Title:
Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Engineer
KBR is seeking a highly motivated Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Engineer with satellite AI&T experience to support a major SIGINT acquisition system program office. The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering or other technical discipline. Key skills include a working knowledge of satellite electrical and mechanical systems requirements, design, manufacture, integration and testing. Individual must be able to assess risks associated with different integration and tests approaches and clearly communicate mitigation and trade-offs.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering or technical discipline
5 years experience with space systems AI&T
Experience in AGILE concepts and satisfaction of requirements
Develop and Execute Test Procedures using Test Like You Fly (TLYF)
Clearly define measurable acceptance criteria
Satellite development experience with low and medium earth systems
Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-starter who can partner with multiple teammates
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in engineering discipline or systems engineering
5-10 years experience with space systems AI&T
Understanding of Integration and Testing best practices (Aerospace TOR)
Understanding of procurement, maintenance and qualification of Special Test Equipment (STE)
Exposure to the system design trade process, assessing system design options, analyzing mission requirements, monitoring vehicle development, test development/execution, and tracking requirement verification
Specific knowledge of the NRO and its processes
Domain expertise in SIGINT space systems
Clearance: TS/SCI CI poly is required
