If you pride yourself in consistency, good work ethic, and punctual, then this is the job for you. 1st shift availability to start ASAP!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Check raw stock with tape measure, caliper, dial thickness gauge, and micrometer for proper widths and thickness- Use a tape measure, dial thickness gage and/or micrometer accurately- Will be called upon to lift and move raw stock in excess of 50lbs- Move cut stock to the proper holding areas of the various departments as needed- Read job travelers and determine the type of material needed, thickness of material, and the dimensions the material should be cut- Communicate with supervisor of any machine issues- Follow priorities and work order due dates when completing work- Understand and perform the policies, procedures, and work instructionsRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- 1 year of experience as a machine operator- Production/manufacturing experience (6 months-1 year)- Pay close attention to detail and safety- Basic math skills - there will be a test and Mechanical Aptitude test- Work independently at fast paced heavy labor environment- Lift, pull, carry, bend, reach, and twist- Lift up to 50lbs- Working knowledge of storage unit- Maintain a clean work area
