This engineering role is responsible for leading tech brick (innovation) projects and participating in the design and development of cordless and pneumatic power fastening tools primarily used for wood and concrete applications. The candidate will contribute to setting project team priorities and engage in product design activity aimed at meeting defined schedule, marketing and manufacturing requirements by applying engineering expertise, technical creativity and problem solving skills.
Role/Responsibilities:
Provides technical leadership for product development teams and utilizes project management skills to define and manage resources and execute to achieve required outcomes.
Collaborate with marketing, purchasing, manufacturing and other departments to construct project scope and determine costs and manufacturing feasibility.
Initiate concept designs based on customer feedback, communicate those designs to other team members and develop those designs on 3D CAD. Utilize feedback from team members and external customers to adapt and improve product design to meet development objectives.
Perform critical analysis on design (DFMEA, Design of Experiments).
Communicate design requirements to other team members and evaluate designs to ensure project trajectory is consistent with product specifications.
Responsible for all aspects of the design, layout (design integration), evaluation and documentation of electro-mechanical devices or system used on power fastening systems.
Manage the production of prototypes, test units and subsequent manufacturing and testing to meet quality standards and planned schedules for delivery within target cost parameters.
Recommend, implement and track performance of design modifications to eliminate product or system malfunctions.
Select and implement appropriate manufacturing processes and vendors to ensure cost-effective, robust products that achieve market success.
At this level, assignments can be complex and will require use of initiative and judgment.
BS in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering (Master's Preferred).
8+ years of relevant product design and development experience required.
CAD Design/Modeling tools (preferred Pro/Engineer CREO-4).
Finite Element Analysis, Statistics & Dynamics.
Demonstrated design capability, problem solving skills and the ability to understand and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment.
Experience in Matlab/numerical computing tools is a plus.
Exposure of project management and technical leadership is a plus.
Domestic and Internationaltravel: 10-15%

About the opportunity:
The Installation team lead will be responsible for overseeing a crew in the installation of various components for food equipment to include adjusting, aligning, assembling, calibrating, inspecting, lubricating and testing of commercial food prep equipment, electrical/mechanical and electronics troubleshooting The selected candidate will comply with all applicable service policies and procedures, maintain frequent contact with the office to receive service assignments and review service problems with advisor, or manager. Must be available for overtime and on-call schedule.
Some of the key activities that you will perform in this role are:
Work on-site to set up, program, dismantle and reconstruct equipment when necessary
Contact customers prior to installation date to verify schedule
Provide guidance and coaching to installers as it relates to work assignments: specific work steps, proper use of tools, machinery and overall job performance
Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in products and service; provide superior customer service by working out solutions in the best interest of the customer
Maintain vehicle inventory and appearance
What you'll bring to the table:
Accredited High School diploma, Business or trade school or GED
6+ years of experience in commercial install experience
Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude; to include Welding, Hydraulics and/or Electrical Skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and able to drive multiple hours per day
Able to travel and complete company training; class, audio/video, field
Ability to operate hand and power tools; read blueprints and schematic drawings
Understand How to Troubleshoot Mechanical Problems

The District Manager 1 is responsible and accountable for leading and directing their multiple assigned branch operations to achieve ongoing service revenue growth, profitability, productivity, quality, and service levels. This position will be responsible for the management and administration of general business operations for their branch. Minimum Requirements:

The person in this role will perform a variety of duties associated with the dispatching functions in order to provide prompt and efficient service to our customers. There will be frequent contact with Branch employees and constant contact with customers and other outside personnel, requiring more than ordinary courtesy and tact to establish and maintain good customer relations. You will have occasional work with confidential data where the effect of any disclosure may have an impact on the business.
General Duties:
Answer all incoming telephone service requests and log customer service calls with all pertinent information in system.
Schedule service calls to techs and supply information needed by Service Tech, and determine priorities to be assigned to service calls.
Maintain follow up system for parts ordered by Service Techs to ensure complete customer satisfaction per company policies and guidelines.
Maintain Inspection List, Automatic Scale. Wrapper and General Line.
Maintain File of Equipment.This could include calling customers concerning estimates for overhauls, prices for new equipment, and completion of services.
Perform clerical functions, as necessary, such as assisting with tracking of consignment, assisting walk-in customers, shipping/receiving, handling phone calls for supervisor, etc.
Train or cross train other employees as requested.
Follow up on completed service calls to verify customer satisfaction and promote service contracts.
Print out and mail invoices
Do 3rd party billing
Schedule PM's
Prepare quotes for repairs.

The Service Manager will provide support to the Branch Manager and will be required to assume advanced responsibilities in support of the branch and its daily operations. This position will provide support in the terms of the overall branch and individual service technicians by providing coaching and training on commercial food equipment, procedures, and techniques as well as customer facing skillsets.
The Service Manager will also be required to support and enforce all company policies and guidelines required by Hobart Service and assist the Branch Manager in the adherence and tracking of these policies. The Service Manager is accountable for assisting in leading and directing their assigned branch operations to achieve ongoing service revenue growth, profitability, productivity, quality, and service levels.
This position will be responsible for assisting of the management and administration of general business operations for their branch. This position provides strategic leadership as well as the day to day management of a team of Field Service Technicians and lower-level supervisory staff (where applicable).
Responsibilities include developing, maintaining and managing a highly technical field service team. Our Field Service Technicians are accountable for customer commercial food service equipment installations, preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades and updates, sales support for new systems, establishing and growing customer relationships, and creating and implementing a strategy focused on achieving/exceeding financial and customer satisfaction results. High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of relevant experience, including supervision OR 1-3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree
Experience effectively managing customer relations dealing directly with customers
Ability to effectively demonstrate productivity tools, i.e. Microsoft Office
Achieve targets and goals with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills verbal and written
Electrical and mechanical service experience
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
5-7 years demonstrated proficiency in a field service role

This position performs daily standard work as it pertains to tactical purchasing activities, including but not limited to monitoring RFQ and PO requisition queues including MRP, PO placement, PO management and PO closure. The position is responsible for executing through multiple purchasing avenues including suppliers, distribution, 3rd party and outsourcing and fabrication.
Analyze all open requirements/requisitions and generate Purchase Orders in response to customer orders, inventory stocking requirements, nonstock, -made to order- components, forecasts, production needs and other authorized purchase requests. Execute stock, nonstock, and -made to order- requirements in accordance with standard procedures. Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals and perform negotiations with the supplier to acquire best pricing and on time delivery terms to quality specifications. Ensure that all Purchase Order transactions are complete, accurate and timely in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, SOX and ITW policies and procedures.
Manage open Purchase Orders and maintain a continuous effort to eliminate material shortages, deferring or canceling purchase orders as required, based on schedule and/or inventory changes. Work with Inventory Control in support of achievement of objectives like inventory accuracy, inventory turns, excess/obsolete minimization, safety stock, and min/max optimization.
Responsible for coordination, communication, tracking and resolution of all Supplier nonconformance issues that may arise with Purchase Orders including delivery, quantities, invoicing, quality, BOM accuracy and pricing discrepancy resolution.
Responsible for management of assigned suppliers and commodities to ensure understanding of clear performance expectations including but not limited to on time delivery, stock outs, cost savings and nonconformance. Regularly track, evaluate, and report supplier quality and performance benchmarks and risks associated with parts delivery, contracts/agreements, and conduct ongoing audits of pricing, quality, lead times.
Establish excellent partnerships with suppliers that delivery innovative solutions, resources and alternative supply options when needed. Conduct supplier audits and business reviews to keep abreast of changes in supplier's organization and market conditions of the commodities they serve. Identify and execute improvement opportunities through both process improvements and relationship improvement.

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President Service Parts, the Strategic Procurement Manager is responsible for developing, proposing, implementing, and reviewing programs to establish strategic partnerships in support of the Food Equipment Group and Division's sourcing and purchasing needs. These activities ensure the Company's business units benefit from total leverage in the most cost effective and efficient methods of sourcing and procurement possible and measure the effectiveness of these strategies. This role will also be responsible for directing and facilitating a large, cross-functional, multi-business unit Council that is tasked with leveraging the company's total spend for categories affecting FEG Group and Division such as Casting, Printed Circuit Boards, OEM Components, Outsourced Manufacturing and others. Additionally, this role will be liaison to Corporate Sourcing Council & Food Equipment Group-wide focused on Electrical & Electronics (primary category) and support other NA Service 80's spend categories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Champion a strategic sourcing process that will substantially reduce total procurement costs while achieving service parts quality, performance, and delivery expectations for internal and external customers (25% of time spend performing this duty)
Utilize a -Supplier Scorecard- to manage key suppliers ensuring they meet quality and service requirements while maintaining competitive prices. Evaluate and lead commodity to enhance supplier performance, monitor supplier activity relative to pricing, contractual obligation, delivery, scheduling, and productivity. (20% of time spent performing this duty)
Coordinate overall data collection and bid processes, including determination of comparison of services and products offered from a sourcing perspective, supplier outreach and establishing a bid list, data collection and RFQ process, evaluation of proposals with the business units to identify best business solution (20% of time spent performing this duty)
Design and execute the group's strategic sourcing initiatives, including supply market analysis, strategy development, management of requests for proposal, and supplier negotiations (15% of time spent performing this duty)
Interface and act as the liaison between business units/supply base management and the supplier(s) while the strategic sourcing agreement is being implemented (10% of time spent performing this duty
Support FEG Directors with key categories initiatives. They will lead or support different category projects that will impact multiple FEG Divisions operation and sourcing initiatives. (10% of time spent performing this duty)

SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Representative (RSR) is a consultative sales role responsible for working with the end users and all levels of the Distributor network to pull through profitable business with targeted accounts. The RSR is responsible for territory management, identifying and qualifying customer's needs, developing new sales opportunities, and optimizing existing accounts to increase product market share and new product sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for total sales of assigned product segment and skus within a defined territory. Industrial MRO: LPS, Dykem, SCRUBS, Dymon and Spray Nine. Meet or exceed sales plan for the defined territory for the sales period.
Distribution Partners (regional and branch locations):
Strategy - Develop and document a strategic vision to partner with -80- distributor locations to organically grow revenue with them within the assigned territory
Execution - Provide appropriate education, engage in ride alongs, complete business reviews, exhibit at open houses, develop co-op marketing programs in tandem with Marketing to drive top of mind behavior at the distributor.

Qualifications

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager - Parts, the Parts Product Line Manager is responsible for the entire parts product portfolio strategy to include individual service parts and service parts kits for both FEG/ITW parts and competitive parts. The parts product portfolio strategy includes management of pricing, kitting, product differentiation analysis, refurbishment programs, part lifecycle management, and equipment end of life. The Parts Product Line Manager provides leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of Product Managers and analysts to achieve the stated growth goals for the parts business. This leader also provides technical leadership for all parts related issues and owns the relationship between the Hobart Parts team and the Hobart equipment engineering teams.
Provides leadership and direction to Product Manager's efforts to develop, communicate, and implement product policies and pricing strategies to drive sales growth while achieving or exceeding parts profitability targets. Manage, communicate, and implement price adjustments based on market data and corporate goals as required.
Guide Product Managers in their efforts to define the parts product line portfolio strategy to include recommendations on parts sales categories (individual piece parts, sub-assemblies, and parts kits) as well as management of the parts item master to ensure integrity of all parts data in the system. Develop the process to profitably manage a parts refurbishment program. Identify opportunities to offer a parts refurbishment program for high value parts that drive increased revenue and margin for Hobart Service while driving a lower owning and operating cost to the end customer. Create impactful messaging enable sales and marketing efforts to demonstrate the increased value of using ITW/FEG parts to end customers.
Facilitate development and implementation of high impact and differentiated product positioning through competitive analysis studies, feature/benefit analysis and documentation, and identification of opportunities for use of proprietary and semi-proprietary parts. Monitor marketplace trends regarding customer's needs (VOC) and competitive pressures for both competitive parts suppliers (generics) and competitive equipment.
Working through the individual Product Managers, proactively manage the end-to-end management of the product lifecycle from pre-product launch through the end of life of parts and service support. Understand the equipment parts consumption model and align with materials management to have the proper quantity of parts to support the equipment aligned with the installed base and expected replacement cycle / end of useful life of individual components.
Provide leadership in efforts to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with all ITW Food Equipment groups including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, product management, field support, training, logistics, and field service offices.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant product management, technical marketing, or engineering experience is required.

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Analyst assists with all Distribution Center and Field based Inventory Control initiatives. The Inventory Analyst leverages the available data to understand trends, identify anomalies, and provide recommendations for inventory centric endeavors. Their research and insights contribute towards providing the highest parts availability and service levels within organizational standards. The Analyst is also tasked with developing inventory tools to assist both the Piqua Distribution Center and Field parts personnel in stocking decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Inventory-Based Recommendations. (25% of time spent performing this duty)
Leverage available data to understand trends, identify anomalies, and provide recommendations for inventory-centric endeavors.
Advise and assist in parts-related projects across the business.
Drive towards the highest parts availability and service levels within organizational standards.
Execute Piqua MinMax & Stock Status Assignments. (25% of time spent performing this duty)
On a regular basis, run report that calculates new MinMax levels and Stock Status assignments.
Analyze the report's results to check for accuracy, account for exceptions, and understand the financial impact.
Bulk load the final determinations into D365.
Develop Tools and Generates Reports Across Organization. (25% of time spent performing this duty)
Assist other departments (both in Piqua and the Field) by pulling ad-hoc reports or by developing refreshable tools meant for repeated use.
Tools and reports tend to be related to inventory, but the requests can touch on all aspects of the business.
Monitor Health of the Hobart Parts Business. (15% of the time spent performing this duty)
Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to develop, maintain, and review dashboards that convey the health of the Hobart Parts business.
Investigate situations and provide aid to any department where the health begins to show a decline.
Drive System Maintenance and Upkeep. (10% of time spent performing this duty)
Maintain inventory processes in the D365 ERP.
Review, communicate, and/or resolve system errors daily.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in supply management, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager - Parts, the Sales Channel Manager builds, maintains, and expands relationships with various channel partners to support aggressive growth in the aftermarket parts sales business. The main objective for the Sales Channel Manager is to drive increased parts sales revenue while maintaining or growing margin. The Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and channel partner recruitment objectives, as well as growth through key account sales and sales through the Hobart Parts online webstore. The Channel Manager supports the entire range aftermarket parts sales and customer segments to drive growth through the Hobart Parts webstore, Key/National Accounts, Service Contractors, Distributors, Hobart Equipment dealers, Independent Service Contractors, and other direct sales opportunities, as well as OTC (Over the Counter) sales via the Hobart Service Branch locations.
This position will require a high-energy, results driven individual that is equipped to take on all growth initiatives for the Parts division, develop strategic business plans, and oversee performance and productivity of functional personnel to achieve results. Applicants must have proven ability to create and sustain an environment that supports shared risk-taking, along with the ability to discern when a deep dive into the business is necessary to drive actions to achieve results. This leader will drive and motivate a team to establish and implement parts sales growth initiatives, policies, and agreements to increase parts sales and profitability, and is responsible for developing, proposing, and implementing strategic partnerships with key channel partners in support of the Food Equipment Group and Division's revenue growth objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The FEG Parts business is positioned for strong market growth. The Sales Channel Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a revenue growth plan to significantly increase the ITW/FEG parts market penetration. This leader is responsible for profitable revenue growth through existing and new sales channels utilizing the ITW 80/20 FTB methodologies. This is a critical role for the parts business, and is responsible to provide leadership, guidance, and direction to achieve annual revenue growth. Key deliverables for the Sales Channel Manager are:
Drive Revenue Growth: Responsible for creation and implementation of business development objectives and strategies. Provide direct influence and leadership for the North American parts market through all sales channels (Hobart Branch sales, Distribution sales, Equipment Dealer sales, Service Contractor Sales, Key/National account sales, and sales through the Hobart on-line parts store. Develop and maintain performance metrics for all parts sales channels to create focus and drive continuous improvement. Prepare aftermarket parts financial plan and monthly orders and shipments outlook. Achieve outlook for sales and margin goals. Partners with Equipment and Service Sales Management to develop relevant, timely and successful sales plans, campaigns, programs, and special promotions to drive parts revenue growth.
Drive Strategic Channel Management: Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Effectively manage the aftermarket parts distribution, dealer, ISP, and Hobart Service Branch network to influence part demand and support business growth with a focus in marketing, training, and product specification. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis. Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations. Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts. Develop and lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Proactively assess, clarify, and validate channel partner needs on an ongoing basis. Ensure compliance with all channel partner agreements and expectations. Manage potential channel conflict by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to sales channel rules of engagement. Maintain face-to-the-customer contact to support distribution and dealer network with product, process, promotions, and training. Become a liaison between Parts main strategic plan and our customer's needs. Provide leadership parts marketing campaign development and implementation. Leverage Hobart service branches and service contractors to implement growth campaigns.
Provide a positive customer service experience for all Hobart Parts channel partners: Provide leadership and guidance in developing and nurturing relationships with all channel partners and channel partner customers. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. Ensure appropriate resources are available to provide world-class support to channel partners that is aligned with changing requirements and market trends. Develop, recommend, and implement process and system enhancements designed to streamline channel performance and capability with focus on continuous improvement.
Develop and Maintain Channel Specific Market and Industry Analysis: Lead research initiatives to better understand parts competitiveness, market share, and distributor/dealer performance helping to influence development of future products and services and business growth. Effectively research market and industry trends providing critical intelligence for strategic planning. Develop a Total Market Potential Model to understand overall market size and available -white space- to grow parts sales within each channel. Develop voice-of-the-customer (VOC) feedback process for channel partners to prioritize tactical and strategic initiatives driving customer focused solutions. Collect and document the Voice of the Business (VOB) to address needs for internal customers and process partners including equipment groups, service sales, national accounts, and Hobart Service branch offices.

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities and carries out these responsibilities in accordance with the ITW's policies and applicable laws. This position will have global/regional/local responsibilities for developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies for assigned commodities and categories. Responsible for executing the sourcing strategies in accordance with the ITW 5 Step Sourcing Process helping to ensure delivery of highest quality and lowest total cost solutions. This role will forecast and report economic savings performance, negotiate price reductions or increases, drive long term agreements, market test, award new business to maximize leverage, and analyze various reports to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities. Additionally, the sourcing specialist will support special projects as necessary to assist in delivering commodity goals. This role is approximately 70% Strategic / 30% Operational focusing on Commodity Strategy, Benchmarking, Sourcing Council preparations, mid to upper management presentations, resourcing as needed, Technical Cost reductions, Warranty agreements, managing supplier financial distress, and coordination with global teams. Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management including addressing nonconformance and capacity constraints. Identify new opportunities while leveraging sourcing, strategic planning, commodity expertise, supplier selection, negotiation, and risk management skills. This position must have strong analytical, negotiation and relationship building skills in a fast-paced environment.
Develop & execute category management strategies, based on organizational requirements to align with current and future market conditions to provide top-line value, improvement to the total cost of ownership model, decrease supply disruption risk, and improve supply chain agility. Manage the RFP process. Prepare the request, select participants, review proposals, negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers, and award the business based on Total Cost of Ownership analyses. Negotiates, implement, and manage LTA's (long term agreements) while achieving commercial savings and raw material recovery to meet or exceed parts cost and total cost reduction objectives and while supporting organizational initiatives. Facilitate supplier/engineering VA/VE activities to drive product cost savings and process improvement initiatives to achieve budget performance. Collaborate with and participate with colleagues across the Enterprise to ensure strategies are aligned with company goals and objectives. As requested, present category management strategies to department and senior leadership.
Develop market intelligence within assigned categories including industry trends, global pricing, lead times, technology and manufacturing capability of suppliers, supply/demand market volatility, cost drivers (raw material pricing, tariffs), material indexes, benchmarks, and mergers & acquisitions in the industry to mitigate supply and cost risk. Research and understand shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers that may affect overall supplier performance and/or result in purchase price variance. Identify potential hedging opportunities and communicate potential opportunities and risks to Strategic Procurement Manager.
Develop and manage supplier relationships which deliver reliable product supply and total cost effectiveness while meeting or exceeding all customer service, compliance, product requirements, and key performance metrics. Manage supplier performance with feedback through monthly scorecards to mitigate risk, support performance improvement, and proactively identify issues. Act as a trusted business advisor by managing and driving resolution of supplier issues and escalating as needed. Effectively lead supplier business meetings with strategic partners and preferred suppliers to drive business value. Arrange and conduct regular Top2Top meetings with suppliers and stakeholders. Involve other functional partners to resolve issues and drive continued supplier development. Influence supplier segmentation within categories and develop risk mitigation plans. Develop strategic partners that will provide ITW Hobart Parts with additional resources, innovation, and a competitive edge.
Collaborate with Product Management team in support of new product launch initiatives to develop and implement cost reduction and sourcing strategies for service parts to meet program timing, cost, quality, delivery, and strategic objectives.

You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration.
You will typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
What you'll bring to the table:
An accredited High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of electrical and mechanical experience
Refrigeration experience preferred but not required
You must have a valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required
You must be able to attend our industry leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH
