Baxter Manufacturing, a business unit within ITW-Food Equipment Group, has an opening for a full-time Staff Accountant in our Finance Department. This position will be located at the Baxter Manufacturing facility in Orting, Washington, which is located one-hour South of Seattle.

Responsibilities
Assist with the monthly financial reporting needs of our Orting, WA business unit
Process Accounts Payable transactions: accurately input invoices utilizing Epicor, verify approvals and provide GL codes, research invoice discrepancies, issue vendor payments
Analyze and post weekly Concur transactions to the GL
Calculates and enters monthly journal entries, and reconciles balance sheet accounts
Assists with our physical inventory, and cost roll processes at the Orting plant
Process monthly receivable transactions: review and verify pricing, issue invoices and account statements to customers, apply payments to customer accounts in Epicor
Post inventory adjustments, and research inventory discrepancies
Prepare ad-hoc reports for management, as needed
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of cost accounting, accounts payable, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze and compare large data files using pivot tables, formulas, and other data tools
Ability to build cross-department credibility, confidence, and collaboration with other functional areas and facilities
Education: BS in Accounting/Business
Experience: 2+ Years
