Title:
Senior Systems Engineer
KBR is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team supporting PMA-231 Advanced Programs. The successful candidate will support the design, development, integration, and testing of systems providing solutions to customer requirements in order to meet evolving challenges.
Role and Responsibilities:
Support may include physical testing, analyzing data, and interpreting information.
Prepares recommendations and solutions for specific areas in question.
You may provide leadership and direction to team members working on the same project.
Analyzes requirements and models in support of project goals.
Collaborates with customers in the preparation of assessments, systems implementation plans, systems integration, and system test and evaluation.
The candidate will use tools including Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) and Cameo to analyze system capability updates and provide recommendations to customers.
Review and provides recommendations regarding documentation such as Integrated Master Schedules, Interface Design Documents, and System Integration Test Procedures.
Travel (20-25%) is required for this position.
This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a related scientific discipline from an accredited college or university is required . Experience can be substituted for education.
Experience: A minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience supporting E-2C/E-2D System Software Integration, Test is required.
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A final DoD Top Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years is required.
The candidate must be able to handle task specific questions and engage in advanced problem solving.

Interoperability integration and testing
E-2C Independent Verification and Validation
E-2D Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and Link-16.
Software testing
