FINANCIAL ANALYST 4Location: Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States Date: Nov 9, 2022Job DescriptionPerforms economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment. May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit or division. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered expert in field within the organization. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Most assignments are complex and performed independently without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related field with 10 years' experience or Master's degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience. Preferred QualificationsPrior extensive experience performing Cost and Price Analyses of Subcontractor/Supplier Proposals, in strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), to analyze price reasonableness and develop negotiation objective recommendations. Expert proficiency in effective business writing and Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Experience supporting Strategic Sourcing projects and participating in Cost/Price Negotiations.
