Job Description:
Defines, establishes, and influences business strategy and strategic initiatives that drive business performance. Drives execution of key strategic initiatives. Leads reporting and analytical efforts to deepen understanding of business economics, client attrition, client profitability, etc. and manages business development process. Executes business/strategic planning process across sub-lines of business including management of strategic reviews by senior leadership. Partners with key stake holders in the design, development, execution and continuous improvement of LOB reporting and dashboards.

We are looking for an experienced strategic leader to help deliver a five-year road map of change that will build fraud resilient products and experiences, simplify our end-to-end platforms, and accelerate detection using data and advanced analytics.
The role requires a strategic mindset, an ability to understand technology development, transformation and change management at scale, a strong customer service mindset and an ability to leverage data to manage transparently, identify risks and drive consistent delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving both client and employee experience and a background in managing process/ product/ transformational change. This leader will report to the Client Protection Shared Services (CPSS) Executive and partner with CPSS leaders, the Client Protection (CP) leadership team, Data Digital and Marketing, and Global Technology to:
- Function as the key liaison and leader between Client Protection and Client Protection Shared Services to prioritize and drive all change and transformation across CP
- Lead a team of -theme- managers to deliver all tech and non-tech transformation across CP (on time/ on budget/ on benefit); key themes include: Authentication, Sponsored by Others (e.g. digital and product initiatives, Claims, Fraud Investigations, AML, Digital Self-service, Data, etc.)
- Position yourself as a thought leader for all change, sequencing, prioritization and risk management around our change
- Own and manage a single CPSS intake process and infrastructure sequencing all -in year- projects
- Leverage data and analytics to communicate, monitor and sequence all change
- Oversee business case development and benefit tracking (partnering with theme managers, forecasters, LOB SMEs and project execution to ensure all forecasts are accurate and successes or failures are tracked)
- Vendor Management
Responsibilities:
Developing advanced technical documentation for an array of internally- and vendor-developed models ranging from regression to sophisticated techniques including XGB and neural networks
Working closely with developers to understand how the model works and provide effective challenge to not only push back on methodology but also ensure results are accurate
Partnering with technology and model users to schedule deployments and planning ahead for future model installations
Working with independent model risk management, legal and compliance teams to ensure models are fully validated and approved for usage
Producing analytics to ensure early model results look consistent with expectations
Conducting regular model monitoring and sharing performance results and analytical insights with model stakeholders and users
Supporting Bank policy for Artificial Intelligence models and ensuring any risks of using advanced techniques are identified and mitigated
Tracking model changes after deployment and ensure appropriate documentation reflects any adjustments, patches or updates
Driving model performance analytics above and beyond Model Risk Management policy requirements, including granular performance monitoring, early trend detection, root cause analysis, and gap analysis

Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing, monitoring, and documenting credit risk for a portfolio of clients. Key responsibilities include monitoring changes in credit profiles, compliance with credit agreements as well as structuring and underwriting new financing solutions across the Global Banking and Markets product spectrum. Job expectations may include assessing risk solutions which adhere to the bank's risk appetite and risk strategies and coaching and leading team members.
The Senior Credit Officer will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients, which includes conducting financial analysis, tracking portfolio company performance, assessing ongoing creditworthiness and assisting in the origination, negotiation and structuring of senior bank debt and related credit products. The Senior Credit Officer will be expected to build extensive knowledge of each client drawing upon in-depth research and industry expertise. As a member of Enterprise Credit, you will work closely with professionals throughout Risk and Global Banking and Markets, particularly colleagues in Corporate Banking / Relationship Management, Trading (primarily FX and Interest Rate Swaps), Treasury Management and Syndications (investment grade and leveraged finance). Oversees and assesses the credit worthiness of borrowers based on due diligence findings, financial statement analysis, forecasting, analysis of company and industry risks, terms and conditions, and relationship profitability to provide high quality credit approval to Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Treasury
Exercises Delegated Approval Authority using sound judgment and expertise to make approval decisions for the business including new lending limits, structuring and negotiating deal terms, credit worthiness, annual reviews and renewals, risk ratings, and breach actions
Acts as a senior coverage team resource supporting ongoing credit matters and asset quality, maintaining adherence to the bank's risk appetite and risk strategies to mitigate losses while identifying opportunities to responsibly growing the loan portfolio
Leads new credit originations in coordination and collaboration with the coverage teams including Relationship Managers, Risk, Syndications, Treasury, and all other product partners
Negotiates and structures legal documentation related to loans and derivatives
Establishes appropriate internal risk ratings for clients and implements accurate adjustments throughout the client's credit life cycle

This is a Business Control Manager focusing on driving execution of control enhancements within Preferred Banking & Investments. Key focus of this role is to partner with business and support teams for prioritizing, sponsoring and implementing multiple and varied change initiatives driven by regulators, 2nd Line of Defense, Business and Controls. Through identification of control opportunities, formulation of effective solutions, alignment of strategies and execution of the portfolio of initiatives, this high-level individual contributor will drive effective risk management within the Preferred Business.

This leader will report to the Client Protection Shared Services (CPSS) Executive and partner with CPSS leaders, the Client Protection (CP) leadership team, Data Digital and Marketing, and Global Technology to:

- Oversee business case development and benefit tracking (partnering with theme managers, forecasters, LOB SMEs and project execution to ensure all forecasts are accurate and successes or failures are tracked)

Responsibilities:
Developing advanced technical documentation for an array of internally- and vendor-developed models ranging from regression to sophisticated techniques including XGB and neural networks
Working closely with developers to understand how the model works and provide effective challenge to not only push back on methodology but also ensure results are accurate
Partnering with technology and model users to schedule deployments and planning ahead for future model installations
Working with independent model risk management, legal and compliance teams to ensure models are fully validated and approved for usage
Producing analytics to ensure early model results look consistent with expectations

The Liquidity Product Team in GPS is responsible for managing over $500B of corporate and commercial deposits across ~40 different currencies. This is a Business Control Manager focusing on driving execution of control enhancements within Preferred Banking & Investments. Key focus of this role is to partner with business and support teams for prioritizing, sponsoring and implementing multiple and varied change initiatives driven by regulators, 2nd Line of Defense, Business and Controls. Pay range
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Formulaic incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees are eligible for incentives as detailed by the specific line of business incentive plan provisions. Senior level engineer able to provide technical leadership and delivery strategy for Application Delivery Services to align business requirements to technical solutions to improve availability, functionality, and security.
Working with lines of business to translate/align business requirements for delivery of the ADS services.

Experience with other equivalent Application Delivery Controller such as Avi Networks, Citrix, etc.

Connects provisioned data across multiple sources and performs necessary transformations utilizing both technical, business, and process knowledge to transform data into meaningful values and insights
Performs quantitative techniques and analysis on customer, transaction, and performance data with the guidance from other analysts and supervisors, based on questions provided by business partners, and provides actionable insights for business partners to make informed decisions.
Follows requirements developed by other analysts and supervisors to perform required research, analytics, and exploration on appropriate and accurate data sources to provide appropriate deliverables
Communicates complex subjects in a simple and engaging manner to non-technical and technical business partners using software such as Power Point, Word, Excel, and Tableau
Assists with conducting quality comparison checks on analysis output and escalates data inconsistencies, gaps, or issues to leadership
Follows quality workflow process and documentation requirements to adhere to standards and provide business continuity
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in applied data science, quantitative research or related role including projects
Strong programming skills e.g. Python, SAS, SQL or other languages
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience extracting and merging data from different database environments, including Hadoop
Ability to manipulate data from structured and unstructured sources
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-consequence environment
