Cracker Barrel is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide support to all Home Office and remote users within Cracker Barrel and Maple Street regarding technical, hardware, and software issues through troubleshooting, correcting issues, and maintenance. This position requires making independent decisions to resolve issues, provide service and support in an expeditious manner, and regulating all aspects of user compliance.
Provides support to all Home Office and remote users within Cracker Barrel and Maple Street regarding technical, hardware, and software issues. Makes independent decisions to resolve issues and provide service and support in an expeditious manner. Troubleshoots software and hardware problems and takes corrective action within scope of expertise, refers more complex problems to appropriate resource. Installs and maintains new and existing hardware and software.
Provide communication and consultation for new or updated hardware or software to Home Office and remote users within Cracker Barrel and Maple Street. Uses technology and expertise to solve issues with departmental workflow. Builds relationships with business leaders to proactively share knowledge about technology that could benefit the department.
Works closely with Tier 1 support, Infrastructure, and other desktop support Analysts to take appropriate action to resolve use issues. Guides and assists with integrating new and improved technology into departmental workflow. Assists users in determining hardware and software needs and advises users on which products to use or purchase. Research new and emerging technology that could benefit the organization and recommends products or plans to IS leadership.
Provides provisioning for all stores, Home Office, remote users and Maple Street Home office and Community Leaders. Setups for phones for Home Office, remote users, and Maple Street Home Office. Provides updates and communicates those updates when available for Home Office, remote users, and Maple Street Home Office.c
Work with Infrastructure and Security team to ensures software licenses are current and appropriate. Monitors all computer-related assets.
Leads or assists with part or all of projects as assigned including planning, research, user training, user consultation, etc.
Sets up technology in conference rooms. Provides conference room technology support including MS Teams, webcam, projections, connection, etc.
Provide user computing support. Answers call when the user computing hotline is called.
