This position is contigent upon your ability to obtain and maintain an Interim DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

Serco supports the Navy Amphibious Assault and Connectors Program. This position supports the Business Financial Management Division in the procurement and life cycle management of the Navy's Landing Craft, Utility (LCU) 1700, a replacement to the current LCU 1610 and the Ship-to-Shore Connector.

You will be part of a stellar team that consists of Acquisition Program Analysts as well as a broader team of on-site representatives that work in the fleet and other shipbuilder and government contractors.

In this role you will:

  • Support DAES and SAR Reporting.

  • Provide program management and direct acquisition and life cycle support to the LCU 1700 program.

  • Analyze new construction shipyard performance by monitoring the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLS), and track progress of the deliverables involved with detailed design, construction, and product support.

  • Track production percentages against the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), identifying problems for management attention, research, and provide solution options.

  • Coordinate with the technical community and develop white papers and presentations for the government and the fleet on issues impacting the LCU 1700 program.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the LCU 1700 team including Staff Meetings, Task Planning Sheet (TPS) reviews, Risk Management Board meetings and other relevant meetings; taking minutes and identifying and tracking action items to resolution.

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate near-term and long-range programmatic calendars.

  • Provide analysis and metrics for issues that arise in the LCU 1700 Program (i.e., late delivery analysis, delay claim analysis, and other availability issues.)

  • Organize and maintain Program tracking files/tools on the Integrated Data Environment (IDE) database.

  • Work with Configuration Management Team to research contractual questions, address contract modifications, and track Contract Problem Identification Reports to completion.

  • Provide timely and efficient responses for all urgent LCU 1700 tasking.

  • Ensure a detailed breakdown is provided for LCU 1700 Transition Plan issues that arise during availabilities in order to deliver craft by their Contractual Delivery Date.

  • Ensure LCU 1700 program correspondence and deliverables are in accordance with Serco's Quality Assurance Program.

  • Assist and provide analysis for issues that arise in the LCU 1700 Program such as late delivery analysis, delay claim analysis, and other availability issues as needed.

  • Work with the Serco Integrated Data Environment (IDE) team in ensuring the seamless workflow of customer deliverables in the database.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of relevant work experience. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 6 years of applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

  • Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance post-employment.

  • Strong customer, organizational level communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are essential to being successful in this role.

  • Recent experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite programs especially Excel and PowerPoint are required.

  • While not required, prior experience with Navy Maintenance Databases and other Navy systems is preferred.
