Job Description
This position will be responsible for collecting and synthesizing data and developing senior level presentations in support of the President's office and Communications. Responsibilites include preparing monthly Corporate reports for the Board of Directors (BOD), developing presentations for senior level customer meetings and community or Corporate visits, preparing briefings to the BOD, as well as other projects as directed. In addition, this position will help advance the program of work for the Communications and Community Engagement department by promoting and advancing Ingalls Shipbuilding's mission and goals. Additional duties will include building support for the brand through the promotion of initiatives, programs, services and events to various audiences, and assisting in developing integrated, creative and strategic campaigns. The position will serve as a project manager working in collaboration with communications and marketing, special events and community engagement.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant professional work experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years experience. In lieu of degree, a minimum of 14 years relevant professional work experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced skillset in MS PowerPoint and Excel and experience synthesizing and visually presenting data and presentations for senior management.
