The Repair Planner is a salary position with openings in the Orange County, So California market. The
Repair Planner for Fix Auto must be a professional in every aspect of collision repair and must be
proficient with most insurance company direct referral programs.
Auto Body Estimating
Proficient with both Mitchell and CCC estimating systems
Write a complete repair plan after the vehicle is disassembled
Coordinate communication with the Customer Sales Representative
Allocate labor resources
Source, order & receive parts per insurer and company guidelines
Manage the repair process
Meet minimum CSI & cycle time requirements
Oversee repair quality
File documentation and pictures
Pre-close the file
At least 3 years of DRP writing experience, along with outstanding insurace relations
Excellent CSI scores, laser focus on quality repairs and customer service excellence
Excellent interpersonal skills, responsive listening and critical thinking aptitude.
Excellent oral and written skills, detail oriented, punctual.
Knowledge of metal/refinish replacement and repair techniques
I-CAR certification are preferred. I-CAR certification is mandatory within one year of employment
State appraiser's license required within six (6) months of employment.
