Additional positions may be filled from this announcement up to 90 days after it closes. Responsibilities Serves as a Electronic Pricing Coordinator at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ facility. The primary purpose of this position is to function as an Electronic Pricing Coordinator, combining the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) pricing coordinator and WEB pricing coordinator functions of the Special Programs section. Position responsibilities include: Responsible for the accurate pricing of all commissary resale items and for the electronic flow of vendor pricing information to the stores. Coordinates with contracting specialists and contracting officer to verify contract actions. Performs all pricing research. data input, and data corrections in DeCA Interactive Business System (DIBS), Commissary Operations Management System (COMS) and the internet. Deals directly with industry, to include brokers, manufacturers, vans, and various software companies to ensure that pricing is relayed correctly through the EDI system or the internet. One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level or equivalent to at least GS-06 under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Examples of qualifying specialized experience: Checking prices in various systems and identifying any possible discrepancies. Using automated business systems to input, gather, and distribute pricing information to parties within and outside of organization. Understanding technical processes, procedures and guideline in order to prioritize and effectively manage workload. Education You may not use education to qualify.
