Job Summary: Assist all grades at pool facilities with towels seating being courteous and efficient. Maintain the cleanliness maintenance and organization of all supplies equipment and work areas plus ensure guest safety and enjoyment. Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with all departmental policiesserviceproceduresstandards. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Respond promptly to guests needs and complaints. Monitor and maintain cleanliness equipment sanitation and organization of assigned work areas remove trash as needed. Must have full knowledge of all Lodge facilities and services hours of operation equipment and services available for guests at the pool facility and adhere to all safetysanitation regulations for the pool facility. Check supply and equipment levels report shortages to Supervisor. Set up pool furniture cabanas towels and umbrellas. Clean vacuum and brush the pool check filter heaters and pumps to ensure proper working order. Take pooljacuzzi chemical readings at scheduled times add designated chemicals. Greet and acknowledge guests answer department telephone. Monitor all guest activity in assigned work area be alert to any sign of trouble. Ensure safety of guests and enforcement of pool rules and beach precautions according to department standards. Distribute and retrieve towels for guests. Collect dirty towels left on chairs and in poolbeach areas. Maintain the area in a clean and neat manner at all times. Remove debris and clean the furniture at the end of the day. Report any unauthorized persons in the pool areas to the Supervisor. Complete closing duties and paperwork. Clean and return recreationalrental equipment to proper storage. Align lounge chairs to specified positionlocation. Set up pool closed sign and secure storage areas. Return all dirty towels to laundry. Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule. Document pertinent information in log book. Document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to Manager. PHYSICAL EFFORT Exert physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds may remain in stationary position for extended periods of time and endure various physical movements throughout the work area. WORKING CONDITIONS Works under variable temperature conditions extreme heat or cold outdoors or indoors. May be exposed to variable noise levels fumesodor hazards around dust andor mite hazards and around chemicals. Must be 18 years of age.
