What We're Looking For
Focuses on Program and project quality management initiatives on mega Projects in the transportation space (bridge & highway). Works with Program Quality Manager as well as other Sr Program Managers to learn other areas of PMC services and the connections between them.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Responsibilities would include:
Assist with Programmatic Quality Initiatives
Conduct Quality Auditing & Compliance activities
Lead AARs and facilitate Lessons Learned activities
Responsible for maintaining Quality Oversight Implementation Tools/Trackers
Additional quality-related assignments per PMC Leadership
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate should understand construction, preferably in the Design/Build space, as well as how Design/Build contractors 'think'.The successful candidate should understand what it means to be a consultant and how to work on behalf of the client working to drive Project success.The successful candidate will also possess a work philosophy that diffuses tensions and apprehension, builds trust, and demonstrates genuine interest in the success of the Team/Project. Most importantly, the successful candidate must demonstrate the requisite soft-skill abilities as noted above. Having a mindset that Auditing is a 'we' thing.Having a positive mindset is key.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management plus 8 - 15 years' experience in planning/design, project/construction management, or quality management in a technical industry.
What You'll Need
Essential Responsibilities:
Supports the Program Manager by effectively managing and delivering PMC services in the area or area(s) assigned.
Resolves issues of moderate financial impact, seeks guidance from Program Manager for issues of greater financial or business risk to the client.
Identifies and brings to the Program Manager potential areas to increase HNTB's presence and revenue with the client as appropriate.
Builds and maintains positive relationships with clients at the comparable organization level, actively attending and building relationships within local and state industry organizations.
Identifies staffing needs for the delivery of services for their area(s), providing direction and oversight to staff, client staff and subcontractors.
Participates in the development of client service action plans and client project reviews.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
3 years relevant experience
