In this role as a SGML/XML Developer/Programmer, you will:
Create, update, and maintain Digital Support Suites (DSS) for TMSS.
Assist in training authors, editors and other users of TMSS DSS.
Work closely with TMSS analysts to create and maintain SGML Digital Support Suites (DSS) to support AF TMSS user requirements.
Analyze, document, and map Air Force Operations and Maintenance requirements found in existing Air Force Technical Manual Specifications and Standards (TMSS) to SGML/XML markup notation. This involves marking up the SGML/XML documents on all the ways to use attributes based on business rules defined for the Air Force.
Qualifications
To be successful in this Business Process Analyst I roll, you will have:
High School Diploma/GED
NACI or ability to obtain a NACI
Three to Five years' experience with markup languages, at least two of which must be with SGML/XML.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Additional desired experience and skills:
Development and testing of TMSS digital publishing tools to include DTDs and style sheets.
Knowledge of XML schemas is a plus.
Three to five years of relevant work experience relating to AF Technical Orders is desirable.
Desire experience in an Air Force Technical Data environment.
Proven ability to function in a team environment .
