The Workplace Violence Mitigation Program Manager will report to the Senior Director of System Security Services. The position is responsible for supporting all aspects of Workplace Violence Mitigation and Threat Assessment and Management supporting all the Essentia Health System including the following: Lead all workplace violence prevention initiatives, outreach, training, and response programs. Be responsible for leading and coordinating the Threat Assessment and Management Committee and Sub-Committees efforts. Conduct broad and focused threat assessments working collaboratively with both internal and external resources.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for identifying and standardizing strategizes to mitigate workplace violence, engaging key stakeholders with effective program analysis, developing faculty and staff training, and helping to establish proactive policies and protocols as well as enhancing reporting outcomes

  • Also responsible for the timely reporting all reportable events as required by regulations after reviewing all WPV related incident reports

  • Will work with colleagues from other across the system to design and develop best practice standards for managing and mitigating workplace violence incidents

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related area and five (5) years of related experience/training

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification as a Certified Threat Assessment Professional

  • Experience In Developing and Implementing Advisory Training

  • Experience in Assessment of Training Needs

  • Master's Degree

  • Experience Working in Healthcare Environment

Pay Range

$69285 - $103938 / year

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
