Performs all related duties necessary for maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment used in production plant; for maintenance and repair of the physical structure, electrical, and plumbing systems of the buildings; and, when necessary, performs various construction/remodeling duties to company property as assigned. Also performs minor electrical maintenance and repairs of plant production equipment and commercial building.
Responsibilities:
Follows all company safety rules and policies.
Reads, understands and follows diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as, but not limited to, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms. Replaces or repairs machine belts. Performs these duties with the aid of such equipment as hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
Holds scaffolding members in place or tightens bolts to erect working platforms about machines.
Cleans and lubricates machine parts, such as, but not limited to, shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings, using rags, brushes, grease gun, oil can and other required tools not specifically listed here.
Removes dust, dirt, grease and waste material from machines.
Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
May install and repair electrical systems and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools and electrical and electronic test equipment.
Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation or replacement.
May diagnose/troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures, HVAC systems, using testing equipment, and make necessary repairs, such as replacing damaged or broken wires and cables.
Tests malfunctioning machinery, using test equipment and discusses malfunction with other maintenance employees to diagnose malfunction. Replaces faulty electrical components of machinery, such as wiring, relays, switches, electric motor bearings and motors and positions sensing devices.
May diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as circuit boards, and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Maintains tools and equipment and keeps supplies and parts in order.
May repair electronic equipment such as industrial controls, audio systems, transmitters, and servomechanisms, following blueprints and manufacturers' specifications and using hand tools and test instruments.
Converses with machinery/equipment operators to ascertain problems with machinery/equipment before breakdown and to determine if breakdown is due to human error or mechanical/electrical problems.
Tests faulty machinery/equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic/electrical systems or units to diagnose cause of malfunction.
Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects, using oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters and voltmeters. Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts, using hand tools and soldering iron. Aligns, adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and tests.
Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment, using hand tools. Installs control and distribution components such as switches, relays and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools.
Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads.
Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments, such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer and oscilloscope.
Bends and cuts conduit and wire, and drills holes in walls, floors and ceilings for electrical connections.
Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape.
Bends, cuts and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings and floors for pipes, seals pipe joints with sealing compound.
Performs minor facility repairs
May cut out and join parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other furnishings, using power tools and hand tools.
May be required to assist with plumbing repair work, building construction/remodeling/repairs, general machinery maintenance or repair duties.
May patch or replace plaster or plaster board and paint walls, ceilings and trim of building.
May drill and break up concrete.
May mix and pour concrete for foundations.
Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.
Inspects products and processes while performing job duties to ensure all work done meets or exceeds standards of the company's quality program.
Works cooperatively and congenially with co-workers to achieve cohesive and productive work processes and work environment.
Performs additional tasks as assigned by management or as the situation requires.
High School Diploma or GED required
Specialized Training/Certifications: EPA Certification/Refrigeration training a plus but not required
Knowledge & Experience
Experienced in general mechanical maintenance of production machinery to include reading blue prints, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, ordering machine parts - minimum of three years experience required.
Possess minimum knowledge of electrical wiring repairs and installation, AC/DC controls, blueprints, schematic diagrams, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions regarding procedures required for the various machine repair such as Salvagnini S4 & P4 & P2, Salvagnini Fiber Laser, Prima Power Fiber Lasers, Amada Press Brakes, Cincinnati Press Brakes, Heim Presses, Strippit Punch Presses, Wysong Shear
Ability to read and follow repair or installation instructions.
Ability to use a variety of small hand tools, power tools, scissors lifts, and material handling equipment.
Possess basic mechanical aptitude and ability.
Ability to communicate clearly with co-workers.
Physical Requirements

Constant use of hands and fingers in order to perform repairs, installations, maintenance requests, and other duties as required.

SUMMARY :
The Inspector performs detailed inspection of all finished products per work order/job jacket specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
Primary Responsibilities:
. Performs detailed inspections of ITW Labels finished products or products received from suppliers and subcontractors per approved procedures and work instructions using appropriate specifications and measuring equipment. These inspections include all finished parts from all processes: in sheets or in rolls, sub-panels, and other supplied items.
. Prepare products for movement through the production process through weeding, cutting or other preparation determined by work order/job jacket specifications.
. Communicates any inspection issues in a clear and understandable manner to the supervisor and appropriate personnel.
. Segregates defects according to departmental procedures.
. Operates shrink wrap machine and hand packages product according to customer requirements.
. Marks and labels packages according to customer requirements.
. Performs detailed inspection on samples of finished products for final inspections per approved procedures. These inspections include all finished product prior to shipment to customer.
. Initiates non-conforming material reports as required.
. Completes the C of C (Certificate of Conformance).
. Follows all department work instructions.
. Follows prescribed safety rules and fosters an environment where employee safety is a top priority.
. Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
. Is an active member of the 80-20 team and employs the ITW tool-box to run and improve operations.
OTHER (NON-ESSENTIAL) FUNCTIONS:
Includes functions, which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be assigned to other employees as part of a -Reasonable Accommodation- under the ADA.
. Trains in various quality and production areas to assist as needed.
. Operates finishing machines such as Lamination, Punch-it, De-Slugger, and Rewinder.
. Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to read a blueprint and customer specifications and use ERP systems. Computer skills to include experience working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, any Web Browser, ERP systems, and Access system.

This Corporate Office role supports the Health & Life department in the operations of centralized benefits management for our over 16,000 US employees. Primary Responsibilities
Comply with industry and customer rules of conduct and safety.
Mechanical, Electrical troubleshooting and repair of Hi-Cone carrier application equipment within customers' bottling plants. Machinery ranges from 1980's vintage VFD controlled single motor/mechanical drive machinery to newer multi-axis servo-controlled machinery.
Troubleshoot issues with Hi-Cone carrier and address quality concerns.
Responsibility for Assigned territory including:
Being first contact for customers, even in emergencies
Scheduling your own travel for jobs
Working independently to resolve customers' electrical and mechanical issues
Auditing and overhauling machinery
Installing new machines
Converting machines for new capabilities
Providing customer and internal team training on machine operation and maintenance
Recommending machine upgrades
Attending factory acceptance tests for new machines (when available)
Reporting all equipment safety concerns
Recommending engineering changes when required
Generating accurate documentation including service reports and detailed expense reports on a daily/weekly basis.

Position Objective:
ITW Drawform & Sexton is a $200M USD Division within Illinois Tool Works' Automotive Segment. The Division has been granted a multi-year project that requires an Automation Engineer to help manage the launch and, subsequently, the long-term electric vehicle efforts within the division. This newly created position is a member of ITW Drawform & Sexton Division's new product launch team in the EV market and will require frequent interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. This internship position is located at our Decatur, AL facility which is a world leader in the production of two-piece aerosol cans and deep-drawn metal filter shells for automotive and specialty applications. This position could lead to full time employment after the 12 - 16 week internship period.
This hands-on Automation Engineering Intern role will have responsibility of newly installed automated lines and the responsibility for launching future automated lines within the facility. The scope of the job includes designing automated assembly solutions, setting up the processes and controls, optimizing the processes and maintaining the specific processes. The role will ensure the lines meet production requirements and will liaise with all departments, external contractors and customers. The candidate will work directly with engineers and technicians, and can expect to gain valuable hands-on experience developing industrial control systems and designing electrical control panels that are a critical part of these systems. The intern will benefit from hands on exposure to PLC and HMI (Human Machine Interface) programming.

Primary Objective:
To administer the company logistics function for the timely, accurate, efficient, and economical movement of goods outbound to customers and subsidiaries. Determines transportation requirements for ordering the correct mode and assets to ensure the safe, accurate, and cost effective, timely delivery of MTS shipments. Documentation
Supports and/or coordinates the preparation of documents (i.e., outbound bills of lading, NAFTA certificates, invoices, weigh bills, and Shipper's Letter of Instruction) to support the departmental efforts to process all outgoing shipments in a timely, effective manner by avoiding delivery delays.
Scanning applicable documents (order, Letter of Credit, quote, delivery note, etc.) to ensure we can perform to the needed requirements of the customer, banking, and governmental regulations
Reviews shipping documents to ensure compliance with US and International Compliance Trade organizations.
Support the maintenance of accurate filing systems in a readily accessible manner for all transportation documents to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Cooperates with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable on any requests, ensuring on-time payment by us to service providers as well as timely payments to us from customers.
Services
Coordinates shipment schedules with crating staff, shipping staff and carrier(s) to arrange for pick-up.
Prepares quotations for transportation costs in support of customer quoting activity in sales and marketing divisions usually with vague information at hand so analysis needed to get close quotes
Provides tracking services when requested and expediting services for emergency shipments.
As necessary, performs functions in the packaging area when needed. Provides backup to small parcel area.
Matches incoming invoices with existing documentation to ensure proper assignment of costs.
Gathers necessary documentation and files claims with carriers.
Vendor-Client Relationships
Supports the process of validating rates and charges.
Keeps abreast of changes in U.S. customs operations and procedures.
Performs miscellaneous duties and special assignments as directed.

Division Description:
ITW Body & Fuel NA (BFNA) is a ~$150M division within the ITW Automotive segment. BFNA specializes in the design and manufacturing of interior and exterior automotive components. BFNA products can be found on multiple vehicle platforms specializing in interior door handles and fuel system products.
The Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for top line revenue forecasting and analytics for the BFNA division. This role is on the Division Controller's staff and is the primary liaison between the Commercial and Finance functions to which this role will include dotted line reporting structure to the BFNA Sales & Engineering Director. The Commercial Finance Analyst will be a key contributor to organic growth initiatives and develop deep partnerships and domain expertise with the Commercial group. In addition to the long-term revenue forecasting and analytics, the Commercial Finance Analyst will also be the finance lead on a full suite of commercial finance tools including volume, mix, & price analytics, discounted cash flow modeling of commercial opportunities and sold order/backlog conversion analysis.
. Key Finance contact with management of the forecasting and planning system.
. Manage the data collection and publication of Annual Plan and Long Range Plan (LRP) revenue forecasts by Business Unit.
. Oversee and reconcile the monthly revenue reporting updates based on updates from market research data (i.e. IHS builds).
. Manage customer price recovery reporting, forecasting, and the tracking of the material cost impact to ensure that changes in commodity pricing is continually be monitored and captured with the customer base.
. Perform analytics on the product segmentation mix to assist in the ongoing updates to the divisional Segmented Profit/Loss statement to further assess margin performance and growth opportunities.
. Key Finance contact from a Commercial perspective in the development of financial models/analyses for customer quotes and participate in quote reviews.
. Oversee the planning/reporting of sold orders and the impact on sales incentive plan (SIP) bonuses.
. Produce insight into sold order conversion to revenue to improve overall accuracy/conversion rates.
. Key Finance contact for the preparation of the Commercial Tooling budget and will provide assistance in the preparation of select capital tooling requests.
. Key Finance liaison with the Commercial Team on securing updated customer purchase orders.
. Oversee the preparation of select Commercial financial analysis (i.e. Quarterly Revenue Bridge) and other Annual Plan and LRP reports.
. Recommend ways to improve, simplify, or eliminate tasks in the department.
. Participate in ITW Toolbox Initiatives within the business (80/20, USa, PLS).
Other Commercial focused finance projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
The Press Tool and Die Maker develops tooling requirements based on production needs and provides component design direction and support for current and potential projects/programs involving complex tolerances. Designs, reviews, tests, and maintains manufacturing processes. Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues. Develops, constructs, and alters a wide variety of jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Sharing of knowledge and partnering with other tool makers to train apprentices.
The successful candidate will be able to analyze and understand specifications and tolerances; set up and operate machine tools; study blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualize end-product. Works as a team and independently, handling projects deemed necessary.
Working Requirements:
Employees will be required to work in all areas of the plant; temperatures will vary.
Prolonged standing, crawling, kneeling, and walking while performing job assignments.
Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
Safety toed/ slip-resistant shoes, safety glasses, and earplugs are required on the plant floor.
Minimum of high school education or equivalent or associate's degree; and/or technical training certification and 3 years' experience, which includes apprentice training in mechanical drawing, tool designing, shop theory, blueprint reading, heat treating, and other metalworking with a journeyman tool and die maker is required.
Knowledge in SPC (statistical process control), preferred.
Must possess mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and measuring tools in fitting and assembly operations, as well as operate drill press, manual milling machine, lathe, grinders, and other mechanical equipment.
Knowledge of tool and die design and construction; metal properties; and layout, machining, and assembly procedures.
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with all levels of employees is required.

To effectively maintain the highest level of safety and scrap collection possible. To maintain a clean work environment throughout the warehouse and outside grounds.
Maintain safety throughout the plant.
Optimize the baling efforts by continuing to segregate the clear and color bale materials.
Collect the corrugated material and bale.
Collect paper in gaylords, cans/bottles from breakroom.
Keep collected materials in the supplied trailer whenever possible.
Keep a Bill of Laden of all material going onto the trailer with copies going to the Accounting and to Jadcore with the trailer when picked up.
Notify your team leader or shipping supervisor if a trailer or compactor needs to be removed.
Responsible for cleaning the areas that are used in the plant including the scale area, compactor area, outside dock grounds, storage area and equipment used.
Clean plastics baler between bales so that no cross contamination occurs. Each time the LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-out) procedure should be followed anytime you enter the open side of the balers.
Support the Manteno culture.
Be a part of the team your assigned. Talk with Team Leader daily for any tasks/information that may need.
Go on the production floor and remove any plastic/garbage several times a day.
Sweep your area at least once a day and clean all equipment once a week. Keep desk clean and neat.
Shall support Food Safety Culture activities within the organization in support of Food Safety Management System in accordance with the Food Safety Code for Manufacture of Food Packaging.
Shall acknowledge the Zip-Pak policy of requesting self-reporting of any illness, foodborne pathogens, or diseases which may be transmitted to food products and food contact surfaces that may jeopardize food safety.
Shall be made aware of and support Australia's National Heavy Vehicle Legislation-Chain of Responsibility (CoR) where designated applicable to this position within the COR Program for Zip-Pak support of Australia's CoR Legislation.

SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of ITW Refrigeration's Quality department, ensuring the department is run efficiently and production needs are adequately met and resolved. The Service Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of 3 quality auditors. This role is responsible for the creation and updating of quality work instructions, training documentation for auditors. The quality supervisor is also responsible for reviewing audit data, determining root cause of issues reported and taking corrective action to assure issue will not reoccur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain critical to quality work instruction documents, and use generic work instructions that are developed and maintained by operations to:
Perform audits on production lines using written work instructions.
Have documents updated as needed to improve production processes.
Development and Maintain calibration schedules for equipment.
Direct audit activities, review WIP and FPA data and take corrective action to continuously improve quality of the product
Support production leads and operators for interpretation and methods following set standards
Evaluate and recommend alternative auditing procedures for continuous improvement
Provide technical support for production and service departments to validate field return units.
Testing of nonconformance parts and be responsible to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for 3 quality auditors including training, development, and supervision.
Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources.
