This Facilities Electrical Tech D will provide support for as a skilled technician replacement. Requires 8+ years' Electrical experience Tech D will coordinate work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate program requirements. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a company vehicle to travel to all 5 sites in Brevard.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for Electrical requests for 3.5M SF in 75 buildings spread across 5 locations in Brevard
8+ years' Electrical experience, preferred experience to include controls, refrigerant and mechanical.
Must have Electrical certifications and associated industry certifications.
Use Electrical software to ensure components are accurately installed, tracked, etc.
Will be required to be part of the 'on-call' rotation
Secret Clearance preferred, but not required
Role is customer focused; metric driven and has an expectation of timely completion and close out of Work Orders.
Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Requires highly developed job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related electrical engineering experience.
5+ years experience with circuit card design processes including requirements generation, preliminary design (block diagram generation, long lead part identification), detailed design (schematic generation, simulation, place & route), test plan generation, and integration & test
Experience operating electronics laboratory equipment including: digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes (DSO, Mixed Signal), signal generators, DC power supplies, etc.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience leading teams to design Digital CCAs (Technical, Cost, & Schedule)
Experience with signal integrity analysis tools (Hyperlynx preferred)
Experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite
Experience with high speed serial protocols
10/25 Gb Ethernet, PCI Express Gen 2/3, Fibre Channel, among other high speed standards
Experience with high speed memory interfaces
Has the ability to lead teams through conflict, clarify objectives, and develop consensus/buy-in as required.
Experience integrating with firmware/software and leading lab integration activities
Experience with testing and qualification of the deliverable system
