Ferguson is currently hiring a dedicated Route Planner to join our Chantilly distribution team. If you have an interest in logistics and a desire to learn new things, then this is the position for you!
Responsibilities
Sole responsibility for planning next day orders for private and 3rd party fleets
Evaluate and coordinate all special delivery requests
Monitor overall fleet performance compared to customer requirements
Provide data for Data Driven Decision Making
Work alongside sales team on scheduling of next day orders
Maintain Dispatch Track data for drivers and vehicles
Coordinate last minute additional runs via our truck or courier
Required to be on-site 5 days per week
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
2+ years of prior dispatching experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
Dispatch Track software experience preferred but willing to teach the right candidate
Well organized, strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism
Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
Out of the box problem solver with a strong sense of urgency

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
