The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for an Application Analyst.

The Application Analyst is responsible for technical management and administration of AHA's Intelligo Store application and its integration with an external invoicing vendor (operating on cloud platform). Responsible for data analysis, troubleshooting, training and detailing best practices. Capable of performing in a tier 2 support role. Also, responsible for building and managing relationship(s) with application vendor(s), support vendors and other AHA departments to provide and receive support as needed.

This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding set to expire on 6/30/2025 but is likely to extend.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provides analysis and administration of the Intelligo Store on web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) application(s) across AHA, including site testing, administrative setup, product rollouts, security, workflow, schedules and maintenance, training, and configuration. Will also need to understand the various integration points and fulfillment platforms that contribute to the Intelligo Store and be able to manage and prioritize related issues with the respective vendor/owner.

  • Provides tier 2 service and support through various channels (such as email, ticketing systems or other web-based communications for the Intelligo Store.)

  • Plans and coordinates application modification projects, specifically international invoicing which includes capturing business requirements, identifying resources, and participating in scheduling and implementation.

  • Troubleshoots and conducts technical analysis to resolve problems with the Intelligo Store.

  • Conducts quality assurance and testing during upgrade releases and ensures the AHA customization remains intact. Identifies and resolves issues with new code or releases.

  • Identifies and documents assigned application best practices. Analyzes data and reports to ensure application data quality. Can also present and communicate reports to all levels of the organization as well as internal and external partners.

  • Leads Power User Group to ensure business understanding and user alignment with Intelligo Store best practices and standards. Provides training to users and lower-level system administrators.

  • Escalates issues and concerns to management, application vendor or developer(s) to resolve.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or appropriate certification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area, or equivalent work experience

  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of technology and languages behind assigned application including but not limited to CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML, RESTAPIs or other programming languages as the need arises by application assignment

  • Ability to train and mentor application users with sophisticated customer service skills

  • Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills. Proactively reach out to staff, volunteers, vendors and customers to share information, knowledge, expertise, and time to achieve common goals, update on progress and issues

  • Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Two (2) years of experience in training and instruction

  • Two (2) years of experience working with customer in a consultative manner

  • Two (2) years of experience with eCommerce platforms
