Ferguson is currently searching for an organized, highly motivated, and detail oriented Administrative Customer Service Representative to provide administrative support to our Corporate Submittal Center team and Managers in our Raleigh, NC, and/or Newport News, VA locations. In this role you will work closely with the Regional Quotations team to provide excellent, comprehensive administrative support.
This position does allow for remote work with a hybrid/flexible option available for those in Raleigh or Newport News. Please see below requirements for more information on remote work possibilities.
Responsibilities:
Create Submittal and Operation & Maintenance manuals for ongoing projects
Manage high-volume email requests via shared Outlook inbox
Organize and file inbound emails and attachments appropriately in project folders
Collaborate with Customer Service Supervisor to ensure job scheduling is coordinated accurately
Identify business critical issues quickly and collaborate with team members to resolve
Support quotations team through input of job information into quotations software site, BidTracer
Use and maintain established SOPs to complete administrative processes
Provide phone support for incoming calls as needed
Requirements:
Ability to collaborate and support quotations associates and managers in a team-oriented environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, especially Teams and Outlook
Proficient in Adobe Pro is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Strong computer and typing skills
Ability to handle a highly deadline driven environment
Ability to be flexible and adaptable as this position often requires multi-tasking
Ability to identify business critical issues quickly and navigate priorities based on last minute changes
Be well organized, detail oriented, and have excellent time-management skills
Possess a high level of integrity and professionalism
Requirements for Hybrid Workers:
Hybrid candidates should be aware that our main offices are in the Eastern and Central time zones. This may require schedule flexibility for onboarding and training as well as team meetings.
The candidate must be flexible to work in the time zone based on the territory assigned.
Hybrid candidates must have high speed internet connection.
Candidates outside of these markets will be considered, pending their qualifications.
Location:
The National Quotations department has offices in Raleigh, NC and Newport News, VA and service the entire country. Ideally, we are looking for candidates within reasonable driving distance to work a hybrid/flexible schedule with time in the office for in person meetings, training and/or collaboration. Therefore, the opportunity to work remotely exists.
