Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond. This is your chance to be at the center of a generational program that will land the first woman and person of color on the Moon. As an ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Electrical Test Engineer on the Orion program , you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of electrical integration activities for the Orion spacecraft for Artemis II (first crewed flight), Artemis III (lunar landing), and future missions.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

- Develop test plans, test procedures, and automated test scripts for system and subsystem-level electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft and test articles

- Perform test procedure and test script checkout in the Orion Test Labs in Denver and Houston

- Execute test procedures on current flight articles (Artemis II and Artemis III), the Environmental Test Article (ETA), and future vehicles under Orion production

- Collaborate with team members across the program including systems engineering, CPEs/RSEs, software, test labs, manufacturing, quality, and NASA

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field preferred)

The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Hardware Group is made up of enthusiastic and talented individuals that oversee the design and production of the hardware sensors and actuators for GNC subsystems, both missiles and spacecraft. This role is specifically for a "willing to learn" delegate Hardware component engineer for the NGI program that will evolve to support of other programs. Work will be commensurate with the ability to learn and take on more responsibilities. The candidate must be capable of learning about and then performing Material Review Boards, Failure Review Board, Critical Design Reviews, Qualification Review Boards, Design and testing oversight of hardware throughout the Enterprise. Focus will be on IMU/gyros, star trackers, GPSRs, sun sensors, and MTRs but could develop into other product areas. Willingness to obtain a Secret clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related engineering degree

- Interest in hardware products preferably IMU/gyros, star trackers, GPSRs, sun sensors, and MTRs as well as learning of GNC systems and operation

Pay Rate:

As a member of the FBM Digital Capabilities Organization, you'll be responsible for development of Digital Transformation IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support that aligns with the FBM program digital thread. As a Spacecraft Design Thermal Engineer you will have a be responsible for performing preliminary and detailed thermal design and analysis on spacecraft components and subsystems (Antenna, Propulsion, etc.), as well as performing comprehensive modeling of the entire spacecraft thermal system using standardized processes and tools (Thermal Desktop, SINDA, TSS). Basic Qualifications:

-Inventory management related experience.

-MRP Planning Knowledge

-Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software, including Excel and PowerPoint.

- Must be able to obtain a DoD secret security

clearance. Obtaining a security clearance

requires US Citizenship.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
