Program ManagerThis position has the possibility for telework or a hybrid work schedule.Purpose:Atlantic CommTech, a Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc subsidiary, is in need of a Program Manager who will work with the Business Development/Strategic Planning team to identify and pursue new customers, programs, and business opportunities.Job Description:Plan, schedule, direct, and approve all work assigned to the program and assure that quality projects are delivered on time and within budget.Identify and develop marketing and business plans for targeted opportunities that fall within the capabilities of the Company.Market and capture work to ensure the Companys Core Business Objectives and competitiveness in the marketplace is maintained.Keep abreast of evolving technology and procedures, which may enhance the opportunities for future projects.Promote existing customer relations through frequent communication.Consult with customers to increase understanding of their requirements as well as gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas and actions.Project a positive image to employees, customers, and similar industrial companies by ensuring a cost-efficient, quality product is produced in accordance with the customers requirements.Maintain a positive work environment through positive actions to affect morale, providing adequate opportunities for employee personal growth, and ensuring the program meets Company regulations and policies.Direct and coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.Direct and coordinate personnel management activities including performance management, recruiting, hiring, promotions, and terminations.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or related fieldORequivalent experience and at least 6 years of relevant experience managing projects or programs.Must be able to perform cradle-to-grave project requirements, from proposal writing to contract execute and closeoutsMust be able to work collaboratively with technical staff, business development, program management, contracts, procurement, and pricing personnel to actively support customer requirements and bring in new business opportunities.Must establish key milestones, plans and schedules to drive the accomplishment of milestones in timely manner.Must understand and coordinate the sequencing of projects to accomplish progress.Must ensure projects and program are properly scoped and resourced, and teams are engaged and informed of key responsibilities.Must prepare and present milestone reviews to internal and external managementMust regularly track project performance and identify areas for improved efficiency across the program.Must partner with the working teams to identify risks/opportunities proactively and surface recommendations and learnings.Must manage stakeholder communications and prioritize topics for executive engagement.Must have the ability to adopt and adapt the right project management framework for a given project/programMust have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must have experience with working in fast-paced, and mission-focused environmentsMust have strong oral and written communication skills, with experience briefing senior corporate management.Desired Qualifications:A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).Previous military experience supporting DoD customers.Experience with working with DoD, and more specificity, USAF program officesExperience with reviewing Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) to determine bid, no-bid decision and best technical approach and practices.Experience with writing to RFI, RFPs, etc., and conducting color reviews.Security Requirements:Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.Travel Requirements:Occasional travel-up to 15%Be able to obtain and maintain a Passport.If position
