Military Analyst with Submarine Experience

Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their Team Submarine contract supporting the acquisition of submarines. The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.
Serco-NA is seeking a motivated individual to provide programmatic support to one of our NAVSEA customers. Serco-NA has an opening for a Military Analyst with submarine expertise to support an active contract with the U.S. Navy in the Washington, D.C. area.
In this role, you will:
Act as the lead for COLUMBIA program office requirements documents such as CONOPS, OMS/MP, FD/SC, CDD, and VOLT. Retain broad responsibility to ensure ship design and delivery configuration supports the operational and warfare requirements in the CDD and other DoD and DoN level requirements documents.
Frequently interface with SSBN fleet, OPNAV and the Intelligence Community.
Provide leadership and management to the COLUMBIA Submarine program office requirements team.
Develop and track metrics to measure project progress towards established goals and objectives.
Participate on a team of highly experienced professional government and contractor support personnel.
Support program office efforts to verify COLUMBIA Design - Build - Test - Sustain processes meet SSBN fleet operational, availability, reliability, and safety requirements.
Support the development, review, and approval of testing plans and at-sea demonstrations.
Review and assist with validating COLUMBIA SSBN ILS products for IOC and life cycle support.
GENSER TS required.
Be seated in 397 OSS, five days a week.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Top-Secret clearance IS REQUIRED for consideration.
Experience as a submarine XO or department.
Bachelor's degree, plus 10-12 years' experience.
Experience leading projects and interfacing with Government and industry stakeholders.
Recent experience in Team Submarine program offices would be ideal.
