The Industrial Equipment Division is looking for a highly motivated Engineer for a position on our Quality Engineering team. This position will include Quality Control/Assurance activities and continuous improvement of all industrial welding products. This position requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other members our team to efficiently support our products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Function as one of the quality resources in the division to investigate and work with the team to resolve product issues that may arise both internally on the manufacturing line and externally with our suppliers or customers.

  • Interface with manufacturing personnel to drive quality conversations regarding manufacturing processes.

  • Review and improve the Industrial Equipment's process of acquiring, analyzing, and communicating Non-Conformance Notice, First Pass Yield and Warranty metrics to assist with achieving our Quality goals.

  • Work closely with the Sustaining Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing, Product Management, Customer Service, suppliers, and end users to improve current products and assure customer satisfaction.

  • Review and troubleshoot suspect components identified on the manufacturing line or returned from our service network.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required.

  • 1-5 years of industry experience.

  • Proficiency with troubleshooting, compliance testing, documentation, and manufacturing support.

  • Must be able to work effectively as an individual or in a team environment.

  • Self-motivated individual with solid communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Limited travel may be required.

  • Has attained or is willing to attain CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or related certification in quality engineering principles.

  • Experience with data collecting, monitoring, and analytics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding electromechanical manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to read and review technical drawings and BOM.

  • ISO 9001 and UL specifications.

  • Experience with supplier quality traceability and verification processes.
