You have extensive experience working within Cvent for the management of venue proposals and event budgets. Your responsibilities Initiate vendor contact for information and pricing on assigned meetings using e-RFP tool. Prepare, analyze and present overall venue availability report to the client. Making appropriate recommendations of properties based on overall program specifications. Negotiate the best deals for our clients and generate venue contracts. Understand client needs, client's organizational preferences, procurement practices, norms and expectations. Ensure no detail is left out. Ensure meeting information is updated and recorded, keeping database accurate. Prepare estimated budgets and communicate information to client and throughout the sourcing and negotiation process. Track and document detailed spend & savings for each negotiated venue contract. Build and maintain positive supplier relationships. Track and manage all venue commission invoices and payments. Be organized, adaptable, able to work under strict deadlines, and a self-starter.
You're good at Working within Cvent for managing venue proposals and event budget tracking. Negotiating rates, concessions and the terms of venue contracts. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
