What You'll Get to Do:
This position will be in our Shared Service Center, where the individual will work with minimal supervision to prepare and administer purchase orders for materials in accordance with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.
Review requisition, solicit/evaluate bid, recommend and select supplier for award of purchase orders.
Negotiate price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions.
Perform oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery/completion of goods/services.
Coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
Recruit and maintain responsive suppliers providing high quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices.
Negotiate with suppliers and settles damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders.

Experienced professional individual contributor on a team.
Typically works on purchasing activities valued up to $500,000.
May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from more senior level staff.
Must comply with corporate policies, procedures, and underlying Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase and/or shipment of goods, materials, and services.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 5+years of related work experience.
Experience with Procure to Pay systems.
Requires a working knowledge of advanced Procure to Pay systems.
Requires training and experience with the utilization of a PCard.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in Costpoint and P2P systems is a plus.
Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and GSA Schedules.
Advanced Excel and Word Document skills.
Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Attention to details and problem-solving skills.

$50,400 - $105,800
