Must understand the use and purpose of signature cards and the support documents that accompany them on the job.

Principal Specialist, Contracts
Position Type - On-Site
Position Location - Jacksonville, FL
Responsibilities:
Responsible for negotiation and formation of contracts between KBR and its external government and commercial customers. Negotiate contract terms to reflect business strategy.
Processes proposals for new contract awards and modifications to existing contracts. Entertain proposal audits conducted by government audit agencies.
Reviews contract performance requirements and coordinate with project managers to ensure contracts are executed in accordance with governmental regulations, customer specifications, and that services and products are delivered on time and within budget.
Manages and processes Contractor Performance Assessment Reports (CPARs) that are generated in the Government Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). Coordinates with technical program managers to submit rebuttals to CPARs if applicable. Upload formal KBR responses to the Government's report ratings into the CPARS (reporting system).
Initiates internal documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.
Completes mandatory recurring/nonrecurring KBR issued operational training.
Performs additional contracts administration tasks as required.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Typically requires a college or university degree in Business, or related field and 10+ to 15 years of relevant experience.
Must have extensive working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
