ITW Medical is comprised of three highly-respected medical product brands - Coeur, Filtertek & Precise Biomedical - supplying medical devices, components and service to global medical device brands. Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components. Precise provides technical service, maintenance & training for contrast media injectors. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the facilities central systems including chiller, air compressors, water treatment systems, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems including root cause troubleshooting.

  • Oversight of general facility maintenance items such as roofing, lighting, rollup doors, docks, etc.

  • Maintenance and security of building and campus

  • Management of spare parts inventory in database system

  • Preventative maintenance items as assigned.

  • Safety-related tasks as assigned

  • Support all technical aspects of the injection molding operation, maximizing good component production by focusing on uptime and minimizing scrap.

  • Support all technical aspects of the assembly automation, maximizing the production of good finished products by focusing on uptime and minimizing scrap.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment required for the processes related to automation and molding

  • Setup and operate molding machines, automation and support equipment

  • Work closely with setup technicians and operators to ensure proper operation of equipment

  • Document work performed in the appropriate format according to the quality system

  • Improve efficiency while ensuring quality standards, individually as and part of a team

  • Assist Quality with finding and implementing corrective actions from customer rejections

  • Communicate with other shifts, operators, and technicians to give and receive updates on equipment status

  • Ability to accommodate occasional flexible schedule when required

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to safely operate required equipment for performing job functions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance-related role

  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electric systems

  • Familiarity with automated assembly and sonic welding preferred

  • Experience with tool and die (maintenance and repair) beneficial

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints

  • Willingness/ability to attend formal training courses to learn PLC troubleshooting if needed

  • Must possess good communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
