selling in a service related business.

  • Experience selling warranty or service agreements.

  • Experience dealing directly with customers.

  • Experience in the foodservice industry.

  • Knowledge of commercial food equipment.

  • Knowledge of restaurant, hotel and institutional kitchen operations.

  • Computer proficiency.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

About the opportunity:

The Installation team lead will be responsible for overseeing a crew in the installation of various components for food equipment to include adjusting, aligning, assembling, calibrating, inspecting, lubricating and testing of commercial food prep equipment, electrical/mechanical and electronics troubleshooting The selected candidate will comply with all applicable service policies and procedures, maintain frequent contact with the office to receive service assignments and review service problems with advisor, or manager. Must be available for overtime and on-call schedule.

Some of the key activities that you will perform in this role are:

  • Work on-site to set up, program, dismantle and reconstruct equipment when necessary

  • Contact customers prior to installation date to verify schedule

  • Provide guidance and coaching to installers as it relates to work assignments: specific work steps, proper use of tools, machinery and overall job performance

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in products and service; provide superior customer service by working out solutions in the best interest of the customer

  • Maintain vehicle inventory and appearance

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Accredited High School diploma, Business or trade school or GED

  • 6+ years of experience in commercial install experience

  • Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude; to include Welding, Hydraulics and/or Electrical Skills

  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and able to drive multiple hours per day

  • Able to travel and complete company training; class, audio/video, field

  • Ability to operate hand and power tools; read blueprints and schematic drawings

  • Understand How to Troubleshoot Mechanical Problems

  • Basic knowledge of refrigerant plumbing and soldering
