Alpine, an ITW company, currently has an opening for a Machine Equipment Operator on 1st shift (5AM - 3:30PM) - in its Pontotoc, MS facility to produce connector plates by operating press machines to cut and punch steel by size and shape.

Ensures that the press and related equipment is properly set up for production.
Performs daily equipment maintenance as stated on the maintenance check sheets. Notifies maintenance personnel if machine needs other than basic maintenance attention.
Maintains production run sheets ensuring that all information is documented and accurate.
Ensures that the product is handled and packaged in the correct manner.
Cleans and maintains immediate work area on a daily basis.
Assembles boxes necessary for daily production and records boxes/bundles produced as required.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma/general education degree (GED) preferred or minimum 6-months related machine operation experience and/or training
Mechanical aptitude
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to carry out instructions
Ability to problem solve to identify the root cause of problems
Demonstrate a willingness to cooperate in a team environment
Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work 1st shift hours 5AM - 3:30 PM and overtime when scheduled
