CACI is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to support our intelligence customer in St Louis, MO/Springfield, VA. As a team, we will be responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities deployed across multiple security domains utilizing Agile scrum methodologies. Tailoring cutting-edge solutions to unique requirements of our clients, we will support multiple tenants deploy a myriad of application stacks and data services. HOW A CLOUD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customer's technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and Maintain Platform as a Service Offering using RedHat OpenShift

• Work with A&A Team to maintain security requirements for operation of systems.

• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies/authentication/search, etc)

• Produce detailed documentation.

• Maintain System in AWS environment using EC2, S3, ELB, and RDS

• Maintain System in a VMware vSphere environment, using NSX, and NetApp Storage GRID

• Automate and optimize service deployments.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

• 3+ years IT experience

• 3+ years experience with Platform as a Service Offerings (e.g. RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Skills:

• Prior experience building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings via Cloud based providers

• Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions

• Strong understanding of RedHat OpenShift and/or other Kubernetes distributions

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)

• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services

• Strong Troubleshooting skills

• Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus

• Strong communication skills

More About the Role:

Tasks include the negotiation of terms and conditions, analyses of price, and creation of the subcontract document. Responsible for the monitoring of the subcontractor's performance, including the management of the deliverables and payment of invoices. Reviews and resolves with subcontractor issues affecting subcontract performance and ensures subcontractor compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and customer objectives. Daily interactions with the Program Team regarding subcontract negotiation, preparation and monitoring is required. Prepares and disseminates information regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination. May research and assist in recommending subcontract policies and procedures. May provide advice and guidance to less experienced employees. Coordinates contract activities and positively interacts with technical, business development and accounting staff.
