What does this role look like?

As a Circuit Design Engineer , you will work on the development of the Flight Computer Avionics circuit card assemblies in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.


Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

- Capture electrical schematics, perform analysis, and guide the board layouts.

- Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.

- Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.


We are looking for:

- Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.

- Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.

- Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.

- Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.

- Missile design experience.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Position Assignment: F-35 Training Operations Manager to be located at Eielson AFB in Alaska. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives at Eielson Air Force Base

This management position supports military pilots' flight procedures in maintaining qualification level in the Pilot Training Device by executing approved pilot training syllabi, upgrade, and tactics training. Position Assignment: System Admin on F-35 Flight Simulator supporting Eielson AFB.

Candidate will support the sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35 pilot training devices. Install components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, and customer facilities. Perform, conduct, and document preventive maintenance checks required for the devices and associated subsystems. Update maintenance data collection records and assist with the installation and check-out of modifications to equipment. Maintain simulation devices to meet availability specifications. Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals, or simulator documents. Assist with installations, testing, and maintenance of F-35 software packages to include operational and security upgrades and patches. Isolate and report malfunctions and discrepancies to the lowest definable levels. Documents and maintains cabling schematics and drawings. Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards. Have the ability to complete documentation accurately per Operating Instructions.

Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. Will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team on site to fulfill F-35 training objectives. Will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Comply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with JSF program and customer procedures. Sanitize all classified media and associated hardware (circuit cards, disk storage devices, servers, etc.) to the LRU in accordance with established JSF and customer procedures. Must have worked in an environment which required interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Job requires candidate to work a flexible schedule aligned to customer operational needs. 1st or 2nd shift.

Travel to support other sites may also be required.

Primary responsibilities include leading those who manage the implementation and execution of program quality requirements, a team of Quality Program Managers and Program and Software Quality Engineers across multiple sites. Leads personnel in Liverpool, NY and King of Prussia, PA. Recurrent travel will be required to ensure both sites are supported. Matrixed support to submarket segment Program Directors.

Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.

Ensures team's performance of contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Team members serve on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards and nominate risks and opportunities. Team ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented, schedule and ensure assessments of program (e.g. quality audits).

In addition, the GCEW/Maritime Quality Manager is responsible and accountable for:

Leads monthly Corrective Action Board (CAB) meetings for the King of Prussia, PA, site.

Supports monthly Corrective Action Board (CAB) meeting for the Syracuse site.

Submarket Segment representative and POC for all ISO-9001 Internal and external audit activity.

Oversight of GCEW/Maritime POC to the Advanced Quality Technology (AQT) team.

Interfacing with other functions and key stakeholders/customers, including Production Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and DCMA, to ensure cohesive quality leadership.

- Contribute to development of CDRL documents

- Conduct or participate in design trade studies

- Develop plans for DevSecOps pipelines and test approach

- Participate in interface working groups to define and mature external interfaces

- Investigate options and strengthen decisions related to system and software architecture (e.g., subsystem behavior, interactions between subsystems or externals, cloud architecture, formats and protocols, microservice architecture, compute/resource sizing, CI/CD and automation approaches, integration of COTS/FOSS products, etc.)

- Present at internal meetings and demos

The position requires a TS clearance to interview and a TS/SCI to start. Candidate must agree to sit for a CI Poly, but may start before the poly is conducted.

THE WORK

Position Assignment: F-35 Training Operations Manager.

The IDEAL candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives at all Air National Guard locations and be expected to participate in program/engineering events in Orlando. Additionally, in-depth knowledge of ANG operations, command structure, decision cycle and prior experience with federal and state leadership positions would be preferred.

This position supports military pilots' flight procedures in maintaining qualification level in the Pilot Training Device by executing approved pilot training syllabi, upgrade, and tactics training. CIP will provide pilot training using the F-35 Full Mission Simulator (FMS). The instructor will primarily operate Instructor Operating Station (IOS) and will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting pilot training and tactics development, as well as recommendations for courseware updates. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin team at dedicated training sites to fulfill F-35 training and continuation training objectives. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies, as directed. Candidate must maintain a Secret level security clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) access. Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. You will be the Cost Account Manager and Operations Support for the Fort Walton Beach, FL area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Cost Account Manager and Operations Support embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team, your duties will include:

-Supporting production integration efforts and various business processes in a team-based environment.

-The job requires knowledge and experience in several cross-functional areas, including Cost Account Management (CAM), production planning and control, total quality management, engineering (systems, manufacturing, equipment, and facilities), material management, and process reengineering.

-Facilitating self-directed work teams

-Offering training in core skill areas

-Interacting with internal and external customers regarding the CAM function, budget, financial requirements, product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

-To perform this role effectively, you should have experience in one or more areas of Aircraft Integration operations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Desired Skills:

Experience working as a Cost Account Manager/Financial Liasson for a robust team.

Ability to present to all levels of team members, from Sr. Management Levels of various functional teams to Integration team members and all levels in between

Self-motivated/managed/starter

Ability to adjust to daily situations as necessary to complete the mission at hand

Financial Management experience a plus

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
