HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a Manager Production Planning and Scheduler to provide leadership for the RCOH Special Project Team and assist in management of Sub-Contractors. This requires knowledge of work practices within the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) to support both the ESU and CEMAT contracts. They will interface with upper management, government representatives, Ship's Force, NNS, and various other group that support ESU and CEMAT work efforts. They will perform day-to-day management of the RCOH special projects as assigned by the Program Managers. They will also be responsible for sub-contractor tracking and management to include quality, safety, and schedule. They must have good technical writing skill and the ability to interpret drawings and other documents, since one of their primary duties will be the development of Statements of Work (SOW) with the assistance of other managers.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and develop one or more diverse teams to ensure schedule and project objectives are met.

  • Designs and implements training programs to enhance the effectiveness of workers and teams to increase organization productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitors and coordinate the execution of the various projects and processes related to client-contracted agreements and provide improvements as necessary.

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, safety to meet customer-satisfaction and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem solving with each team, sub-contractor, and customers.

  • Reports project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed, de-escalating issues as necessary.

  • Develop and maintaining Statements of work to support RCOH baseline work and growth work.

  • Coordinate and manage sub-contractor expectations to maintain schedule.

  • Liaise between the RCOH Group and Sub-contractors to ensure objectives are met.

What You Must Have

4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.

Bonus Points For Having

  • Experience working with various Technical Documents; CTWD's WAF's, FWP's, CWP's, and SCD's.

  • Proven success working with all levels of management, including stakeholders, vetting and influencing decision that are being made to schedules and work.

  • Demonstrate experience-delivering results in a high-pressured environment.

  • Ability to establish and build strong relationships across a diverse network.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex NAVSEA drawings and the ability to incorporate changes as directed by Government and/or Ship's Force.

  • Ability to respond effectively to most sensitive issues.

  • HII-MT Team Leader qualified.

  • Prior RCOH experience.

  • Prior experience leading and performing SCD work.

Physical Requirements

May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
