The Opportunity
As a dedicated Clarity PPM SME you will be a self-starter who has immaculate attention to detail with a strong coding background and solid analytical and problem solving/troubleshooting details. You should have a passion for learning, be able to work in a collaborative environment and be able to push Clarity to the limit in order to make it do things it can't do out of the box!
This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel.
What you'll do:
Work with Product Owner, System Architect & Tech Lead to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Customer Support and handling of user tickets.
Open Support Tickets with Clarity Vendors as needed.
Troubleshoot Clarity or integrations as required.
Provide application and subject matter expertise in both Clarity PPM technical and functional areas.
Configuration and customization of Clarity PPM components including Portlets, Processes, Objects ,Lookups to enable advanced features and to automate workflows
Extending Clarity functionality through building portlets, processes, GEL scripts, lookups, blueprints etc.
Troubleshooting and debugging complex clarity code issues
Writing and reading detailed technical documentation.
Test case development and execution in a manual test management tool (ex: Qtest)
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be used in lieu of a degree.
6 years of software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s).
4 years of experience delivering technology solutions in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle to include leading code/design reviews.
Basic Understanding of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL.
Demonstrated experience researching technical issues and generating creative/innovative solutions.
Demonstrated experience addressing production issues by troubleshooting applications and systems.
Experience articulating technical challenges and solutions.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
Demonstrated experience working with cloud technologies and tools.
What sets you apart:
Clarity PPM certified professional
7+ years of experience administration/development of clarity ppm tool.
Should have In-depth experience of Clarity PPM web services/XOG (SOAP/Rest API)
Experience with Java for clarity ppm integration with other applications
Experience with Portlets, Processes, NSQL Queries, Lookups, HTML Portlets, Modern UX experience, XOG, Process workflows, Gel Scripts, REST API and Clarity Studio Design and Development Clarity Web Services
Familiar with clarity modern UX 16.0+ Familiar with gitlab/CICD pipelines, Kibana(elastic)/Splunk logs
Experience with snap logic
Demonstrated ability to independently research technical issues and generate create/innovative solutions.
Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers
Independently resolves complex production issues and leads troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions that span multiple applications and systems.

What we offer:
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $104,660.00 - $199,970.00 .
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
