Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond. This is your chance to be at the center of a generational program that will land the first woman and person of color on the Moon. As an ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Electrical Test Engineer on the Orion program , you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of electrical integration activities for the Orion spacecraft for Artemis II (first crewed flight), Artemis III (lunar landing), and future missions.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

- Develop test plans, test procedures, and automated test scripts for system and subsystem-level electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft and test articles

- Perform test procedure and test script checkout in the Orion Test Labs in Denver and Houston

- Execute test procedures on current flight articles (Artemis II and Artemis III), the Environmental Test Article (ETA), and future vehicles under Orion production

- Collaborate with team members across the program including systems engineering, CPEs/RSEs, software, test labs, manufacturing, quality, and NASA

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field preferred)

- Willing to work extended hours, including

2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, in support of test activities

- Willing to travel

Desired Skills:

- Fundamental knowledge of test engineering,

operations, and processes

- Experience writing test plans, test procedures, or technical documents

- Experience in subsystem/system electrical

integration and powered testing

- Experience preparing for and executing

As a member of the FBM Digital Capabilities Organization, you'll be responsible for development of Digital Transformation IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support that aligns with the FBM program digital thread. THE WORK

- The selected candidate performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions.

- Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost.

- Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule.

- Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.

- Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.

Basic Qualifications:

-Inventory management related experience.

-MRP Planning Knowledge

-Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software, including Excel and PowerPoint.

- Must be able to obtain a DoD secret security

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,500 - $119,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
