We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized application developer to join our team. In this position, you will use your skills with Python, Matlab and C++ to create and maintain applications in support of our customer onboard NSWC Corona.

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Application Developer.
5 plus years' experience:
with C++ (Object-oriented programming (OOP) language).
with Python (High-level programming language for developing websites and applications, task automation, data analysis, and data visualization).
with Matlab (Programming language and numeric computing environment).
developing graphical user interface (GUI) applications.
developing reusable code.
with the Git version control system.
with Container Technology. (Deploying C++, Python, and MATLAB applications on Red Hat OpenShift.)
developing cross platform (Windows/Linux) applications.
troubleshooting and debugging applications.
with application testing. (Unit testing, Integration testing, System testing, Acceptance testing)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Understanding of database technologies.
Relational database management system (RDBMS) (e.g. PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and SQLite).
SQL (Structured Query Language)
NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
ETL (extract, transform, load) framework.
RESTful Services and APIs
Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
HTML (HyperText Markup Language)
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
JavaScript
JavaScript and advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
JavaScript
jQuery
ReactJS
AngularJS
Understanding of the Application Development Lifecycle.
Planning, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, Support.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of: (PostgreSQL, Apache NiFi, Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive. Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Cloudera Data Platform, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI)
