We are hiring a Project Manager, Social Impact . This individual will be responsible for leading project management in support of revenue development and donor stewardship for the American Heart Association's Social Impact. The Social Impact are a key strategy of the American Heart Association's 2024 Health Equity Impact Goals and Commitment #2 of AHA's 10 Bold Commitments to achieve Health Equity: Raising and Investing in community-led solutions to address health inequity and structural racism. The Funds make grants and investment to BIPOC and female-led social enterprises that have innovative solutions to address health and economic barriers in under-resourced communities. American Heart Association Social Impact are in 16 communities across the US and have funded 98 social enterprises to date in the areas of access to health care, food security, and economic resiliency. This position will work internally with a wide group of key stakeholders, including mission advancement leaders in all five AHA regions, field/market teams in existing and new Social Impact markets, national corporate relations and the Social Impact Investment Group.
This position can be home based!
This leader will work with cross-functional and cross-departmental teams in the coordination, execution, monitoring and controlling of broad-reaching program/projects. This individual will ensure the development of an overarching plan(s) and help teams prioritize tactics to implement an effective and resource-efficient plan. This individual may also work internally with key stakeholders and externally with strategic alliances, as appropriate.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
Provides project management for key projects. Identifies and manages project scope, schedule, development of process flows and providing role clarity) and deliverables. Drives accountability to the program plan(s). Fosters cross-departmental collaboration and communication among departments. Communicates regularly with internal staff, management, volunteers, and consultants for assigned projects to advance the plan and execution of plan/guidelines Leads team meetings to drive plan coordination and teamwork amongst team members and stakeholders. Helps the team(s) prioritize tactics and strategies
Prepares communications, including customization and preparation of donor and sponsor presentations, reports,leveraging established templates as well as custom communications; capturing content from a variety of sources to build compelling and informative narratives. Ensure donor recognition fulfillment for donor portfolio, ensuring preparation in collaboration with other departments to meet multiple recognition objectives. Respond to the needs of the VP, Mission Advancement, Social Impact to ensure preparation and follow up for external interactions is timely, professional, thoughtful and compelling
Leads the development and execution of a robust, overarching revenue development program plan(s) with throughtful and efficient tactical execution, collaborating across departments and ensuring alignment with Mission Advancement, Social Impact Fund and association standards. Understands market/ industry/donor trends, the science/ guidelines supporting AHA's strategic focus, and continually ensures a deep understanding of the objectives and impact of the program. Seeks synergies and connections to drive greater impact to plan. Develops a plan that would include clear and coordinated strategies, tactics, goals and outcomes with cross-departmental teams. Determines program(s) outcomes and goal measurements. Develops a dashboard and reporting structure to be conveyed internally to key stakeholders and to sponsors, leveraging the CRM as a primary data source, along with others
Records plans, interactions, activities and results of donor and prospect relationships in the association CRM, ensuring timely record-keeping and adherence to standards
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) - Five (5) years of relevant work experience
Planning/Product or Program Management
Marketing execution for Digital/Web, Public Health and/or Advertising
Business and Web Analytics
Office Suite (Word, Outlook, advanced Excel, advanced PowerPoint), Smartsheets
Software applications that manage projects, timelines, and communicate processes
Philanthropy, nonprofit, community impact or relations
Persuasive writing and presentations, to include proposals
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Business, Marketing or Public Health
Masters in Business, Public Health or /and Marketing
PMP Certification a Plus
