The Opportunity
USAA is hiring 6 Bank Garnishment Subpoena Specialists who will be responsible for servicing subpoenas within the Bank Garnishments and Subpoena's team.
Within defined guidelines and framework, research and conduct initial review of garnishments, liens/levies, and subpoenas in accordance with bank, investor, and regulatory guidelines while partnering with more senior peers to fulfill subpoena requests.
This position is a hybrid work type and can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO or Tampa, FL. Hybrid roles help employees gain the best of both worlds - collaborating in-person in the office and working from home when needed to achieve focused results.
What you'll do:
Acquire and apply basic knowledge of industry and internal policies and processes to research and review requests for garnishments, levies, and subpoenas.
Research member files to determine response to Subpoena's, Criminal and Civil Court Orders, and Grand Jury requests for member related Banking documents.
Partner with more senior peers to review required documents associated with requests and ensures accurate filing of documents with regulatory authorities, courts, and other tribunal.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are efficiently identified, measured, supervised, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
1 year of experience in a financial services organization.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and internal applicable processes and operating systems.

What we offer:
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $51,900- $88,590 .
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
