DIVISION DESCRIPTION :
ITW Specialty Films designs, manufactures and markets specialized coated and/or metalized films for the Card, Security, and Medical markets. The division leverages unique core competencies and technologies in films, foils, laminates, holography, and transfers to address customer needs globally. Operates in 5 locations (NA & EU).
The Global Product Manager will profitably grow their strategic vertical markets by developing, implementing, and driving product line strategies and tactical action plans. The role acts as the product line owner, utilizing data to effectively develop and manage the product portfolio strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Define product line's value proposition throughout the organization, ensuring competitive product positioning. This entails full pricing responsibility.
Lead the new product development from concept generation to execution, gathering voice of customers and leverage the information into developing solutions.
Develop and implement product line strategies and associated measurable action plans to capitalize on key growth opportunities.
Effectively collect and synthesize market insights to drive the product lifecycle strategy.
Drive the execution of the new product development roadmap through the stage gate process.
Conduct activities related to the development of business cases for new product innovation and enhancements
Lead and execute new product rollout efforts including forecasting volumes, designing market tests, planning internal training, as well as communication plans.
Manage the financial performance of assigned product categories by utilizing ITW Toolbox and other key performance indicators.
Lead and communicate strategic competitive analysis and marketing assessment.
Evaluate and report on product performance - sales volume, sell through, margins and market share.
Participate in capacity planning efforts working with manufacturing other functional areas.
Develop the annual integrated marketing and segmentation plans.
Supporting our sales team product specific sales pitches and customers meetings
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety directions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or comparable discipline.
4 - 6 years of relevant strategy, product management or marketing experience.
4+ years of marketing experience preferred; new product development experience, from inception to product introduction and full product lifecycle management preferred.
Influences effectively and drives alignment across functions.
Highly skilled at planning and project management.
Experience working with development teams, sales, and operations.
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
Strong communications and presentation skills.
Financial acumen to analyze and report on product line results effectively
Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Power Point
Global work experience is a plus
Working Conditions:
Ability to travel <25% (domestic and international)
Work is normally performed in a typical office environment with little to no exposure to adverse conditions.
Position is based at ITW Headquarters office in Glenview, IL

As a partner to the local management teams, the HRM will drive HR strategy and processes that align with business plans and strategic objectives. . Facilitates talent review activities within assigned client group. Helps administer 9-box assessments with local and functional leaders.
. Supports employee relations matters including ethnic investigations and policy interpretations.
. Provides coaching to local leadership team based on business needs and applicable HR practices.
. Supports Division Safety Leader, supports safety initiatives and drives zero accident safety culture.
. Active role in development of Affirmative Action Plan within the division. Ensures compliance with required legal postings on bulletin boards.
. Manages HR projects which drives Simplification by applying toolbox applications.
. Manages compensation planning for production and technical roles using wage surveys. Applies MTS job banding system to ensure consistency of job grading.
. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.

Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field of study.
. Minimum of 3-5 years in HR Leadership role, preferably experiences in a manufacturing environment.
. Experienced in recruitment, engagement and change management initiatives.
. Strong business partnership capabilities: ability to learn and adapt to our changing business, help assess talent and become familiar with our industry and its implications for our division.
. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Setup of automation for presses or assembly machines, wiring and interfacing.
Set up and debug new automation as needed. Make samples for new items/customers.
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various assembly, automation and mold equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and fill out relevant paperwork. Cross train with molding technicians for mold machine maintenance.
Check and adjust parameters during changeovers and note changes for update.
Clean automation equipment and areas.
Replace worn equipment. Design and fabricate small fixtures for equipment.
Look for methods of improving efficiency and ensure quality standards, as an individual and part of a team.
Assist QA with finding and implementing corrective actions from customer rejections.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and write order requests for replenishment.
Maintain daily log books for each piece of equipment. Document equipment specifications.
Communicate with other shifts, operators, and technicians to give and receive updates on equipment status.
Assist with training new operators.
Assist with making sure supplies and materials are ready for the shift.
Assist mold techs with emptying runners, mold set ups, and setting up new cell production lines.
Support production with an on call status, authorized for a rotating scheduled overtime on weekends.
Physical Requirements
Possess dexterity and flexibility to allow for work around various machines that require crawling, kneeling, reaching, bending and standing. Must be able to stand for a full shift (8 hours).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds sporadically.
Qualifications
HS/GED or Vocational Degree and 4-5 years of experience in a mechanical/robotics setting.
Working knowledge of robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electric systems; sonic welding and injection molding.
Willingness/ability to attend formal training courses to learn PLC programming if needed (employee will be paid for his/her time).

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Senior Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for providing engineering support to Manufacturing. The main responsibility of the Manufacturing Engineer is to focus on continuous improvement and sustainability of equipment and processes in the assembly and molding departments. The individual will provide an advanced level of expertise in manufacturing through planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of assigned responsibilities by coordinating with engineering team members and operations management. The ideal candidate should work well with large amounts of data, have the ability to manage complex projects independently, possess a solid understanding of technical system and understands the importance of meeting deadlines to support larger objectives. Drive and lead improvement projects in all manufacturing processes using the ITW Toolbox, including In-Lining, MRD, PLS and 80/20 evaluations.
Conduct ongoing analyses of products and processes to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
Assist in new product development and modifications and revisions to existing products.
Coordinate and conduct validations (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Lead and support the coordination and implementation of capital projects (Project Management)

Develop and implement work instructions and standardization of processes.
Troubleshoot processes which are prone to be frequent or major production problems.

Provides technical support to manufacturing, engineering, quality, marketing, customer service, and management as needed.
Provides input in budget planning and timelines.
Will participate in -special projects- assignments are required.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health regulations, along with other federal, state, and local regulations regarding environmental, industrial, and electrical mandates.
May provide direction and training to entry level engineers and technicians to strengthen skill sets and assist in the talent development activities to ensure a strong pipeline of engineering talent.

This is a Tampa, FL based position under the direction of Install Team Leader and Service Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with equipment installations and maintenance as required. The candidate will assist with the assembly of equipment and inspect for proper operation, uncrating and moving of equipment into position. The individual will be responsible for driving service and delivery truck to the intended destination to deliver or pick up equipment with the use of a lift-gate. Must also assist other Branch employees and Service Technicians as required. Must be willing to work hours as needed.
What you'll bring to the table:
High School diploma/GED or related experience
3-5 year minimum experience in related field.
Be able to work with mechanical/electrical equipment safely
Basic Knowledge of Welding, Hydraulics and/or Electrical Skills

Essential Functions:
Commitment to a safe work environment
Set up and shut down machine according to specifications of work order.
Works on different types of equipment to carry out a particular phase of the production cycle
Is responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat condition
Must be able to learn to how to operate industrial machines such as extruders, electrical hoist and tower equipment
Performs other responsibilities, projects as assigned.
The ability to work a rotating schedule (one month days, one month nights) 12-hour shifts is required.
Job Requirements:

A10-week program, this internship is designed to leverage the unique ITW Enterprise Strategy across a variety of specialized Accounting responsibilities, in-line with audit requirements and performance expectations.
The Accounting Intern will be responsible for Accounts Receivable tasks, projects, and assisting other functions as assigned. The intern will learn strategies from the ITW Toolbox to use throughout the internship, including Front-to-Back, 80/20, in-lining, and USa. Intern will deliver a USa project in partnership with Staff Accountant that covers the AR cycle from Order-to-Cash (O2C), as well as prepare and present key takeaway and learnings from their time at Valeron.

The manufacturing engineer Intern will work closely with our Maintenance Team and our Process Engineer in a variety of projects including revising and editing technical drawings, assisting with the implementation of Maintenance systems, and supporting continuous improvement in our Manufacturing process. This is a 10-weeks summer internship program schedule from May - August 2022/
Work in close collaboration with our Maintenance Team and our Manufacturing Engineer.
Assist with the development and implementation of our Total Preventive Maintenance System
Document and reorganize engineering drawings for plant equipment and machinery
Develop new engineer drawings as required
Analysis of Plant Maintenance Data.

This position is at our Despatch Industrial Ovens www.despatch.com facility in Lakeville Minnesota.
This position supports Despatch Thermal Processing Technology, specifically high performance industrial ovens and other thermal products. Under general supervision , this individual performs nonroutine and complex design and drafting assignments that require the application of SolidWorks CAD software, or other relevant 3D CAD software, utilizing industry standard drawing techniques. This individual must be capable of designing components and creating preliminary layouts, sketches and notes as necessary to present design proposals.
Essential Functions of the Job (responsibilities):
. Prepares working drawings of subassemblies with irregular shapes, multiple functions, and precise positional relationships between components.
. Prepares equipment drawings for industrial ovens including detail drawings of major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and component parts.
. Working in conjunction with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, may prepare equipment Bills-of-Materials, part numbers, and part details in company MRP system.
. Uses accepted formulas and manuals in making necessary computations to determine quantities of materials to be used, load capacities, strengths, stresses, etc.
. Completed work is checked for technical accuracy
Skills Required:
. Associate degree in Engineering and minimum 6-8 years of related experience.
. Experience with sheet metal design preferred
. Experience with SolidWorks CAD package, or equivalent. Knowledge of other CAD packages is a plus.
. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
. Computer skills should include basic PC operation within a MS Windows environment, including Word and Excel.

Normal working conditions involve seated computer work and occasional operation and work on company equipment/products.

Position Summary:
The Strategic Account Manager - Construction reports directly to the Director of Sales. This position involves meeting or exceeding revenue targets in Valron's waterproofing and construction segment by leveraging a technical solution based sales approach along with strategic planning processes for key accounts. With a strong understanding of the market, competition, and in depth technical knowledge of Valron's largest market segment, you will lead the development of market focused sales and product strategies designed to grow our current 80 customers and develop new customers.
This role will also be key in defining, developing, and delivering Valron's value proposition to the market and our target customers. The strategic account manager is also responsible for gathering, understanding and clearly communicating customer requirements to the organization. As the internal market and customer expert, you will represent the voice of customer in Valron's efforts to develop new productions through customer back innovation. Moreover, they will develop and execute strategies necessary to consistently and predictably deliver above market growth.
This key sales position represents Valron Strength Films in Associations and Trade Organizations in North America; and communicates with Customer Service Representatives, Technical Services & Product Development personnel, as well as other managers in all operations and support departments. He / She will assist in resolving all customer complaints.

Meet and Exceed Revenue Goals:
Consistently and predictably deliver revenue growth in line with agreed upon growth target
Partner with our largest customers to secure volume and effectively manage pricing
Understand Valron's value proposition and partner with 80 customers to deliver growth

Develop market intelligence and expertise in key construction end markets
Monitor, study and report on key market trends and make recommendations for growth
Understand Valeron's addressable market and find growth opportunities
Understand our customers end markets, sales strategies and channels
Identify and recommend growth strategies based on customer and market experience
Enterprise Strategy & 80/20 Objectives:
Develop an understanding of the 80/20 principle and ability for effective execution
Leverage Valeron's 80 products for future growth with targeted customers
Understand when it is appropriate to grow or eliminate lower volume products
Be able to effectively communicate changes in product and market strategy
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemical or Polymers Science focus preferred.
3 - 5 years of progressive technical sales experience with solutions-based selling, focus and key account relationships.
Demonstrated history of delivering above market organic growth through specific customer focused activities led by specific and targeted sales activities.
Technical selling experience and analytical acumen required; experience with construction material manufacturing and selling (ideally in waterproofing).
Strategic thinking with ability to accelerate and influence change preferred.
Experience with working within a defined sales process and account management framework with some CRM management related experience focused on detailed opportunity, forecasting and outlook for sales responsibility.
Proven ability to properly qualify a commercial opportunity and develop commercial strategy based upon internal and external dynamics.
Strong skill set related to communication of value proposition, differentiation and key selling points.
Proven experience in negotiating and closing multi-million dollar projects inclusive of financial due diligence, terms and conditions and purchase contracts within company guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to produce results within a team environment and to gain alignment and develop productive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Excellent time management, prioritization abilities and project management.

This engineering role is responsible for leading tech brick (innovation) projects and participating in the design and development of cordless and pneumatic power fastening tools primarily used for wood and concrete applications. The candidate will contribute to setting project team priorities and engage in product design activity aimed at meeting defined schedule, marketing and manufacturing requirements by applying engineering expertise, technical creativity and problem solving skills.
Role/Responsibilities:
Provides technical leadership for product development teams and utilizes project management skills to define and manage resources and execute to achieve required outcomes.
Collaborate with marketing, purchasing, manufacturing and other departments to construct project scope and determine costs and manufacturing feasibility.
Initiate concept designs based on customer feedback, communicate those designs to other team members and develop those designs on 3D CAD. Utilize feedback from team members and external customers to adapt and improve product design to meet development objectives.
Perform critical analysis on design (DFMEA, Design of Experiments).
Communicate design requirements to other team members and evaluate designs to ensure project trajectory is consistent with product specifications.
Responsible for all aspects of the design, layout (design integration), evaluation and documentation of electro-mechanical devices or system used on power fastening systems.
Manage the production of prototypes, test units and subsequent manufacturing and testing to meet quality standards and planned schedules for delivery within target cost parameters.
Recommend, implement and track performance of design modifications to eliminate product or system malfunctions.
Select and implement appropriate manufacturing processes and vendors to ensure cost-effective, robust products that achieve market success.
At this level, assignments can be complex and will require use of initiative and judgment.
BS in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering (Master's Preferred).
8+ years of relevant product design and development experience required.
CAD Design/Modeling tools (preferred Pro/Engineer CREO-4).
Finite Element Analysis, Statistics & Dynamics.
Demonstrated design capability, problem solving skills and the ability to understand and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment.
Experience in Matlab/numerical computing tools is a plus.
Exposure of project management and technical leadership is a plus.
