JOB SUMMARY:
Power Delivery's Workforce Strategy Manager is responsible for designing and executing the organization's people
strategies for both the covered and non-covered workforce and, in partnership with key business functions including
External Affairs, Workforce Development, Human Resources and Labor Relations, establishing measures of success
for all efforts related to the planning and execution of the employee hiring life cycle for a budgeted 3,500-person
organization. This role will be integral in managing the creation and execution of a long-term strategy around all
aspects of Power Delivery's human capital.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
4-year degree in related discipline highly preferred.
4 years of managerial experience of employees highly preferred.
Experience establishing and defining a comprehensive long-term workforce planning strategy and roadmap that meets the strategic and operational objectives of the business.
Ability to think holistically and develop innovative and effective business strategies.
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously involving internal and external stakeholders.
Consult at all levels with business leaders concerning their organizational needs and business workforce strategies.
Deep knowledge of and experience working with key stakeholders including Human Resources and Workforce Development functions.
Ability to effectively collaborate in highly cross-functional environments, engage diverse stakeholders, and translate significant information and varied points of view into insights that will impact PD's workforce.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written, including ability to convey information in a manner that is compelling and convincing to individuals at all levels inside and outside the company.
Ability to develop and maintain influential relationships and to navigate effectively in internal and external environments with high profile partners.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop employees as future leaders. Ability to attract top talent and build high performing teams
Ability to lead and operate in a fast paced, real-time operational environment with changing business dynamics
Ability to lead and manage through change. Should be recognized as a change agent
Outstanding credibility and demonstrated ability to build strong relationships within the company and industry as well as with vendors/suppliers

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
This role will be responsible for the creation and execution of a long-term strategy around all aspects of Power
Delivery's human capital including but not limited to:
Develop the long-term people strategy to engage in the communities we serve to attract talent.
Developing future pipelines to meet the growing demands faced by the organization and establishing criteria for success.
Analyzing workforce trends to target strategies around employee hiring and retention.
Aligning PD's hiring strategy with Moving to Equity commitment to increase and improve outreach, recruitment, hiring and retention of diverse groups in all areas and at all levels of the workforce.
Leading a team to create a data driven approach to forecast workforce needs across multiple disciplines
Develop hiring and retention strategies for diverse department needs, i.e. craft labor, engineering, system operators, arborists, project management, etc.
Partner with system training and labor relations to develop the sustainable strategy for matching training capacity to hiring needs.
This position has direct responsibility and ownership of organization-specific processes related to workforce plans and
modeling, recruitment, the onboarding experience of the workforce and ensuring the sustainable success of these
processes. This role will also be responsible for managing data sourcing and other analytics that will be used to
determine workforce planning projections, ideal staffing models to meet growing customer and business demands and
for evaluating the effectiveness of PD's current and future hiring and retention strategies. The individual must possess
superior leadership skills with the ability to navigate complex internal and external relationships, including
engagements with IBEW and industry talent pipelines.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead ideation, business case development, and project implementation for PD's covered and non-covered long-term workforce planning strategies.
Lead and influence a diverse workforce.
Drive efforts to improve representation metrics more predictably.
Translate potential opportunities from data analysis into actionable strategic projects.
Maximize external workforce relationships to impact employee pipelines and create measures of effectiveness to monitor their impact.
Develop and maintain expertise in workforce issues and trends impacting all PD functions.
Elevate the impact of Power Delivery's influence as an industry leader through growing engagements with key technical partners.
Engage with system partners including but not limited to Human Resources and Workforce Development.
