The Utility/Driver is responsible for delivering proper food and supplies as determined by the daily menu and meal count to Senior Centers and Nutrition Sites as directed by the Manager. Duties of this position include packing, loading and delivering food and supplies for lunch meal according to route instructions. Maintaining the assigned company vehicle and equipment according to standards and following all company, client and traffic policies, rules and regulations. A valid state driver's license for the type of vehicle being driven is required. The ideal candidate must possess an acceptable driving record and excellent customer services skills. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that weigh a minimum of 75 pounds. Must have a State Food Handlers permit where required by state law.
